(At least, I didn't know or had forgotten, for instance, Mihoshi and Kiyone's full names are Kuramitsu Mihoshi and Makibi Kiyone... although years ago, a friend explained the Tenchi chara's names are based on place names in and about Okayama Prefecture.) 3. HINTS "Offense Best 12" 1. Azaka 2. Katsuhito 3. Tenchi Washuu 5. Kamidake Shitsuki Ryouko 8. Aeka Yukinojou 10. Sasami 11. Mihoshi 12. Ryououki "Defense Best 12" 1. Katsuhito 2. Shitsuki 3. Azaka 4. Kamidake 5. Tenchi 6. Washuu 7. Aeka 8. Sasami Ryouko 10. Mihoshi 11. Ryououki 12. Yukinojou "Healing Best 3" 1. Aeka 2. Washuu 3. Sasami 4. HIDDEN COMMANDS In the "Tenchi Muyou! Ge-mu hen" title screen, while holding Y, L, R, and SELECT; press A. When successful, four hidden commands uncloak: 1. Saisho kara minna nakama 2. Music Test 3. SE Test 4. Voice Test 2 to 4 are self-explanatory. Choose one of them, press A, and a number appears. Press X or Y to toggle the number, to listen to different musics, sound effects, and voices. Press START to quit, and return to the menu screen. 1 means "From beginning everyone companion". It unlocks all 12 chara in the Player Select screen. However, even chara who normally join the game at medium- or high-level, will begin the game at low-level. AFAIK, after the player clears the three rounds of the final battle against Kusumi, when the game ends, the score depends on the number of companions, and on their levels. Although this hidden command unlocks all companions, the player needs to level up them, for the high score of 100. 5. COMMENTS (Just Rambling) WRT the Tenchi series, I've even less interest in it than in the Sailormoon series. IIRC, I watched only its first OVA series, and got to dislike Sasami (Masaki Sasami Jurai) and her chara voice, by Yokoyama Chisa (who later voiced Shinguuji Sakura, the title chara and one of the heroines in the Sakura Taisen series). Back in '02, I didn't watch much of TVA Tenchi Muyou! GXP (Galaxy Police Transporter) either, even though the heroine Amane Kaunaq's voice actress is Suzuki Mariko. Anyway. A couple months ago (2009 October), I finally cleared some decade-old bumph (in my room), and dug up some hints for some anime-based games from game mags that I photocopied, eh, collected, about, well, a decade ago. I noticed GameFAQs.com already has some, well, game FAQs for this game, but I decided I might share and type out these hints for fellow anime-based gamers and maniacs. ============================== Don "Tsuru Hiromi Inochi" Chan, voluntary contributor of: Cheat Happens http://www.cheathappens.com/show_user_author.asp?userID=80 GameFAQs http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/recognition/146.html?type=1 The Temple of Leda in Ashanti http://tw.myblog.yahoo.com/jw!jqK9OXSTAxY5_CNyfkps95VHr.8w/ ICQ UIN: 3522863 ============================== *1 "Sakuretsu!"
