Yep, I'd agree with this. My only criticism is not the difficulty of the game, as I was playing my first playthrough of any Uncharted game on Hard, so OBVIOUSLY it would be hard, but was instead the melee combat.While it's just fantastic, and one of the greatest melee combat systems I have ever seen, you can just spam the Triangle button and you'll never get hit. When an enemy goes for a swing, you can press triangle and dodge it - but you can mash Triangle throughout the fights and never get hit. But that's my only problem with this near-flawless game. Heck, I'd go as far as to call it flawless - spamming triangle helps you avoid all sorts of damage, and if you don't want to, then don't.

I honestly cannot see why everyone loves this game so much. I could never get into it and honestly the game-play is shallow to me. Oh look, spiders, button spam. Oh look I have no guns ,melee fight, button spam. Oh look, enemies, repetitive cover and shoot. The story just seems like an action variant of national treasure. Some of my friends love it, some of my friends hate it. I have tried every single game in the series and beaten them despite my distaste of them, so I am not ill-informed. Please explain to me how the game is interesting at all. I would personally give it a 3 overall, but I won't insult anyone by affecting it's perfect score.[Edited by MrAnonymous, 11/27/2011 4:31:36 PM]
