On your end, still works perfectly for me.I did spend time on it but wasn't able to work out how they did it. It's saving data for EACH CHARACTER and then EACH CHARACTER RELATIONSHIP of that Character.
Also, what does this do for you in the game? What does it unlock or improve? I wasn't able to determine that either.

Cal to answer your query - Bonds levelling up allow you to get more perks for your team so when a Bond levels up the two people the bond is between get to choose a perk (e.g. more HP / more damage) that they then both receive. Hope that helps
