Assassin´s Creed: Brotherhood Message Board  

I tried for a few hours last night to kill Borgia Captain on horse back with the crossbow and he just keeps running away and regrouping, can I kill him from a horse?

Or am I supposed to do it from a high up place like the tower near by?

All the youtube how to video's are for the xbox 360 console and I'm not sure if the samething can be done on the PC version

The videos should still give you a basic idea of what to do, but other wise, use your hidden blades and jump from your horse to his. That's what I did.

Have you tried to shoot the horse? :P

You can also shoot poison at horses and they freak out (Unless you don't have it yet.)

or call an arrows storm

Eventually I found that by far the easiest way to kill a captain quickly before he could escape is to just get close and call an Arrow Storm...musta tried one of the damn Borgia-on-Horse captains 4 times before I finally killed him...

best way is to shoot him before being noticed by the other guards

I finally beat him, I was on horse and tried to jump on the back of his, but got off my horse instead and used my hidden blade quickly, I pulled him off his horse and stabbed him quickly, I had practiced Assassinating the regular guards in the streets and had managed to jump on there horse and immediately get my blade into him, it was all so fast I didn't know what xbox buttons I used, I think x and a is used a lot on the controller. I believe it's the b key used to pull people off there horse!..

Need to practice my dismount assassination technic some more
