i am also getting this issue, i have followed the troubleshooting guide word for word...

uninstalled all antivirus so its not that, run as compatible, run as admin, downloaded a game fix, launched game first then trainer, trainer then game, loaded fully into the game and launched trainer.

All efforts seem to be futile.

will just let you know i have the downloaded version from steam, however i have attempted both trainers.

its just so confusing as all other trainers work fine.

    Anyone else got any ideas?

Edit: ok really weird, i have the most recent version of the game from steam (downloaded the other week) and to get the trainer to run i had to use the NON steam trainer with a lower version game fix?... dno how my game is even running, but its working. i hope this helps someone else
