Thus far I am impressed. It certainly is only a teaser, but it has me planning out my next few sick days from work to be certain! The steady inclusion of cinematics and battle really have me excited. Thus far these cuts have been able to draw me into the game like no predecessor has to date. Unfortunately, I can also see them getting tedious and exhausting as the game plays out, but I opt to enjoy them for now. Another aspect that appeals to me (and many of us knew was coming) is the "talking" hero. This is one apparent melding of DA and ME2 that has already created a vast improvement over Origins. It further envelops the player into the heart of the storyline. One last thought I have to list is the introduction of new cinematic style strikes inside the game-play itself. These impressive blows to your opponents, previously reserved for cut scenes, let you know just how bad The Champion (and his party) truly are... I cannot wait to play the full version... I've had it pre-ordered for about two months now though it seems much longer.
What are your thoughts on the demo? I am certain there are some that share my anticipation, but am equally sure that many have also been made to dread the upcoming release of the game itself.
That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.

I think it's going to be amazing, honestly. It'll be a framed narrative throughout the full 10 years of gameplay, and rather then waiting till the end your actions will have an instant result on the city so you can see the harmful and beneficial effects of whatever you do.

Its good they kept the voice actors the same as DA:O, I guess they would be foolish to turn down due to the success of DA:O.

But they made Flemeth look better, hopefully it won't all be a linear way forward in the game and we still have some kind of freedom of movement.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

After playing the demo about a dozen or more times... mostly just to see how different conversations played out... It's interesting to say the least. Think between the 3 classes Rogue and Mage will be played the most in our house. There was something about the Warrior that just... wasn't there.

The whole thing with Flemeth showing up again... That was a twist I didn't see coming, despite playing Witch Hunt. I never cared for her. It did bring up one interesting question I am rather curious if it will be answered in DA2... What the hell is she... My Warden took her out with a crit hit and drove her sword thru her skull to make sure she was VERY DEAD, yet here she is AGAIN...

Anyway something I've noticed a lot of people aren't picking up on is we're getting tiny glimpses into another BIG Bioware title that is just around the corner. If TOR grabs on to you and drags you into the story like DA2 does, which I have no doubt it will do. It'll be an amazing game as well.

Graphically, it's awesome, the gameplay is much better than DAO.
I was knocked down several times by ogre at my very first try in DA 2 demo .

I can't wait any longer, I've had it ordered for about two months I'll take my few sick days from work next month

You obviously diddn't spend much time gathering the storyline in DAO. It is explained there, I haven't played a game of DAO in a little bit so based on memory shes a demon or something close to that. Atleast that's what I gathered. Shes a mage that made a deal with a demon. As for the part where you drove a sword through her skull. According to the DAO story line, she cannot die. She will wander ti'll she finds a body to possess and as morrigan put it, probally will come find her.

As for the game DA2, I couldn't play the demo. I got to the config utility screen where it was configing whatever and would just freeze at 20% forever. I looked it up and there are quite a few people with the issue that couldn't resolve it. I removed the demo since I couldn't play it and saved myself a headache. Anybody else here have the same issue and fixed it?
