So I've finished the first playthrough of the game (spent almost 2 full days doing every single quest available). This game is quite something. It is certainly not DA:O's sequel but a game of its own.

I 'love' the new combat system: intense, fulfilling and... bloody. There are people claiming it to be easy or not tactical but I think it's quite the opposite. Try playing nightmare on PC without using cheats, you will understand. It took me 5~10 minutes to kill the High Dragon. And I mean continuous combat, not reloading over and over again.

The skill system has a natural feel to it. Better.

The story isn't too bad but I think it's shorter than DA:O and is a little loose. Mainly because you have to run around doing stuff but it's compulsory for games like this.

I chose to side with the templars in the first try. I'm playing with a warrior this time and we'll see how it'll turn out siding with mages.

Also, I hope mvil will come out with the list of items soon (even though I've already known where to get the Champion's armor set).
