What's new in version 1.2:
Fixed some typos, and made some directions clearer.

THE CHILD IN THE FOREST OF SILENCE

You start the game by getting a briefing of your mission. Walk along the bridge to the other side of the river and climb the brick ladder. Head through the pathway in the forest until it dead ends to the sealed castle gate. Break the sealed crest with either your gun or you sword and fight your first battle with the ape-skeleton boss. After the battle, walk across the bridge to your left at the end to the save crystal and save your game. Collect all of the goodies from the four torches and break away the dirt from the statue in the middle of the stone gazebo. The sign on the statue says, "The sage points to the right path." Jump across the chasm to the left of the statue and activate the gate lever switch. After which you will have a quick battle with the mid-boss Weretiger. Collect the gold and the power-up and jump back across the chasm past the sage statue and keep going through the now open gate. The torch in the pathway holds an ax which will be your first chance to collect a secondary weapon unless you get one from a defeated ememy. Keep heading forward until you come to the pit with the 2 momentarily lever- activated rising platforms.

Go around the pit past the first switch to the second one. Behind the second switch is a chasm with a brick ladder that seems to dead end. At the bottom where it dead ends shoot directly into the mountain with your gun (or sword) to reveal a passage tunnel. Take the tunnel to the other side to a brick ledge where stands the first hidden child. After talking to the child you will see another platform to jump to. Jump onto this platform and then jump down to the island in the river with a gate-lever (This is a shortcut it will save you a lot of time by cutting off a huge chunk of the level and having to climb back up the way you came in, activating the two rising platforms and fighting the second pit mid-level werewolf boss). After activating the gate lever, climb up the other side of the chasm brick ladder to the top. Collect the goodies from the torches, avoid the pit, save your game at the save crystal and procede through the now open gate to finally fight your last battle with the ape-skeleton boss.

THE CHILD IN THE CASTLE WALL

After saving your game, head straight to the left tower completely ignoring the right one. Proceed to climb the tower until you get to the green spiked rotating platforms. Look to your your right to the giant pillar in the middle of the tower and there you will see the second child on a ledge in the middle of the pillar. After timing the platforms, run out to the second green platform and jump to the ledge where the child is. After talking to the child, you are going to wonder how the heck to get back to the ledge. There is no need to worry because you can walk on an invisible platform back to the green rotating spiked platforms. Do not, however, walk all the way back on to the spiked platforms, because the invisible walkway stops just shy of the platforms. So after you get about 8 steps from the rotating platforms, JUMP to them, otherwise you will fall, plummeting to your death. You now have a choice of either climbing up the ledge to the top of the tower, or climbing back down. They both take about the same amount time, but my suggestion is to climb to the top of the tower for the simple fact of collecting more items.

THE CHILD IN THE VILLA

After fighting the hounds of hell, proceed to the front yard of the villa. Climb the fountain to get the goodies and save your game at the tombstone save crystal and enter the villa. After entering the villa do not climb the stairs. Carefully walk around the stairs collecting items from the candles. Exit this room to the door on your right. Get the roast chicken from the candle and save your game. This exit leads to the garden maze. Procede through the gate down the extremely long pathway collecting items from torches and fighting skeletons on motorcycles along the way. When this pathway ends, there will be a gate in front of you that you cannot enter, and a door on your left. Go through the door on your left, until you reach a part of the maze where you can turn either left or right. Turn left, then right and you will end up at a watchtower with a big shrub staring you in the face.

At this intersection, make a right, then left and there will be a white stone carved arch to your right, and the rose garden straight ahead of you. Enter the arch to save the child. After talking to the child leave the arch and turn left, then right and you will be back at the guard tower. Heading forward, go around the tower to a door that connects you to the second half of the garden maze. Proceed through the door and you will see the second guard tower in front of you. At the guard tower, make a left, this will lead you to another door to the irrigation stream. Head right jumping over the bridge until the stream dead ends. On your right is a torch with roast beef. Head back to the bridge. Turn right into a room with a torch containing a purifying crystal. After saving the game head down stairs to the basement. Collect all the items from the torches, and at the end of the room is the infamous coffin teleporter.

Since Henry is limited to 7-days to save all 6 children, they made this section of the game more challenging by making the teleporter activated by the time of day.

If you jump into the teleporter between 12am/8am you will be transported to The (spider) Tunnel.

If you jump into the teleporter between 8am/4pm you will be transported to The Underground Waterway.

If you jump into the teleporter between 4pm/12am you will be transported to The Outer Wall.

Now lets get those other three kids!!!

THE CHILD IN THE OUTER WALL

Collect the items from the torches and save your game. Make a left at the doorway, and jump up to the top ledge. Climb the brick stairs to the top and hand over hand along the wall ledge until you get to the walkway on the other side. Follow the ledge to the room with a red elevator platform and take it up. Once there you will be staring at a save crystal, so save your game. Make a 180 degree turn and you will see four things: the red elevator platform that you just rode up on, a torch, a dark metal crate behind the torch, and slightly to your left a big stone pillar. The child is on the pillar, but you have to get to him. So, collect the item from the torch, climb the brown metal crate, and jump to the pillar, but you still can't get to the child, so jump from the pillar to the ledge and follow the ledge around the corner. Jump up on the stone ledge and then onto the roof.

Once on the roof, make a 180 degree turn and you will see platforms leading to a ledge with a torch. Follow the ledge until it dead ends and to your right will be 2 torches with a room. Line yourself up between the torches facing the sky. Use the look button to look down to see a ledge you can drop to (this is the same pillar containing the child). After dropping to the ledge, there will be 2 more drops and the child you are looking for. Talk to the child and then jump off of the pillar to the ground and head back down the red elevator platform and retrace your steps to the beginning of the level eliminating the need to fight the boss of the level (The Harpy). Just use the teleport crystal to go back to the Villa. Go back up the stairs to the Villa garden maze to the save crystal, save your game and then go back down to the coffin teleporter.

THE CHILD IN THE UNDERGROUND WATERWAY

At the beginning of this level, make a left watching out for the break-away floor. The easy way to do this is to just start walking and once you hear the floor start to crumble, jump backwards to safety. Now you can jump over the pit made by the break-away floor. Then jump to the hand over hand ledge to the hallway with the teleport crystal. This is the teleport crystal that you will exit the level from, (this will eliminate the need to fight the Medusa boss at the end of the level after saving the child). At the end of the hallway make a right then another right then a left, go through the brown stone arch and make a right, then a left. You will notice that at the end of this hallway is a save crystal, but I avoid it, because when you save the game there, it attracts mermen (wasting time and energy).

So instead, make a right into the brown brick hallway being careful of the two break-away floors. Jump across the 2 pits made by the break-away floors. (fighting mermen along the way) Head forward jumping across the gap in the bridge. Once across the gap in the bridge, you will see 2 ledges and a torch in a metal lantern to your left before the entrance to a building. Ignore entering the building and jump to the first ledge instead. Jump to the second ledge and break the torch for the item and walk to the very edge of the ledge. Using the look button, look down and to your right. You will see a large dark window like opening in the wall below you containing the child that you are looking for. Make a diagonal jump toward the building wall to get to the child. After talking to him, you can just drop down to the bottom walkway and retrace your steps to the beginning of the level and the teleport crystal. Now you are back at the Villa. Go back up the stairs to the Villa garden maze to the save crystal, save your game and then back down to the coffin teleporter.

THE CHILD IN THE SPIDER TUNNEL

The boss in the spider tunnel is probably the only boss you will have to fight, unless this child is the last one to save (after you save the last child, the game automatically ends). Upon arriving at the spider tunnel, you will be greeted by a save crystal, so save your game. Head forward watching out for the rock crusher until the path dead ends into a red elevator platform. Take it down. After jumping off of the red elevator platform head toward the poison river. To the left you will see rock platforms. Use them to cross the river, being careful not to fall in. After the last platform, jump left to another save crystal. After saving your game, head forward past the camp fire until you come to 2 signs pointing in opposite directions. Heading to the right leads to a bunch of items, so head right to collect them. The items are hidden inside a rock at the edge of the poison river. After collecting the items head back to the left and keep going until you dead end into a red elevator platform.

Take it up and save your game at the top. After heading forward you will be greeted by a gang of bats, so be prepared. Keep heading forward until you see a white arrow sign and 2 campfires. At this intersection make a right into a chasm with a narrow ledge you must walk. Watch out for the medusa heads. The best way to deal with them while walking the ledge is to listen very closely for the sound of electricity. When you hear the sound, lock on to the medusa head and shoot it, otherwise it WILL knock you off of the ledge into the poison water. (Using the battle view also helps). After crossing the ledge, turn left. You will see a 2nd rock crusher. After passing through the rock crusher, save your game. Head forward and be prepared for another gang of bats, then jump onto the red mine car and enjoy the ride. The red mine car will lead you to a ledge where you must wait until the blue car arrives. This car goes faster than the red one so I would suggest kneeling, using the lock button, and the action view. After the blue car stops, jump off and then save your game before jumping onto the red elevator platform (The save crystal is to the right of the elevator in the corner) and take it up. This will lead you to another chasm to cross so watch out for those medusa heads. After crossing the chasm, you will see a dead man, a bucket and a white arrow sign. Head forward until you see a torch.

To the right is a chasm you must cross. This chasm has 2 parts. Once you cross this chasm, you will see a shovel and a torch. Head a little bit farther foward and you will see a save crystal, save your game. Keep heading forward until you reach a moon door. This is the room that the child is in. Talk to the child. If this is not the last child being saved, retrace your steps to the shovel and turn right. This path dead ends to another 2 part chasm. After crossing it, head to your right. The save crystal and the sun door ahead is the indication that you are at the end of the level and the spider boss (Queen Algenie). After beating the spider boss, exit through the sun door and the teleport crystal. If any other children need saved just use the teleport crystal to go back to the Villa. Go back up the stairs to the Villa garden maze to the save crystal, save your game and then back down to the coffin teleporter.

IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THIS WALKTHROUGH CORRECTLY, YOU SHOULD END UP HAVING BETWEEN 3 OR 4 DAYS LEFT TO SPARE.
