You Can't blame the game makers for your inability to keep up with the technological world... get a better job, maybe then you can afford a better computer that can keep up with today's games. Myself, I bought an ASUS Gaming Laptop... It's played a lot of today's games at Max Settings. (Modern Warfare 2: Max Settings on a Full Server = smooth gameplay)... costs about 2 Grand, but it's cheaper than an Alienware and works just as good, and is fully customizable, i can take out the Graphics card and put in newer ones when this one cant play the games.

I agree that today's games are getting a lot more complex, but that's what the people want... the more realistic it is, the more it will be played. When I "stab" someone on a game, i almost want to feel the blood splatter my arms. Graphics cards can be an easy fix because they're cheap and keeps you from buying a whole new system... maybe some components need to be switched out... larger power supply... better Sound cards... etc... all of that is affordable.
