Amnesia: The Dark Descent Message Board  

In the entrance to Cistern after setting all the valves and pulleys as per the walkthrough I can't lower at all the right hand platform it simply does not move. I tried to go up the other platform and jump (also as per walkthru) to the right platform but it is impossible. I tried twice to set up the right combinations in the Control room but to no avail.

Can anyone help ?

The problem lies in the arrangement of the pipes itself at the far end room. Try readjusting the pipes putting them in different holes, the pipe different from the other 2 pipes should be placed last covering the 2 vertically middle holes. As soon as u complete it, then a flash would indicate that you did the right placement of the valve, only then you can see the bridge outside had been lowered.

Indeed that's it, I was using the Trainer from here so I could Save Position, jump, CRASH and Teleport and I did it 10 times to no avail. Your fix is GOOD
