LinkChangelog 3.0.24.0
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General:
- NEW: A notification bell in the status bar now keeps a history of this session's notifications. Click it to review anything you missed or dismissed, and clear the list when you're done.
- CHANGED: Selecting "Show Steam info" for a game now opens the Steam store page inside Aurora instead of your web browser. On Steam Deck and Linux it still opens in your browser.
- FIXED: Corrected the wording used for "trainer" in several app languages.
- FIXED: Your settings could be lost if you shut down Windows while Aurora was minimized to the tray; Aurora could also briefly block the shutdown.
Trainers:
- NEW: When a game's anti-cheat (such as Easy Anti-Cheat or BattlEye) is blocking the trainer, Aurora now shows a clear message asking you to disable it, instead of a generic activation error.
- NEW: Cheat options with a slider (such as the Slow Motion / Super Speed modifier) now let you type an exact value instead of only dragging the slider.
- FIXED: Aurora could crash if the game closed at the moment a trainer was being activated.
- FIXED: A trainer's "Disable all hotkeys" option now also disables controller button hotkeys, not just keyboard hotkeys.
- FIXED: Choosing "This version" when favoriting a trainer now keeps that version even if the game was already in your favorites; previously the favorite could still open the latest version.
- FIXED: Turning off a trainer's "Remember active cheats" option now stops those cheats from being automatically re-enabled on the next launch; previously they could keep activating regardless of the setting.
- FIXED: Some cheats could fail to activate because of a script issue with certain jump instructions; these now apply correctly.
In-Game Overlay:
- NEW: The overlay has been redesigned. Sections now sit in an icon sidebar, so nothing gets cut off on narrow windows; hotkeys are shown as badges next to each cheat, one-shot cheats get a clear "Run" button, and the connection status moved into the title bar.
- NEW: You can now pick the overlay's accent color from swatches in its Settings. The new default is the Cheat Happens amber; the previous gray look is still available as "Steel".
- NEW: The hotkeys that open the in-game overlay - both the keyboard combination and the controller button combo - can now be changed under Settings -> Trainers. Changes apply immediately, even while a game is running.
- CHANGED: The Steam Deck overlay and its number pad were restyled to match, with the LB / RB buttons for switching tabs now shown directly on the tab bar.
- FIXED: A packaging issue caused recent releases to ship an outdated version of the in-game overlay, bringing back crashes that had already been fixed - most notably a crash in some Unreal Engine games (e.g. Nuclear Epoch) when alt-tabbing or when the game changes its display mode. The overlay now ships with all current fixes again.
- FIXED: In Vulkan games, the overlay could lose its font and show a garbled logo after the game changed resolution or toggled fullscreen.
