I also have the Steam Version of Batman:AA, I've tried the trainers available and I've also tried the update suggestion but ofcourse, It did not solve the issue with the trainer finding the Game and Activating. I feel since we paid to receive these members only trainers that we can keep them up to date at least, or acknowledge that it is not working on the Batman GOTY steam version 1.0 and Cheathappens.com never intends to offer a working trainer.

Guys, I found out a possible solution to the trainer hanging or not activating when using the Steam Version Batman AA and the Cheathappens.com Trainer.

I was using spyware doctor as an antivirus protection for my PC, I disabled it. When I ran Batman AA, I loaded the Trainer and "Game Found! Trainer Activated!"

I still need some sort of Spyware Malware protection so I reinstalled the Microsoft Security Essentials. With this program running, there is no hanging with the trainer or any other problems.

It was hard to come to this conclusion because the Dead Space 2 trainer was working while I had Spyware Doctor Running.

Perhaps this is a solution to your problem if you are Running Steam's Batman Arkham Asylum and the Trainer is not activating.
