Red Faction: Armageddon Message Board  

I cannot figure out what the issue is. I can use a trainer I download now, then 6 months or a year later when I decide to play this game again it does not work at all. I open the trainer, and before it even tries to authenticate, it errors out and I get the windows error with the 2 buttons to close it or check for a solution online, I can run it as admin, or with compatibility modes anything, or both and it does not matter. I have used it successfully in windows 7, and even redownloading the trainer does not help, this happens with not just this one but many other trainers from cheathappens. I have been getting really discussed about his fact. I have tried the offline authentication also. but like I said it seems to close before it tries because even when I disable my lan and have no internet, other trainers that are currently working from here authenticate and work, but this one and others do not work. I have been using the cursed trainer from haxor, but it causes armageddon to freeze at nearly every cutframe! but it was the only other one that provides no reload, and instant use of push thing or other nano powers. I love cheathappens trainers because they are the best, but when the decide not to work nothing fixes them.

noticed that steam showed a download related to this game, tested game, found that version info still shows 1.01, but trainer not working, however the new game plus option that was not working before is working again, so it seems they fixed the part of the game they broke, but just as an fyi, have have used this current trainer successfully in win10, now with run as admin on by default, and manually running it as admin, trainer finds game, options say activated, but none of the options actually work...
