i know this is a noob question, lol, but how do i check the current version of the game? any help

i know this is a noob question, lol, but how do i check the current version of the game?
any help would be appreciated

Right-click game shortcut, properties, open file location, right-click "fallout3.exe", properties, details tab, version numbers in there (eg. 1.7.0.3)

If you got it through steam, you'll have to go direct to the game folder and look. It should be somewhere like:
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout 3\"
Again, get the info from the "fallout.exe" file as per the instructions above.
