Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Message Board  

When I have the trainer on, it seems that my mouse and keyboard go stupid. They work intermittently and sometimes the game slows down or is choppy. Any suggestions?

I am running it with this...

EVGA X58 mobo
12gb of Patriot 1333 DDR3
i7 920(don't laff)
and an EVGA GX2 1gb vidcard

I'm having the same trouble. I have to punch the keyboard hard sometimes to get everything working. Happens more with Amazing and Noir. I've tried 2 different keyboards with the same results. I've also tried reassigning keys but no luck there either. I bought a new mouse and that's working better so I went ahead and ordered a new keyboard since both of the ones I have are kind of old. I'm not sure the trainer has anything to do with it, though. Everything with the trainer is working great. I've run the game with and without the trainer and I get the same results.

My system (yeah, it's getting up there in PC years)
ASUS M3N72-D
AMD Phenom 9600 Quad core
4GB DDR3
NVIDIA GT220 1GB GDDR3
Win 7 x64

v-sync seems to help, but it still runs like crap. :|

If you're using a "no-dvd" fix
Try:
Run CMD as Administrator
Type Bcdedit.exe /set nx AlwaysOff
Restart your PC

Reported to work for people with same issue.

OK, I've tried everything I can think of to get this piece of crap to work. New keyboard, mouse, graphics card, sound card (needed the upgrades anyway), turned off the music, downgraded the graphic settings in the game to extremely crappy mode and still can't get decent control of the game. Guess I'll get Web of Shadows out again to get my Spidey fix on. Oh well. More wasted money.

I found this only happens when the trainer is running. Playing the game on easy I have only died once so far, no need for the trainer imo.

if you punched the kb to work hah?
