That makes no sense, life is no game. :]

;For the thread, I didn't really see anyone defending Christianity.. So I think I got my idea. People kept on giving their thoughts about life and religions. Nothing else, thank you.

I could not agree with DABhand more. While religion may have had its good points (as stated by thrawn) nowadays it is often a barrier, a cause for violence, hatred, genocide, war, and corrupt politicians.

I do not completely reject the idea of having a religion, but it would be for the better if people kept it to themselves.

    My views on religion:

Believe what you want, just don't turn it into such a bold statement you do something totally darastic.

I am split in my religious beliefs. I go to a United Methodist (Christian) Church, but at the same time, I question some views in the Bible. For example, God was believed to have made two of every modern creature to start the world off. However, how does that explain the dinosaurs? I am an evolutionist as well, however, many things that relate to the Bible have either been found, or there is proof they exist. I, too, would like to further my study in this clash of beliefs.

Doesn't believing in God and religion kind of clash, or rather, blow each other up, with Evolution?

I'm not digging at you or anything, it's a genuine question.

@SoldierOfPeace: You make it sound like you came into this with an opinion already formed on what you were asking about, which defeats the purpose of research. Maybe I misread, in which case I apologise. But still... if you ask a question in regards to religion, people will give their opinion on religion as a whole, not just relating to a specific point.

I agree there's a surprising lack of support for religion other than Muslim, but that could simply be down to the general idea that if you defend your religion, you think you'll get flamed and mocked by everyone else. In the face of that, you won't say anything.

i agree. faith/belief is a very personal matter between u and ur belief system. if its strong enough u'll never feel the need/urge to turn into a chest thumping zealot or state how strong ur belief is publicly or be judged by other people.
