I'm having same issue as Easy_506th running steam version of the game 1.0.1.674, avg antivirus disabled, trainer running as administrator. i hear the "trainer activated" it reads "game found! trainer activated" but nothing works.
Hey Hey Igro,
Same issue here man, all I can say is I hope the gods amongst men manage to fix it for us.
i bought game of the year edition Steam i can't seem to get Trainer to work. my AVG is deactivated. That is not causing the problem. Everytime i try to activate trainer Game crashes. i have latest update so im unsure wtf is going on.
Did it come installed with DLC? That could be a problem or the GOTY edition may have a different exe.
Sid Meier's Civilization V: Game of the Year
All 4 Cradle of Civilization Map Packs (Mediterranean, Asia, Americas, Mesopotamia)
Civilization Pack: Babylon (Nebuchadnezzar II)
Double Civilization and Scenario Pack: Spain and Inca
Civilization and Scenario Pack: Polynesia
Civilization and Scenario Pack: Denmark - The Vikings
Explorer’s Map Pack
Official Digital Soundtrack
Thats what you get with Goty.
We only have the original game and the Gods and Kings expansion. We will not be supporting any other versions or combinations. If you have Gods and Kings installed, you need a separate trainer.

Also, as some other people have stated, you should try activating the trainer once in the game instead of at main menu.

gods and kings expansion is merged with main game so, steam version, none of the trainers works for me, all says activated but after the god and king update today it didnt work anymore with any trainers, i got all the additional packs and expansion pack, trainers seem outdated since new update today

(I even enabled compatibility mode and ran as administrator)

CHU does not provide support for pre-release versions of Windows. You should have taken the warnings Microsoft posts about this much more seriously if you do not have a method to rollback to Windows 7 or earlier.
