Our Mass Effect 2 Trainer is now available and supports ORIGIN.
Our Mass Effect 2 message board is available to provide feedback on our trainers or cheats.
I downloaded the me2 trainer and it wont open. The icon doesn't have a cheat happens symbol and when i try to run it, it says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path,or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item." Anyone help? I'm on my admin account on my pc.

It may be that something is blocking the trainer, like firewall, UAC or Antivirus.

Have you even tried disabling your AV? What have you got to loose?
It doesn't happen with all the trainers, I only get the message for the odd one.
Baby, don't talk to me, I'm trying to let go. Not loving you is harder than you know.. Cause girl you're driving me so crazy... And if you don't want me then, I guess I'll have to go.. Not loving you is harder than you know...

Brent, you haven't supplied any information about what kind of system you are trying to run this trainer on.
There is a huge variation of problems and solutions depending on what your base system is.
I don't understand why it doesn't occur to people that this might be important. If you wanted to fix your car you wouldn't call a car part supplier and say; "I'd like a car part."
Having said that, the fact that you cannot see the correct icon for the trainer almost certainly suggests that something that you have already running in the background is locking the file and stopping it from being accessed. The icon information should have been resolved by your OS as soon as you accessed the directory it is stored in, and without needing to executing the file. The fact that it hasn't makes this extremely likely that an antivirus program has mistakenly locked the file.
If you want to validate this properly you must turn the antivirus / antimalware application off COMPLETELY BEFORE you unpack the trainer from the downloaded zip file.
It's not enough to simply turn the AV element of the program off right before you click on the trainer, at that point the AV app will have already locked the file.
Make sure you understand the risks of turning your security software even briefly.
I can tell you that I've never had a issue or concern about a trainer from here, and I have a very secure setup.
