MODERATORSmileyJ posted on Oct 01, 2026 7:48:59 AMquote:originally posted by newvelaricEr... The launcher seems to cause problems for me too. I put it in the root folder for AC8 and when I tried to launch the game through the special Launcher:
- My wifi was turn off until I had to manually turn it back on
- Now, the launcher has created a virtual CD-Drive and tries to launch at every windows startup. And whenever I try to launch it through the virtual CD-Drive, nothing happens and the launcher and its virtual driver disappears.
Anyone else with these issues?Sounds you set the type of file to open as something it shouldn't. You likely have to go into your settings and remove whatever is set.
