MISSION 3 - THE BJARKHOV BOMB  

Assassinate Fabian Fuchs
Assassinate Commander Bjarkhov
Destroy dirty bomb production capability
Escape via cargo plane

Fabian Fuchs, of the international terrorist family, has been sent by his brothers to purchase a dirty bomb from weapons dealer Commander Sergei Bjarkhov.

Assassinate both men and destroy their bomb production capabilities.

The deal is going down at a reconditioned submarine supply depot on the Kamchatka Peninsula. We can smuggle you in on the same cargo plane that's bringing Fuchs and his men to make the buy.

You'll have to get out of their the same way. We've got a mole on the base, an ex-KGB operative working as a chef. Choename Yurishka. He can fill you in on some of the particulars.

We don't know what the Fuchs brothers want with a dirty bomb-just make sure they don't get it.



You start the mission hiding behind a large crate on the cargo plane. View Screenshot Wait for the guard in front of you to start walking out of the plane, then turn to the left, and run to the rear exit of the plane. Run past the orange ladder and go outside. Run up to the barbwire. View Screenshot Follow the barbwire to the right. Keep crouched while moving, or run in sneak mode, otherwise you risk being spotted by several guards. If you keep following the barbed wire, you will finally come to a large tower. View Screenshot Open the door to the tower, and walk straight a very small ways. You'll see a ladder leading down. View Screenshot Take it.

At the bottom, you will see a wooden door on your left. Enter sneak mode, and go through it. Go through the next wooden door. You will now be in small room, behind a guard. Pull out your Syringe, and give him a dose. View Screenshot Don't worry about hiding his body; just take his clothes. Once you're disguised as the guard, go back up the ladder, and exit the tower back into the snowy outside.

View Screenshot Back outside, you'll want to head left. Follow the plane until you get to the ramp that is open. When you get to the end of the plane, look right, and you'll see a building. This is the mess hall. View Screenshot

 

Do not run, at all, inside the mess hall. Always walk. After entering the mess hall, turn left and walk into the kitchen. View Screenshot Speak to the man; this is Yuriskha. After he talks to you, search the nearby counter to the left of the stove for a bottle of Laxative. With the laxative in hand, go over to the pile of soup. Make sure that the cook is out of the room, or not facing you, and pour it into the soup. View Screenshot Leave the kitchen, and walk to the bathroom door; it's the small wooden door to the right of the large flag on the wall, in the main area of the mess hall. Once inside, walk to the back right corner, and face the stall. If you've been walking like I said, and nobody has looked at you funny, then you'll be by yourself, and the guard by the fireplace won't follow you in.

We now have to wait a little bit. Franz Fuchs will ask the cook for some soup, and the cook will bring him out a bowl from that pot you poisoned. After he eats it, he'll run to the washroom. Wait for him to sit on the stall, then bring out your pistol and kill him with one shot to the head. View Screenshot Take his clothes and leave the stall. Now that you are no longer disguised as a guard, you won't have to worry about the guard you knocked out in the tower reporting you. When he does, everyone will be looking for a suspicious guard, but you've ditched that uniform.

Back in the mess hall, you will be approached by a soldier who is to escort you to the Commander. View Screenshot Just follow him. Don't fall too far behind, or ditch the guard and run to the tram yourself, or he'll open fire on you. He won't even become suspicious, he'll just attack. He'll lead you out the back door of the mess hall (through the kitchen), and will take you to the tram at the far end of the base. View Screenshot Once you get on the tram, flick the switch to engage it.

When the ride is over, you emerge in the second area of the base. View Screenshot Hop off the tram, and take the stairs to the ground. You want to head to the left, to the large ship that is docked. View Screenshot

 

When you get to the entrance, these two guards will tell you the Commander is expecting you. View Screenshot Enter the door just behind them, and go through the second door on your right. Run up the stairs, through the door at the top, and hang a right. Enter the only door in here, a blue one, and you'll wind up on a deck. The two guards will frisk you, and if you have any weapons, they will remove them. View Screenshot Run past the guards, and enter the first door on your right.

You are now in the Commander's room, and he will come up to hug you. View Screenshot After the conversation, he will turn around and walk to the table. Do not pull out your fiber wire yet, because he will turn around in a "Are you sure you don't want a drink?" look. After he looks turns back to the drinks, strangle him. Walk over to the table, grab the Master Key, and leave the way you came. Run back outside, along the deck, down the stairs, until you're back on the ground outside the boat.

Back outside, follow the mountain to your left. Soon, you will see a small camp. View Screenshot The large warehouse at the far end is your target, so run toward it. Be sure to avoid the guards, especially if you're running, or you may become suspicious. Once inside, head to the first alcove on your right. View Screenshot You will see a radiation suit. Change into it. View Screenshot Exit the warehouse the way you came in, and run straight across, past the sunken plane, View Screenshot, toward the submarine.

Near the submarine, follow the deck. View Screenshot You will soon come to a hole in the side of the sub, which will grant you access. View Screenshot Inside the submarine, take a right, and go through the open doorway. Hang a left inside, and grab the bombs off the small crate. View Screenshot Leave the submarine through the hole, return to the wooden walkway, and take a left. At the end of the walkway is a ladder leading to some ice surrounding the sub. Climb down.

You now have to place three bombs.

Once all three bombs are placed, return to the ladder, go up, follow the walkway, and run all the way back to the tram. Do not ride the tram; just run along the tracks, because it's much faster. Pull out your trigger and detonate the bomb when you reach this spot. View Screenshot Activate the trigger, and say bye-bye to the submarine. View Screenshot Run through the remainder of the tram tunnel, and keep running. When you come back outside, head toward the plane you started in. View Screenshot Inside the plane, run to the back, where the ladder is. View Screenshot As you near the ladder, a cutscene takes over. Mission over.

Congratulations, you've just beat the third mission. With your Silent Assassin rating, you have unlocked the Silverballers Silenced.
