I waiting for flamers, so bite me:

This game is sucks! It is looks like someone try to set it up for lamers: the whole keys built for console!
For God's sake, If I would play on console i didn't buy a PC!

The second thing is: i have the following rig
    B55 x4 (3.2 Ghz)
    4GB ram
    5770 1 gb
    SATA II hdds
and this bloody game is LOOKS LIKE a comics sometimes!

I think it was a waste of money.

Non-plus-ultra: If i want to play with trainer, why the CDProject try to acting against it?!(I meant PWizard mentioned that there are many anti-cheat stuff integrated inside.)It is kill my mind when i must deactivate and activate again the cheats after every cut-scene!
I appreciate Your work here guys, but I am crazy about the game manufacturers

your 5770 just won't do. I got 2x5770 crossfire and they barely make it with everything on low or medium and all effects off.

Better to reign in hell, than to serve in heaven.

    That's why i installed Baldur's Gate 2...
I am huge (sadly literally) fan of RPGs, but why it is unavoidable to do such hardware draining graphic for it? Of course i'm not questioning it needs to be nice...but hell with me if i obey of the viewable surface of a game instead of the contents.

I hope some1 will soon invent the telepathy and I can wave my thoughts and feelings to the CDProject-team...and let them suffer.

I honestly don't know, maybe it was the hype, people claiming this would be the best RPG ever, but I felt a bit let down. It is a good game, no question. But it has a lot of weaknesses. In addition, the boxing-WSAD-hitting and awkward-Arm-Wrestling just destroyed those parts for me.
I'm currently on my second playthrough, this time siding with Roche after Flotsam. But i don't expect the Story to be that different. Going to save Triss or Saskia seems like a big choice, in the end saving Saskia feels like the right one, since it doesn't change the relationship at all.

By the way, is there a list of the 16 different endings? Because if killing Aryan or not accounts for 2 of them, then DA2 did it ("simpsons did it, simpsons did it" *lol*)

Overall, i have the same feeling here that i had with Crysis. They increased the gfx quality, but the Story had to suffer for it.

Let's see how many people will bash my opinion here.

Weird... I have a decent PC (was the best when I bought it years ago), but not powerful by todays standards and the game runs great on high specs. Looks great to me.

I want to say that The Witcher 2 is one of the TOP Games to date.
I appreciate and support any company that strives to deliver a quality game to the market.

There are too many, that promise the Sky, and deliver plain ol dirt, With no repairs.

    That said:

I have always looked at RPG/Adventure Games as being an interactive extension to Books an Movies,
with story line immersion and playability being the TOP Priority.
Any one remember Text Only, Crystal Caves or Emon? Had to be STORY DRIVEN.....

Arcade Games on the other hand, are based on redoing the level, Beating the 97% Unbeatable Boss stuff.
With the main objective being to plunk more money in and try again.

Arcade Games are designed for a pound the keys 30 mins or more experience.(Consoles?)
Doing the same thing over and over in order to progress, makes a Arcade Game a different animal entirely.

I think the lines have become somewhat unclear or erased altogether in the Game Industry.(Console Ports?)
Due to lack of time, or profit motives, the easy way out is injecting arcade stuff,
which only serves to break the immersion, in a true RPG/Adventure Game!!!

Now remember, A RPG/Adventure is a Story (Like a Book) where you Control the Main Character in the plot.
Now does it make sense that as you read a story,
you get to a point where you have to turn the same page 300 times in order to continue? NO!

Granted that the Level Bad Ass must be Harder to deal with, but 500% or more?
I find this incredible For a story based RPG or Adventure game.
Expand the plot an Give him more henchmen, better weapons, ect. But keep a BELIEVABLE BALANCE!!
NOT pound the keys 30mins or more, doing the same thing over and over in order to progress the story line.

I want to live inside the Game, feel the story, not get thrown out of it.
So if you have to battle this Big Bad Ass to continue, Fine!
Just don't make him ARCADE SUPERMAN and totally out of balance within the world.
Involve some Brain Power with the plot, or give me a Op-Out button, before i loose my immersion!!!

What i really don't understand, is why After all the effort to pull you into the Game,
You blow it, by forcing me into a ARCADE Game when i don't want one.
REMEMBER THAT STORY IMMERSION SHOULD BE THE MAIN POINT IN A RPG/ADVENTURE GAME!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I Love the Battles an Combat aspect of games.
That gives you a good feeling to win, and helps to drive the story on.
But i loose that when i have to beat the ARCADE MINDSET to do it.

Why make things so overly complicated? It only detracts from the story immersion.
Why do you feel like you have to Handicap the player? "Again ARCADE MINDSET"

Example, If i have something in my pocket, but i cant use it if i am in combat? How real is that?
Why go to all the trouble to setup Graphics and Storyline, to put you into a REAL WORLD,
and then break things, so it feels "NOT REAL"?

In the real world, when faced with a life threating situation,
you will use anything you have to save yourself!!!

PLEASE KEEP IT REAL, OR MAKE YOUR ARCADE GAME SEPARATE!!!!(Consoles?)
