how do you destroy it i try shooting it and nothing i try everything else aslo

Got the same problem, obviously something to do with the trainer (I had god mode enabled for both myself and rescuees), but not sure exactly what the deal is. Game sucks anyhow....

its classified as a weapon so turn off durable weapons and it will take damage it will be slow though.

Yeah, I just saw it! Should have read the whole thread before i posted!

its if you got durable weapons on, just shut it off keep unlimited ammo on and use a gun/shotgun/MG it will not get destroy'ed since it has unlimited ammo works for me

I know the anwser to that, i find it verry wired.
With the trainer on and everything shoot some explosive down in the ground, when your body hit the drill it will destroy.

Try it out, i can guarantee that it works

I'm having the same problems here in the game and suspected that using some of the trainers options like durable weapons/god mode was the cause. I turned off the option but still couldn't damaged the drills. I even ran the game without the trainer loaded in my latest save and still no luck. I fear using the trainer has damaged my current game session.

I also have that chick Danni I rescued from the wedding with me, do I need to return her to the safe house before tackling these drills?

Not necessarily, you can still have some survivors with you while doing main story missions, only some not all. After the cutscene she should still be with you. If not, try decreasing time of day.
