Where is the editor ? on Civilization 5 PC Message Board - Page 1

Hi I know this might be silly question but I could not find the editor to draw maps. I am using steam version. Any help will be appreciated, thanks

Civ 5 is planned to have a full SDK set of tools including WB (World Builder) that will allow you to create any custom map your heart desires.

So where is the "world Builder" located ? How do I run it ?

It was "planned" meaning that it's not out yet, or I just don't know that it's out yet. My guess is 1 month after the launch they'll try to release a world editor if they feel like it.

According to one of the CMs over at 2K Games they're trying to have it out next week.

It doesn't look like it will be integrated into the game itself. Shame. I liked that. I don't want to have to open a separate program to world-build.

It is PLANNED... no release date specified yet and a plan doesn't mean it will ever be released.

Considering its been designed for great customisation and modding capability (aka lua and xml format for most files) and stated by the Community manager that it'll be out sometime next week, it would be kind of stupid for Civ V not to have it.
