Unzip and take the file:
dinput8.dll
and put that file into the game directory, usually here:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL requiem BIOHAZARD requiem
Run game through steam or whatever your platform is
You can see if the .dll is working to create the bypass if you see the RE Framework menu show up usually the upper left (says REFramework)
Activate trainer.
Loaded into game. Tried all options. No crash on activation, no crash with options.
For SOME crash on activation MAY be due to the trainer overlay just not compatible with your graphics card or something. You CAN turn that off in Aurora.
We made the decision to move to the public bypass because it may work better for all the various platforms out, including Japanese, EPIC, etc.
Highly likely our trainer ALREADY works for EPIC and many other platforms.
We would HATE to spend another $60 on this game just to see it's already working. SO PLEASE be sure that it isn't before reporting issues.
This is literally the steps. It's easy.
in steam too only the first version works

I followed your instructions and I've been playing with zero crashes including 4 hours early this morning. I came back later to play some more and got a fail with this msg as soon as I hit F1:
14:55:41: Resident Evil Requiem, 03-02-2026 (STEAM), Last modified: 03/02/2026 10:20:44
14:56:52: Successfully attached to re9
14:56:53: Seed = 189437
14:56:55: Collect CP Address, Script error in line 4: Cannot find aob for 'Collect_CP'
Redownloaded the dll file from praydog and restarted computer to no avail. Same error. Tried an earlier save and got the same fail. Verified the data and all files (414) validated. Not sure what else to try other than a reinstall.

Does your game version match the trainer version?
Are you playing on Steam Deck or a Windows machine?
Are there any special instructions that need to be followed?
If the instructions say to place a launcher in the game files, have you replaced the launcher file?
Are you running Aurora as an admin? Not doing that can cause issues for a lot of trainers.
Did you extract Aurora as opposed to just running it?
Have you reinstalled/verified the game files?
Have you restarted your computer before trying the trainer again?
Have you set the antivirus exclusions for Aurora?
Have you followed the readme instructions?
Are you running the newest version of Aurora?
Are you opening the game from a supported launcher? If so, what Launcher/Platform?
Are you playing a beta version of the game?
Are you using mods?
Have you activated the trainer where the readme says?
Could you provide a save file?
-to upload or share a save game, you can put it in a zip file and then upload it to your post or upload it somewhere else and then share the link here. Please be sure to provide the file path of where the save file should go.
Are you able to get the error message/issue on a new save?
Are you running a preview/test version of Windows?
Thank you all for the awesome work! Quick question — can someone explain how the “Play Time” cheat code works? I’m trying to finish the game in under 4 hours… but I also kind of want to explore everything. Yes, I realize I’m trying to have it both ways. 😅
Wondering about this as well. The time still seems to be ticking when the option is active and you check the challenge progress.
So I went full mad scientist with the “Play Time” option in the editor. The numbers were bouncing up and down every second, which definitely didn’t seem like it was doing what the label promised. 😅
Then I thought I’d get clever and combine it with the Freeze Time cheat… and the game basically replied, “Cool, enjoy 99 hours forever.” Now the number is completely stuck and won’t change at all.
At this point I have absolutely no idea how I’m actually supposed to lock the playtime under 4 hours for the achievement. 😓
