On the station I'm watching Death toll has apparently made it over 1000.
It'll go a lot higher yet.
effects hit all the way over to santa monica.. which is pretty close to where i am
altho waves were only like 1-3 feet high that's still pretty intense for aftershock all the way from japan..
Yea high tides are expected to go from north to south here too, it's crazy how far the waves go, shows how much power was in the quake.
Death toll is rising unfortunately, its now around 350.
Sad days
its gone above a thousand(approx.). approximately 7 million homes without power and god knows how many in flames. sad really.
There's a potential nuclear problem as well. I think 2 reactors suffered some damage that's leaking quite a lot of radiation.
Ah snap, really? God, I hope they manage to contain it quickly.
