i cant defeat matriarch benezia, even after i change the setting to casual, how do i kill her and not die from the asari commandos?

Keep distance from benezia and kill the commando's FIRST. Then attack benezia.

i've done that but she follows and i cant get far enough away before she kills both leiara and garrus

Wait, she follows you? Every time I fight her, she just stands in one spot (next to the Rachni Queen) and occasionally hits me with one of her biotic powers. Because of that I always thought the fight was too easy.
