Spatterhouse is worth a rent at the very least maybe even a purchase. I had none of the troubles with the combat system. My on gripe with splatterhouse is that its very linear. But it still has a good story and many humorous moments. If your a fan of gore games then splatterhouse is worth the rent. I've been playing video games since pong. So I stand by my word that splatterhouse is a solid 8 rating. Clear this is one of the most underated games of the year.
