Fallout: New Vegas Message Board  

After hours on Google and forums, it finally came to me that the trainer would crash the game if Option 4 (No Reload) and Option 5 (Unlimited Ammo/Items) were turned on, especially when my PC has to hand over weapons upon entering casinos, shops or whenever items are removed (like during sex scenes ) or mods that require removal of weapons and items (a few nude mods do ). What I'm asking is, can this problem be fixed somehow in the trainer that would be compatible with those situations above? If not, is there a way I can still have unlimited ammo/items (a permanent mod or console command perhaps?) since I trade a lot and I'm also quite trigger-happy in shoot-outs? Thanks a lot

wouldn't it be just as easy to hit the button to max out your ammo after exiting any such places or scenarios and then turn it off so it doesn't crash the game?

Well yeah I did that too, but it turned out that turning those options on even ONCE would screw up the game. I turned on these options while playing, but BEFORE entering places like the Silver Rush or Gomorrah I had switched them off completely. Still, the game crashed. The thing is, I want to do 'naughty stuff' (meaning all items are removed) whenever I feel like it and then get out and shoot all the thugs . So much for free choice

there's a guy on the strip selling weapons that won't get confiscated when you enter the casino, alternatively when i went to the tops and went upstairs there was an elevator to a restricted area, i hacked it, took the elevator and when i got out all these goons started coming after me, i killed one of them, bare knuckled, cause i decided to not buy weapons from that guy on the strip, i then tapped the option to max out my ammo and then just used that the whole time, the cheat also works on certain items, so you can use it to make lots of money fast.

Just found out, for unknown reasons, the trainer also crashed the game when I decided to kill the King and his gang. Just walking pass the Kings' turf in Freeside with Unlimited Ammo on would also crash the game. I'm interested in knowing whether the whole Unlimited crash problem can be fixed somehow when a new version of the trainer comes out to match an inevitable game update on Steam.

my guide said to avoid killing the kings, i forget why though, i found that so long as you're using more than the unlimited health and carry items cheats your game will keep crashing.

Well, the more I play the game, the more crashes I get from this particular bug in the trainer it seems. The game would randomly stop out of nowhere sometimes. Turning the option on and off does help sometimes, but not ALL the time. Occasionally the game would just totally break and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to close it. Looks like the only solution at hand is to quicksave more often, but still you may have different choices in different quests that you want to change in certain saves. How frustrating

Hello,
In my opinion do not activate option 5 all the time, only on low ammo. Enable 5, Fire, Disable 5. (-> ammo up to 900).
On my computer I've found that having more than 900 of one item may increase Instability, so try selling all over 900.

When I use trainer i push 1, 3, 4, 5. (Hitting 5 to disable it because it was automaticly enabled when pushing 4)
