I started using trainer today and also experienced save game corruption. Prior to that everything worked fine, i was able to load any save games from starting ages to modern. No - i don't know which option exactly corrupts save games.
Yes - game also crashes if you try to move unit more than 15 tiles with unlimited movement cheat.
Policy points cheat should be 1000 instead of 100 (you need more than 10 000 points in later stages of the game, so you have to click more than 100 times to get new policy point, making it thousands of clicks overall -_-) and money cheat should be lowered to 10000, but thats not really important.

Same issue with the game crashing with the move cheat.. Tried sticking to the small moves deal but am getting screwed by mountains making a few moves 15+ to "go around". Ahh well, apart from that the trainer is great!

The move cheat was what I suspected was corrupting it also. Here's what I think happened.
I had left on the move cheat, while I clicked on a worker who was set to be automated. I think this corrupted things.
What doesn't make sense though is why none of the older saves wouldn't load. Not sure if something is getting stuck in memory, although it shouldn't if I do a restart, right?

Not sure whether it's the trainer that's causing the crashes or the game itself. Both the game and trainer are very new, so I think we will know in about 6 weeks time once a few patches have come out. Either way, it's a cracking game with a cracking trainer. Thanks for the effort you guys put in!

Also with the saved games do not save while it says Please Wait when it is figuring the other players turns. The save gets corrupted. I have no idea why they would let you do so while in that state. Best time to save is at the end of your turn before clicking next turn.
Trainer works fine for me except the same mentioned problem with the movement. Also I noticed that the Manhattan Project Wonder was the only building that did not work with the Building points option.

scythe,
confirmed, I did the same thing.
I had the move cheat enabled, and then I wondered what would happen if I press automatic on a worker while it's enabled. The minute I pressed, I knew I made a mistake, and a few seconds later the game crashed.
Yeah no big deal, you can restart, just don't load the last automated save.
edit: btw, other than the single crashing incident above I used all trainer functions and played a full game on huge map without any problems loading and saving multiple times.

Unlimited movement is so good. On a Worker it allows to instant build any improvement, and keep building as much as u like all tiles in 1 turn ^^ With Siege Units u can prepare without costing turn. My Scout have completely removed fog of war in 1 turn, he may have run on all tiles of the map. So far I can confirm if u manually control your WORKERS/Scout/Workboats unlimited moment will not crash u. SO DON'T AUTOMATE ANYTHING.
