Oh I don't care about the achievements on the toon I cheat on, I do care about the second one when I don't cheat though, hence why I'm asking if modding one will turn off the achievements for my account for that game or just that toon.

Testing it now folks.

From my limited experience messing around with the console (saving, inputting a few commands, reloading), it seems that the disabled achievements are on a per-game basis.

I'm thinking it should be possible to use the GECK to create an addon that bypasses this, whether by removing whatever setting turns off achievements (assuming there is one that can be edited) or by triggering the proper AddAchievement command on a clean save.

I confirmed its only relevant to the save game in which you saved with codes used on it.

If you have a save before you used the cheats you get achievements again.

I also confirmed trainer still gives achievements.

I disagree ... I cheat because I want to get everything easier, including achievements... (In the end it all comes to personal gaming philosophy)

I am glad I found this thread... I was quite puzzled when level 10 steam acquirement was not activated... time to boot up a new game and use the trainer...

Hmmm. I cheat like this. Go into a game and use console to do what i want (get caps, lvl) etc. Then save. I exit the game, go back in and load. I then start the trainer. My achievements still unlock ;D
