I dropped all of the purchased/found caravan cards I had in my inventory and the crashing got a lot better. Now I'm a member of the "My NV crashes randomly between 5 and 30 minutes" club. Which is a vast improvement over the "My NV crashes almost immediately and is completely unplayable" club.

After having turned on ThreadedAI, turned off Reflections and Refractions for water, got the DxD9.dll file, installed newest Nvidia drivers, dropped all the cards in my inventory, and even tried out windowed mode... it still crashes pretty constantly. I've made it a habit to hit F5 every 20 to 30 seconds while exploring or after every fight. To minimize what I end up doing over.

But there's supposed to be a patch, not a hotfix, in the works that corrects most every major issue found to date, and is supposed to stop the crashing for 90% of players. Here's hoping it hits us soon.

If you use the dll fix, DO NOT USE DUALVIEW aka 2 screens, it doesnt support it. Meaning you have to disable the one you are not playing on.

Im on the point of giving up this game for the time being, mostly through a game but the quest bugs annoy the crap outta me. I still have to use hours to plan my play what order to do quests and how before i spend an hour doing them so they won't break or some quests won't be unavailable. (Yes im a bit perfectionist i know)

Dual screens wont work yep and personly I think its a pain. But any hows. I am amazed people are having so many problems I have not come accross any except one the ghost ghoul lol. Plus I stick to a certin path, E.g. NCR first complete the game on NCR's side. then start again as another dude.
