Clearly I'm not very good at this game if I can't beat the first boss (who turns out to be friendly, wtf?) on Normal difficulty. I died three times and was offerred the chance to play in Ninja Dog mode, and that first boss became MUCH easier. This is a testament to either my skill as a player in this game, or there's a very wide gap between Easy and Normal.
Anyway, is this one of those games where, if you beat it on Easy, it says "Haha you suck. To see the real ending, you have to beat it on Normal, and even then we only show half. In short, you must beat the game on Hard!" ?
