So here's a question. Does DA2 function like Fallout New Vegas where it won't let you level if you don't spend all your points?

I know the trainer seems to add more than one skill point at a time so I imagine that at some point, you will run out of skills you can learn assuming you decide to just max it out early.

Anyone having problem with the new updated trainer? When I turn on the trainer, all my characters cannot swing any weapons they equip.

    The first release works fine.

New updated trainer doesn't work. As soon as I hit Numpad 1 for unlimited health the game crashes. I get the "Dragon Age has stopped working properly..." message.

The new trainer works for me. I updated DA 2 to the beta 1.01 (which is found in the technical support forum on the Bioware social page), patch and now I can use dx11. The trainer works great.

greenarrow2k6 & Doltish Have you to updated to the beta patch 1.0.1? Also are any of you playing through steam? If you are through steam there is no update yet! If you have not updated to the Beta 1.0.1 patch which states only use if you have the problems stated. Then do not use the new trainer.

You can hold on to your points indefinitely. You can as it all or as 1 point. The game will still progress. You are not locked in the Level up screen like FO3.
