There's a raw list of items/spells/creatures, that you could skim over the list, to find generic item abbreviations to search for (like gen_im_acc_rng_lore_03.uti, searching for lore).

    [url]gen_im_acc_rng_lore_03.uti'>Link list

That search btw, brings up a list of almost all items that create Lore Codex additions :P (IE good stuff :P)

    Your link is dead mate.

    Fixt :P
Also, another list I found very useful for creating custom gear, a list of the main stat codes. My personal favorite, is Celestial (removes attribute requirements on the item). Also, the 'ignores displacement', is useful for tank weapons (enemies can't dodge it).

here are some of the codes:
    1100 - (passive): Property - health
    1101 - (passive): Property - mana
    1102 - (passive): Property - attack
    1103 - (passive): Property - defense
    1104 - (passive): Property - stamina
    1105 - (passive): Property - critical chance
    1106 - (passive): Property - damage factor - critical
    1114 - (passive): +% Fire Damage
    1115 - (passive): +% Cold Damage
    1116 - (passive): +% Electricity Damage
    1117 - (passive): +% Nature Damage
    2000 - (On-Hit): Damage - Physical
    2001 - (On-Hit): Damage - Physical (AOE)
    2002 - (On-Hit): Damage - Fire
    2003 - (On-Hit): Damage - Fire (AOE)
    2004 - (On-Hit): Damage - Cold
    2005 - (On-Hit): Damage - Cold (AOE)
    2006 - (On-Hit): Damage - Electricity
    2007 - (On-Hit): Damage - Electricity (AOE)
    2008 - (On-Hit): Damage - Nature
    2009 - (On-Hit): Damage - Nature (AOE)
    2010 - (On-Hit): Damage - Spirit
    2011 - (On-Hit): Damage - Spirit (AOE)
    2100 - (On-Hit): Chance to Knockback
    2101 - (On-Hit): Chance to Stun
    2102 - (On-Hit): Chance to Reduce Speed

    2400 - (On-Hit): Bonus Damage to Humans
    2401 - (On-Hit): Bonus Damage to Qunari

No. You use the GFF editor to add those properties to your equipment in a save game.

I used these codes - they work - at least somehow.
Using the GFF editor isn't that complicated, but you need to know where to put the values in.
While I don't understand completely how the amount of each attribute could be set, I'll explain the way I managed to get some decent items:

    Get GFF Editor here:
    social.bioware.com/project/1936/

Open your save game folder, select the the one you want to play with, open the *.das file with the GFF Editor.

Click through the folders until you reach the SAVEGAME_EQUIPMENT_ITEMS - here you can see the items you char is currently equipped with. Select the item you want to work with by selecting the folder.
go to ITEM_PROPERTY - add a line with the editor and put in the code you want (see prvious post)such as 8000 for a new socket. Press the save button in the editor.
Open folder ITEM_PROPERTY_POWERS and add a line as well.
Here you will have to add the following code 1065353216 and it will give you the multiplicator (?) 1 on this attribute (this will always work).
    - Well and this is the part I don't understand completely how these numbers are set. But a 1073741824 will give you two rune slots?!?
    Any ideas anyone?

Save the hole *.das file in the original savegamefolder by overwriting the original one.

Load the savegame in the game.
