Just tried my second game this time as the UK. Same problem.. deficit appears at -0.0 when i use the trainer but then i get kicked out of power due to worries about my deficit.. I know this game is a nightmare to use with a trainer but is their anyway to get the economic cheats working? Thanks

How can you guys make a trainer that you need to pay for that doesn't work?
I know this game is a nightmare to code, but frankly I used to be a member and was going to sign up again to get this cheat, however reading the forums I am glad I haven't.
As I said I know it's a pain to do, I hope you do eventually sort it out, however setting something for paying members only that doesn't work is just wrong.
It does work.
I does work but it is only cosmetic that the game is changed the people will still overtrow you even thought you are at 100% and even though you have no expenditure you still go into debt
Popularity is not the only reason you can be kicked out of office. You can also annoy specific individuals - such as your military chief - and you can do things that run counter to the policies of your party. That also will result in you being removed.
Policies that are too extreme also result in demonstrations, which can escalate to violence and result in a coup.
None of these have anything whatsoever to do with popularity.

So if everybody likes you you still get kicked, thats democracy
Can any one look into the fact that when you use the military units cheats on tanks or helicopters and then sell them you get no money for it
This isnt really the trainers fault.

Sure. You can be well-liked by the masses and disliked by the few that actually have power.
It's even easily provable that the popularity feature is working; when it's applied and you're at 100%, you are FAR better liked by various celebrities etc. Turn it off and they like you much less when your popularity falls back down.
Therefore, it is not a superficial change.
