Thanks for everyone answering my question about the game version. Now I've got another problem: Everytime I start the trainer, a window would suddenly pop-up and state that "Dragon Age II Trainer has stopped working".

Now I did all of the antivirus exception, running it as an administrator, firewall, etc. And it still says it's not working.

Here are my computer specs: Windows 7 Home Premium, i7 @ 1.6GHz, 8G RAM.

I've never had any problems with running any of the other trainers from this site and this the first time it has happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

When you start the trailer don't tab out of it right away. Give it a few secs to find the game and set up then tab into the game or launch it. It will crash if you just tab out of it. Wait till it says "run game and press F1..." at the bottom of the trainer.

You may have to turn off you a/v But if you can just turn off the resident shield. Now the firewall. You really just need windows and there should be no issues with that. Now if you are running anything else other than the game and the trainer you might want to disable them to.

hmmm curius indeed I only get a crash like that rarely but I just restart the trainer and it works. If ya followed everything in the troubleshooting bit and its still not working. Then am stumped.

I had the same problem. It had something to do with allowing ffdshow to be used. I suggest you download this package www.cccp-project.net/ , When I installed it I automatically got the opportunity to choose between four different options about using ffdshow when I started the trainer. Choose the option " Use ffdshow (always) ".

I hope this will help you, its worth a try. Good luck man.

Edit: If you try it out let me know if it worked please

Thanks. Finally got it to working. And I thought I've stuffed my gaming laptop for good. I'm off then.

    Thanks again.

    Cheers
