They game devs have broken the trainer again - "failed to activate the trainer because a script failed to inject" 😡

So, I'm reverting to 1.17.0 🙂

This game is either:

going to go into early retirement
be put on hold
or we are going to remove the options that the developers are clearly breaking over and over with their ridiculous patching.

No ETA, no hurry.

If you want to play the game using trainer and it still works until then, then google how to use the steam console and revert back to older version.

We don't have 45 hours a week for one stupid title that apparently was released in early access alpha condition.

Ridiculous.

no ETA. It's on the list, but we have 20,000 more titles here and this one game is becoming a gigantic waste of time as it breaks and patches within hours or days and a time sink.

:P lol, given their track record it was inevitable, what sucks (for me at least) is that I was already at 100% so I was just having some fun between now and DLC but I guess that's over

Yeah, I sense this title being retired very soon.

They patch this title 10 times a month, utterly broken.. then decide to drop a DLC onto the paying public... who are all to happy to buy more broken.

We are being transparent about why the trainer stops working, and also why we are no longer spending 20 hours a week on this one title.

Yeah I get it, and I just mean waiting on their planned DLC for the game itself, not for using a trainer or mods on the DLC. I only use mods and trainers once I've completed the main story in a game for things like unobtainable items due to broken systems, to get through full completion more quickly, and to try out fun mods. It's already frustrating enough to be using a trainer one minute and then having it broken the next... I'm sure it's a million times more frustrating to spend time getting a trainer working only to have it broken again 2 seconds later. That would certainly make me abandon the game

Bless you guys and your patience, I know how obnoxious Pearl Abyss has been with it's update cadence for the game. The work you put in to update the trainer for this game is not unnoticed.
