I looked through all 44 pages, and some said the trainer didnt disable achievements.

But quick question again, sorry if it really is answered:

    1. Does it work still with steam?
    2. Is achievements still getable while using trainer? If yes, im gonna buy Unlimited right away and use it

    1. Yes the trainer functions perfectly with Steam.
    2. The trainer does NOT interfere with either achievements or goals / goal-related perks.

The only thing (as of now) that will prevent earning achievements is opening the game's cheat console. You can still use cheats, but you'll need to immediately save and close the game, then restart.

Also, certain console commands such as "God Mode" are being reported to conflict with the trainer. Probably because two items are attempting to perform the same function at the same time.

tl;dr the trainer is safe concerning the two issues you listed.

It should be noted that CHU cannot guarantee that you'll be able to get achievements in game. This means that it may be working now, but could be disabled in the future by the developer. We see a developer disabling achievements as much less stressing than them shoving patches to make the trainer not work.

    Your bitterness, I will dispel

I think the issue is with the DLC. Example: Currently doing Honest Hearts. game fails with the trainer running when, I try to grab a snow globe (any) and when Follows-Chalk leaves the party. Game locks up and fails...

I have a problem, at some point of the game i almost maxed my skills with the trainer, the problem is, once i gained some lvls i got extra points which i can't add since all of my skills are 100, and the game won't let me advance the skill menu and continue game because i have exta points.. what shall i do? Can the coder add some option to remove some of the points?

Two weeks ago I bought Fallout: New Vegas and instaled the latest trainer. Both were functioning smoothly until last night I began having game crashes (computer freezes with gray dots in lines overlaying the game view). The first time the crash occurred a couple of minutes after initializing the trainer. Subsequently I've tried the game several times with and without the trainer and it definitely appears to be induced by the trainer. I checked to see if Steam has put out a new update for the game, it hasn't, at least none that's listed, I've installted new video drivers and checked the validity of the game files, but the crash persists. Any suggestions?

Something has changed on your system within the time frame and most likely has to do with security software or anti-cheat technology by Valve or the game company.

Make sure that you have the trainer whitelisted in your AV and Firewall (alternatively temporarily disable them to make sure this is the cause). Also make sure that anti-cheating technology is disabled (these are usually installed as a Windows Service).

How do I whitelist the trainer? The trainer is installed on my hard disk, it gets verified whenever I initialize it, but I think the programs are actually already loaded in my computer. Would a firewall have anything to do with a program loaded in my computer interacting with another program loaded on my computer?
I don't recall ever installing anti-cheating technology. Where would I find it and what would it be labeled as?

You need to check your Anti-Virus and Firewall help files for how to whitelist files (aka Exclusion Rules). Most Anti-cheating technology is installed at the same time as the game in accordance to that game's EULA agreement.

I use McAfee Internet Security. I checked the Firewall settings, the trainers and the games have full permission status. The anti-virus scanner doesn't have the capability of excluding specific files. It can be turned on or off, scanning can be restricted to program files or extended to all files, scanning can be set to include tracking cookies, internet scripts, and spyware, and can be "extended" to include identify viruses by scanning threat patterns.
Where would I look for anti-cheating programs? Do you know if such programs were included in Fallout New Vegas?
