    Hello everyone,

The title says it all. I think its funny to see 200 horseman steamroll an entire line of infantry up like a carpet . On previous Total war titles this process was easy to do all you needed was to download 2 programs. The process for this is a little bit more complicated since there is no database editor out yet. Some people managed to edit the stats with the use of a hexeditor. If you are interested in editing unit stats i suggest you check out the following link:

    www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=433637
This is a tutorial that explains the process.

Download link for the pack file manager:
    www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=433370

The download link for the hexeditor program is posted in the tutorial.
This modification is tested and found working with 3241.0

Cavalry is kinda weak in this game imo, playin with Date clan, archers are overpowered and they just ream cavalry, in RTW and ETW i could destroy 2-3 stacks of enemies with a full cavalry army on hard.

Yeah true that's why im trying to edit it, i just finished editing the stats for the special Takeda clan cavalry units, im going to test it out and if it works i'll submit the file here as a new cheat.

If Pwiz decides its ok to put on the website, people will just have to download the file, go to their shogun 2 total war installation folder, then put the file in the data folder and start a new game with the Takeda clan. And then they will have 4 super cavalry units .

    I edited these 4 btw:
    Takeda Great Guards
    Takeda Yari Cavalry
    Takeda Katana Cavalry
    Takeda Bow Cavalry

I gave them all better armor, more attack damage, more melee defence and higher morale. For the bow cavalry i also increased the accuracy, reload skill and the amount of ammo that they have.

I submitted the file along with instructions so I hope it will show up on the cheatlist soon.

Just post the file and explanation here, its the same thing.

Download link for takeda clan: www.gamefront.com/files/20155393/mymod_unit_stats_land.zip

    1. download the file
    2. unpack the mymod_unit_stats_land.pack into your Shogun 2 total war installation folder\data folder (for example D:\Shogun 2 Total War\data)
    3. Start a new game and play with the takeda clan

When u start to play with the takeda clan and you want to recruit the edited units you need to build warstables and the bow dojo, yari dojo and sword dojo then you can recruit all of them. Those buildings schould be easy to build with the help of the trainer. These buildings require some research but you can use the research option on the trainer.

I recommend you start with the stable for warhorses and then the bow dojo the horsearchers are really strong.

    Have fun guys.
