Dragon Age II Message Board  

right i have a problem with not just this trainer but the mass effect 2 trainer but not the dragon age origins trainer

basically when i double click the trainer to start on ME2 and DA2 they wont even start or open up but when i use the DA:O trainer it opens up and starts fine

i have disabled my firewall and virus protection so its not that and also run in compatibility mode and ran them as admin and still no luck

BTW im running WIndows 7

well it depends have you tried to bring up the task manager with alt ctrl delete and go under processes and click the description tab to organize the names by the description name and look for daoii.(username) and the same for mass effect one end the process and then try using them again might work let me know

sorry forgot to mention have already done that and what i saw was basically the trainer starts then after a few seconds it terminates

somethings not turned off. or needs to be un installed

I have a problem with trainers from here as well, sometimes. Just that I open them and sometimes they crash..but that's when I double click to open. It never crashes when I click them to select them and hit enter.

firewall off
virus protection off
microsoft security essentials off
UAC off

thats all i can think it could be taht might be causing a problem

What version of windows 7 do you have? Basic?

Someone told me once microsoft puts a limit of allowed active windows in the basic version.

I have a weird issue as well. After playing for a while (several hours), it seems that my Hawke no longer does any damage. If I switch to a party member, they do damage, then Hawke will do damage. But if I switch back to Hawke, he no longer does damage. If I close out the game and start it up again, he does damage again.

Very weird.
