Here's one I had last week. Past, I know, but fairly recent. Also, rather strange.
It started at my mother’s house. I was sat in the garden in shorts and a vest trying to tan a little. Then my grandma and sister were there, time skips, it became night time. Then early morning. Then I got out of bed and went downstairs, the house was silent and downstairs was deserted. I opened a curtain and it was dark outside… at 7.30 in the morning. In Summer.
So I walked outside, see the faint edge of the glow of the moon. Well, even in real life I like looking at the moon, so I walked so that it would be in full view.
What I saw was not just the moon. There was a damn good view of a planet right behind it, that resembled Venus slightly but was definitely not Venus. It was scarily close, bear in mind the closest planets to us look like stars.
Suddenly, I was in this room with lots of those folding chairs, like the ones in a cinema. People were gathered in there, and something was going to happen. We all looked up through a huge pain of glass at the moon, and the planet behind. Then, an asteroid (or a comet or something?) came hurtling towards us and crashed into the moon. Someone commented that this happens all of the time, and it’s not a big deal.
The moon split in two.
There was a lot of debris, and a second “moon” began to form, but it wasn’t the same. I’m fuzzy on this next bit, but the debris moved and made the Earth flat with two sides.
It has filled me with a terrible sense of dread.
(This is a copy and paste, since I posted it on another site first.)
