Prior to the new version of Aurora, the Balatro trainer worked with Steam/Linux/Proton & running Aurora via SteamTinkerLaunch. Now when I try to activate the trainer it fails, and AI Diagnosis says:

`Script injection failed for "Create Mutex (Activation)" during trainer activation on Steam. Game v14235838 - hf. The script error indicates that the trainer is trying to call a Windows API function (kernel32.CreateMutexA) which is not available on the Linux/Steamdeck platform, causing the failure.`

I'm not sure if my usage is a supported use case or not, so I don't know if I should be posting this in the Balatro message board. I'm hoping for clarification on whether or not there is a way I should be using Aurora to work with Balatro on Steamdeck/Linux.

I am getting this error for most of the trainers on Steam Deck after the new Aurora. You are not the only one with this problem. Still not working for 3.0.7.0 even after I factory reset the Steam Deck and reinstalled Aurora.

I have tried multiple proton version. 9 / 10 / 11 / experimental / hot fix. No difference. The same injection error occurs.

I'm having the same issue on CachyOS, using the Steam Deck tool. For me, the game that stopped working was Hades 2. It worked fine before the Aurora update, and now the injection fails. I did a full uninstall/reinstall of Aurora itself and the compatibility tool, but the same issue remains. I've tried a few other games and they worked okay, so it seems like it's only certain games?

Just to update. Have installed Aurora 3.0.8.0. Injection problem still exist. Below is the error message. Just to highlight that before AuroraAI the trainers were working perfectly.

    "
The trainer failed to activate due to a script injection error related to calling kernel32.getcurrentprocess which cannot be compiled in the Steamdeck/linux(proton/wine) environment. The AOB scanner diagnostics show no pattern scan failures, indicating the trainer scripts are intact, but the environment does not support this Windows API call. This is an Aurora-side compatibility issue with SDL2 and script execution under Wine/Proton on Steamdeck and not a trainer problem."

Thank you. I was able to reproduce the issue on Hades 2. The issue only occurs in Proton. Fixed 3.0.9.0 will be posted soon.

@guwester: Same for you, 3.0.9.0 fixes it

Happy to report that the injection error has been fixed with the new version 3.0.9.0!

Now that the trainers are working, another bug has surfaced. When the trainer is activated and you switch to the aurora page. The controller input does not work anymore in the game. The game continues to run but can't control the game.
