you can get all patches for crysis 2 here at www.crymod.com

this sucks big time, when I try to install the patches it keeps telling me that the game is not installed on my pc. but when I look in my program files it shows it installed and I can play the game. I am running xp pro.

Yeah I had that problem too, what you need to do is uninstall the game and reinstall it in the directory that crysis 2 wants to install to originally ( so basicly you can't do a custom install to install to a directory of your choice ) so just do a normal install and it should patch fine, it did for me.

I have the Steam version of Cry2 and since the patch to the game, the new trainer version simply does not work for me. The original version did, but not the new one. Hit F1 from main menu get into the game but the num pad keys do nothing now.

Well patch 1.2 came out a couple of days ago, update it to that and use 1.2 trainer, if you have the problem can't find the game, then from the CD copy original Crysis 2 exe. worked for me
