I haven't finished yet (I have completed the first 2 "major" sections at this point), but I am enjoying the game. It is much more linear than the last game (which was more GTA-like in my opinion), and the destruction isn't quite as good as the previous game, but the action is fun and the new weapons are a blast to use on the enemies.

Overall I am enjoying it more than the last game, but ohat could be because I found the last game very repetitive after the first few "chapters" and disliked the "insta-spawning" of enemies that I haven't seen in this game yet.

I'll write more when I finish - probably not until this weekend though.

I have enjoyed the game and did finish it, but it felt a bit like halo. I don't want to spoil the plot to much for any one playing but it started to feel like fighting the flood over again. I will say it is one of those games from a story point of view I will remember, but I play games for a good story or to blow things up.

All that needs to be said is: Mr. Toots!

    Every game should have one.

Dude, that game's pretty good. Just some bits are not good and sometimes kept crashing on my bro's pc when I played it, even though his PC is the beast (I used Direct X11)

In this case, Mr. Toots is one bloody badass pony . You'll get him when you have done the campaign as well as some other bonuses. I friggin' love this game .

I'm doing this all over again for some achieves. If you have any steam, add deadmansprice (and damn, I wish Halo had Mr. Toots as well as Lost Planet. You know how bloody hard it is to kill the boss in the first mission.)

Edit: Also, in some ways, yes, Armageddon is ****loads better than RF: Guerilla, RF2 and original RF. It just depends on the opinion.

Do you need GFWL to play this? I know you needed it for the last one, and I hated it. Taking up memory and cpu and starting on pc bootup. Not to mention the difficulties getting the thing to run. Totally not worth buying if I'm gonna have to put up with that crap again.

This game is actually a bit better than the last game. how often can you use a Leo Rocket gun? or the fact that Nano rifle is now common? or if you recall the singularity bomb from RF:G, it now become a Singularity gun. XD

however, i have yet to use Mr. Toots.

But i miss the old days, when you could just blast a hole in the ground with some C4 and make better coverage or blowing a hole in the wall as a shortcut to other place or simiply to escape or barricade. XD
Games aren't the same anymore. Single Player games aren't appreciated. WHY!?
