... which is crappycrapcrap.It locks up every time after the loading screen, but I could open my own server. SP works like a charm. Since 2 Million other users seem to have that prob, maybe s.b. is faster than me in finding the solution (or a forum where it's posted).


I'm using:
Steam DL version, Win7/32, AMD4x, Ati5770Crossfire.

Explain what you were doing when it crashed in MP.

it's pretty simple:

start the game
go to MP
get the server list
join a game
loading screen
bummer...
game crashes, no error message
me go


btw: setting don't matter, firewall doesn't block it, crossfire on/off doesn't matter, all my other steam/non-steam games work like a charm.

Looks like some sort of software problem, the game completely crashes without error message?

If so probably best to ask the developers themselves on why.

it's all over the steam forums. I guess it's some kind of connection problem with the servers. I can open my own server and ppl can join but I can't join other servers.

ok, i installed the game under my xp partition. No problem here, so it must be a connection issue under win7. Sadly, the game looks terrible under xp and textures are flickering like hell.
