At the moment if you have DA2 but not got the Black Emperium DLC, until the 30th April if you buy the DLC and include the Code at

    social.bioware.com/me2offer

And log into your account, and then add the DLC code you will get another Code which you can use to get Mass Effect 2 for free. Pretty Generous if you ask me.

And yes it does work for those who already have the DLC through Pre-Ordering etc, just use the same code you got and its all yours.

Thought I would say for those who don't like to receive mail from developers.

Honestly, I think EA/Bioware is doing this to push sales of DA2 because it has gotten such bad flack from so many gamers like no other Bioware game before, and rightfully so. Maybe the worst Bioware release ever. It also could be that they are pushing ME2 off as to get more people into getting ME3, out of fear it may not sell well because of what DA2 did, and that ME3 may just be even more streamlined and much less RPG, like what happened from ME to ME2. I am one of those gamers waiting to see what ME3 is before I shell out what will be $60 (EA's new price point for PC releases now).

DA2 is not selling anywhere near what EA thought it would and at this venture of it release timeline, it has fallen woefully short of were Origins was at the same relative timeline.

There is that possibility, but thats not the point of the thread is it :P

Just letting people know if they have DA2 and pre-ordered it or yet to get the Black Market DLC they can get ME2 for free if they don't have it.

Which is bloody good, no matter what reason.

What does the "Black Market" DLC, which is from Just Cause 2 of nearly a year ago, have to do with this thread's deal?

He meant the Black Emporium DLC. It's not that difficult to figure that out.
Meaning if you own Dragon Age II and Black Emporium you can get Mass Effect 2 for free if you haven't already.

    Ayy lmao

you can also get the fire power pack dlc for ME2 if you buy DA2 from the ea store now along with getting ME2 for free. Kinda leads me to believe even more they're trying to get the sales of DA2 up quick.

As ackbar said its that one, it is a black market in DA2 in a sense. Just I mistyped is all.

Dem marketing people are getting desperate, I've heard of dozens of people already returning the game for exchanges at gamestop. (Friend of mine works there) Tons of bad rep everywhere, a bit harsh, game was good, but 1 play-trough wonder, Even with a ton of mods, i find myself getting bored on my second play-through. Here's to hoping DA 2's 'awakening' will be much better.
An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
