Introduction This walkthrough now covers the entire game. This should at least help those that are stuck at the trouble spots of the game. If you are looking for specific help on a specific area please use the search function (Alt F) and either search for the item or look at your map to put in the name of the location you are in. We do not mind getting emails or IMs if you have a question on information not covered in the walkthrough. However, we dislike when people are too lazy to even find the answer to a question that is clearly answered in the walkthrough and think we will be their personal 24/7 walkthrough answerer for the rest of the game (from where they were stuck at). III. Walkthrough ### Tip ### Best way to take out guards in a room: I recommend before shooting anyone in a room to at least try to figure out if you can sneak up on them in the room and take them down stealthfully. This will help you save on health and ammo. Best way to take out any guards shooting at you: Take cover and hug the wall or object you are hiding behind. Push your Left Analog stick in the direction of the guard and wait until the target stops moving before shooting with X or at least until it crosses over it's mark. You will want to get familiar with this move because it will help you with the gun fights you will encounter. You will also want to crouch when you can to steady your shot faster. Intro Movie(s) *************************** * IV. Jack's HeadQuarters * *************************** ------------------------ Location "Training Area" ------------------------ - Try to use the Checkpoint (Hand Scanner) to your right. - Go to the far side of this building (past the punching bag) and find your IRIS Glasses near the crates on the right. Scene (Note: When moving around always watch where your character may look towards. This will sometimes clue you in on the location of a consoles or item(s) you are looking for is at. At other times the character will also look at totally useless things.) - Climb up the ladder to your left and go to the small ledge where the small Medpack is at. - Go back to the Checkpoint and use it. Scene ***************************** * V. Stern Weapons Facility * ***************************** -------------------------- Location "Security Sector" -------------------------- - Go up the stairs on the far left side of this area. - Go around the building on your right to your right. - Watch out for the mines (Stand back and shoot the mines to get rid of them). - Go into the door around the corner to the right and go over to the Checkpoint. Scene - Pick-up the Handgun Bullets and then use the Checkpoint. - Exit out of the map. Scene - Shoot the guys (use the explosive barrels to help) that appear and leave this room (Always watch your radar as it will warn you of danger and where enemies are coming from). - Go into the doorway that they came through (Even though I probably don't have to tell you this, but pick-up any ammo they dropped). - Go into the door you find here (Push X in front of the door). ---------------------------- Location "Security Corridor" ---------------------------- - Go down this corridor and into the next door. -------------------------- Location "Sector A Access" -------------------------- - Follow this corridor to the left and go into the door that you come to on your right. ---------------------- Location "Locker Room" ---------------------- - Get the Small Medpack in here and then leave this room. ---------------------------------------- Location "Sector A Access (Second Time)" ---------------------------------------- - Continue down the corridor to your right. Scene - Continue down this corridor and go up the stairs at the end of the corridor. - Go into the door at the top of the stairs. ------------------- Location "Sector A" ------------------- - Go to the far left of this area and locate the Access hatch (with the top portion of the ladder sticking up) that is covered by a wooden crate. Shoot the explosive barrel next to the crate to open up the Access Hatch. Climb/Slide down the ladder and go into the door behind you. ------------------------------- Location "Underground Corridor" ------------------------------- - Go down this Corridor and go to your left at the fork. - At the next fork go to your right and into the door on your right. ----------------------------------- Location "Underground Control Room" ----------------------------------- - Get the Large Medpack in here and then use the Checkpoint. - Exit the Map. Scene - Leave this room. -------------------------------------------- Location "Underground Corridor (Second Time" -------------------------------------------- - Go back to the ladder and climb up. On your way there you will notice two guards coming down the corridor leading to the ladder. If you want to see how dumb they are go near the wall closest to corridor near the laser protected door. They will end up passing you by and not even see you. --------------------------------- Location "Sector A (Second Time)" --------------------------------- - Go into the big door of this area that you opened up. -------------------------- Location "Sector B Access" -------------------------- - Go into the door to your left. - Shoot the Mines in this corridor and then go into the door to your right. ------------------- Location "Sector B" ------------------- - Go to the far right of this area and climb up onto the green boxes near the "Sector B Storage Building 5". - Jump over the gap and drop down on the other side of the fence in front of you. Get the Medpack to your right if you need it and then climb up the blue boxes behind the "Sector B Storage Building 5". Go into the window at the top ----------------------------- Location "Storage Building 5" ----------------------------- - Kill the guy in this building. Go down the ladder and get the "Power Cell" he dropped. - Use the Green Console near the laser guarded door to deactivate the lasers. --------------------------------- Location "Sector B (Second Time)" --------------------------------- - Go out that door and around the building to your left. Use the Power cell on the Generator to your left (The thing with the electricity warning signs on it). Scene - Go back into the "Storage Building 5". ------------------------------------------- Location "Storage Building 5 (Second Time)" ------------------------------------------- - Go down the ramp that was lowered down. --------------------------- Location "Weapons Research" --------------------------- - Go to your right and pick up the ID Card near the dead guy to your right. - Use the Checkpoint here and then use the Green console near the door. - Go out that door. -------------------------------------------- Location "Underground Corridor (Third Time)" -------------------------------------------- - Go down the corridor and when you reach the fork go to your right. - Go to the laser protected door to your left. - Look at the ID Card in your inventory for the Employee number (Left on D-Pad). Put that number into the console to the left of that laser protected door. The number is random this is four of the numbers I got when I got that ID Card (These are not all of them just an example of them): 0743 0527 0347 6125 - Kill all the guys in here. Scene - Boss Battle "Colony Inmate" This guy is pretty easy just take cover behind one of the pillars in here. When he starts coming towards you go around the other side of the pillar and sneak up behind him. Shoot him in the back repeatedly and then repeat the hiding behind the pillar process again. Scene ********************* * VI. Path to Below * ********************* - Use the Elevator here. ------------------------------- Location "Elevator Maintenance" ------------------------------- - When the elevator stops drop down to the ledge behind you. - Go down the ladder to your left. - Go down the corridor you find at the bottom of the ladder and into the door at the end of it. ---------------------------- Location "Ventilation Shaft" ---------------------------- - Follow the walkway to your right and use the Checkpoint. - Use the red puzzle console to your left and push the letters: A, B, D and E - Go across the bridge and get the Medpack. Go into the door on this side of the bridge. ----------------------------- Location "Maintenance Access" ----------------------------- - Go through this corridor to the next room. ---------------------------- Location "Shaft Maintenance" ---------------------------- - Go down the stairs here and into the next door that you find down here. ----------------------- Location "Shaft Access" ----------------------- - You can try going out the door to your left, but your path/bridge will be blocked by fire. - If you notice inside here near some crates is an explosive barrel. - Shoot that barrel and go through the hole that it creates. Go use the valve wheel that you come to (Rotate your left analog stick to move it). - No that the pressure is adjusted go back to where the explosive barrel was and go out the door leading to the bridge with the fire on it. ---------------------------- Location "Ventilation Shaft" ---------------------------- - Make your way across the bridge (watch out for the burst of fire). - At the end of the bridge you will notice on your right a light fixture that is sparking. Use your Iris scanner (L1) to scan the weak bolt on the lighting fixture. - Once you have scanned it you will then be able to target and shoot it. - Go into the hole it creates and Pick-up the weapons upgrade. - Turn the Valve wheel you find in here. - Shoot one of the mines to your left and then go out that doorway. - Go to your right and shoot more mines. Go down the corridor to your left There are some guards here to take care of. Shoot the steam pipes to help you with them or just shoot them yourself. - Continue down the corridor and go down the ladder that you come to. Watch out for the fire on the way down. You may just want to slide down the ladder and take the damage to be quicker. Scene - Follow the walkway to the left at the bottom of the ladder. - Go across the bridge to your left. - You will see some debris in the middle of the bridge. Drop off the left side of the bridge and shimmy to your left. Climb back up on the other side of the debris and jump across the gap to your left. - Use the Green console near the door on your left and go into that door. ----------------------- Location "Tool Storage" ----------------------- - Get the Medpack and climb up on the box near the checkpoint to get the Valve wheel in here. - Leave this room after using the Checkpoint. (Note: Just a reminder that you will need to push pause and save your game on the Save Last Checkpoint option for the game to be saved. If you actually die it will take you back to the last checkpoint you used when you push continue. However, If you turn off the machine you will lose all your progress if you didn't use the Save Last Checkpoint option. I recommend using it right after you use a Checkpoint. It also sometimes sends you back to either the beginning of an area or to the beginning of a scene depending on where you are in the game.) ------------------------------------------ Location "ventilation Shaft (Second Time)" ------------------------------------------ - Go along the walkway to your left and you will see a very narrow ledge here that goes along the wall. Wall hug (L2) and make your way across this narrow ledge. - Get the Ammo and continue across the next narrow ledge. - Use the Valve wheel on the Valve here. Take notice of the crates it's lifting up in the distance. - Go all the way back across the narrow ledges and follow the path down the stairs that are found after the Tool Storage room. - Continue down this walkway and you can either go over the boxes that you come to or go across the bridge to your left. Continue down the next walkway and go down the stairs. - Continue along this walkway and go across the bridge to your left. - Continue to follow the walkway at the end of the bridge and go down the next staircases that you will find. - YOU will find a valve door along this walkway. Before you use it continue a bit farther down the walkway and use your IRIS scanner to scan the cargo clamp. Shoot the Cargo clamp and climb over the boxes. - Get the items you find on the other side of the boxes and then go back to the Valve door. Use the Valve wheel and go into that doorway that opens. - Go through the hole in front of you and up the stairs. - Scan the Cargo clamp you see to your left and then shoot it. - Go down the hole it creates. - Get the Medpack/Ammo and use the Checkpoint in here. - You will notice there is a hatch here with a ladder. Scan the two padlocks on the sides of the hatch and then shoot them off. - Go down the ladder and Shoot the mines to your left. - Go out of the hole that was created and you will see a cargo clamp in front of you. Look up and to the right of the clamp to see where the support beam is connected to the wall. Use your IRIS scanner to scan the weak bolts on the metal plate holding up the support beam. - Shoot those bolts. Scene - Go to your left and use the control panel. Push the letters: B, C, D and E Scene - Go across the bridge that was made and into the doorway on the other side. Scene ------------------------------ Location "Loading Area Access" ------------------------------ - Follow the corridor ahead of you and stealthfully kill all the guards here. - Go into the door at the end of the corridor. ----------------------- Location "Loading Area" ----------------------- - Climb up on the crates to your right and then jump to the ledge with the broken railing. - Hang off the side of this ledge and shimmy to your left. - Use the control panel with the red flashing lights. - Before you go into the door climb up on top of the big boxes to the right of the door if your facing the door that just opened (under the ledge walkway you just used to get to the door controls). Go across the boxes here and drop down into the little area under the stairs to find the "A" Amuze Emblem. - Now go into the door that opened up. ************************** * VII. Power & Recycling * ************************** ------------------------- Location "Yard Access F3" ------------------------- - Get the Medpack at the end of the corridor in front of you and then go down the stairs that you passed along this corridor. - Go into the door that is at the bottom of the stairs. -------------------------------- Location "Yard Access Staircase" -------------------------------- - Shoot one of the windows out here to your left quickly to clear the toxic gas. - Go down the corridor and into the door to your left. ------------------------- Location "Yard Access F2" ------------------------- - Go down the stairs and out the next door. ------------------------- Location "Yard Access F1" ------------------------- - Go down the stairs and into the door at the end of the corridor. ------------------------- Location "Colony Yard" ------------------------- Scene - Kill all the guys in this yard (you may want to use the boxes near the doorway you came out of as cover. It is easier to take them down from there while they are coming up the stairs.) and go across the bridge to your far right. Go into the door on the other side of that bridge. --------------------------------- Location "Yard Surveillance Area" --------------------------------- - Follow this corridor through the next door and wall hug against the crates here to see up the first flight of stairs. When the guard appears quickly take him down. - Go up the stairs and into the door he was protecting. - Go into the door to your right. ----------------------------- Location "Surveillance Booth" ----------------------------- - Get the Medpack/Ammo in here and use the Checkpoint. Scene - Go back to the Colony Yard. ------------------------------------ Location "Colony Yard (Second Time)" ------------------------------------ - Use the Control panel that it showed you. Scene . Go up the stairs to your left. Take notice of the Electro magnetic Clamp at the top of the stairs holding up some boxes. You will be using that a bit later. For now go to your right and into the door to your left to get a Medpack. - Leave this room and continue left. Go into the door it showed you. ------------------------------------ Location "Control Facility Elevator" ------------------------------------ - Use the Control Panel to your left to open up the elevator. - Use the Elevator's Control Panel. Go down to "Control Facility B1". ------------------------- Location "Storage Sector" ------------------------- - Follow the corridor to your right and go into the door to your left. - Locate the Shocker weapon in the back of this room. Leave this room from the door you haven't used yet. - Shoot the Explosive barrel to your left. - Go into the hole it made and scan the green fuse box in this room on the wall. Use your new Shocker weapon on it (You will want to use a fully charged shot by holding down your fire button until your ready to fire). - Go back out of the hole and follow this corridor. Go into the doorway at the end of the little corridor you find to your left. --------------------------- Location "Computer Station" --------------------------- - Go down the stairs to your left and follow the corridor to your left. - Take care of the guys you see in the room to the right before going in there. - Get the Medpack and then use the Checkpoint. - Shoot one of the windows to your left and climb out of it. - Go down the corridor to your right and get the battery. Go the other way down the corridor and look over the door you come to. You will see a number that you should memorize (130). - Go back to the room with the Checkpoint and use the Battery on the Transformer near the Checkpoint. Use the Transformer. - You will need to fill up the Transformer up to the voltage number you saw on the doorway. - The numbers you should use are: 20, 20, 60, 80 and -50 Scene - Go into that doorway with the number on it now. ------------------------------- Location "Reactor Control Room" ------------------------------- Scene - Get the Code Disc Level 1 on the floor to the left of the checkpoint and then Use the Checkpoint in this room. - Shoot the guys that show up. Scene - Shoot the guys that come out of the elevator and use the elevator. You may want to save your game before using the elevator. You should also try to solve the code breaker puzzle at this time (right on D-pad) - Go up to the Colony Yard F1. ----------------------------------- Location "Colony Yard (Third Time)" ----------------------------------- - Go up the stairs to your right (watch out for the guard). - Climb up the ladder you find to your right. Use the checkpoint that you find to the left at the top of the ladder. - I recommend going back to those stairs that you were first on when you entered the Colony Yard to your left (if you are facing the checkpoint) to take out all the guards here easier. Scene - Go into the doorway to the right of the stairs that lead up to the electromagnetic Clamp. - Pick- up the Utility Belt 1 in this room it lets you carry more stuff. - Get all the other items/Ammo in this room and then leave this room. - Go across the bridge to your left back to the Yard Surveillance Area. --------------------------------- Location "Yard Surveillance Area" --------------------------------- - Use the door that has the 1 on it. near the stairs in the room at the end of the corridor. IF you haven't done that level 1 code breaker puzzle yet you will want to do it now to open the door with the 1 on it. ------------------------------------ Location "Reactor Facility Elevator" ------------------------------------ - Get the Medpack and use the Elevator in this room. - Go down to the Reactor Facility B1. ---------------------------------- Location "Power Condenser Chamber" ---------------------------------- - Go straight down this corridor. Scene - Get the Explosives and use the Checkpoint. - Use the Elevator and head back to the Colony Yard yet again. ------------------------------------ Location "Colony Yard (Fourth Time)" ------------------------------------ - On the other side of the bridge to your right you will see a ladder. Go down that ladder and jump the gap to your left. Make your way around the walkway to the "Power Distributor". Use your new Explosives on it. Shoot the explosive from a distance to blow up the Distributor. Go back up the ladder and go to where the stairs are of this area. - Go up the stairs that the Electromagnetic Clamp is and use your Shocker weapon on it. - Climb up the boxes to the ledge above and use your explosives on the fan/vent here. - Go inside the hole that was created and pick up more explosives. Use your Explosives on the Power Distributor of this room and then drop back down off the boxes. - Go to your left past all the doors and around the corner to the left of this building. You will find a narrow ledge to walk across. Once across use your explosives on the fan/vent and then go into the hole it created. Use your explosives on this final Power Distributor. - Go back to the room that you first got the Explosives in. ------------------------------------------------ Location "Power Condenser Chamber (Second Time)" ------------------------------------------------ - Use the Checkpoint and then go into the door at the end of the corridor. ----------------------- Location "Machine Room" ----------------------- - Kill the two guards in the corridor to your right and then go down the stairs at the end of the corridor. - You will see a few control panels down here with maps above them. Use your scanner for a closer view of the map. You will notice on the map that the control panels are numbered along with the exhaust emissions. - Use the number 2 Valve control and go into the door that is near the stairs. Get the Jack-Hammer weapon that is in here and ammo. - Go back out and use the number 1 Control Panel to the left. Now go counter-clockwise around stuff in the middle of this room over to Control Panel number 3 and use it. - Go clockwise around the stuff in the middle and use the number 5 Control Panel. Go back to the number 1 Control Panel and use the it. - Go clockwise around the stuff in the middle over to where the 4th Control Panel is and use it. Go into the room near this control panel to get grenades and ammo. - Now go counter clockwise around the stuff in the middle and you will see an emissions exhaust blocking your way. Climb over the boxes to the left of it to get past it. Drop down and use the green control panel next to the door that is near you. Scene - Go into that door that is now opened. --------------------------------- Location "Monitor Station Access" --------------------------------- - Go into the door at the end of the corridor. -------------------------- Location "Monitor Station" -------------------------- - Get the Medpack and then use the Checkpoint. You can see the room you need to get down to out of the windows in this room. - Go back out to the Machine room. ------------------------------------- Location "Machine Room (Second Time)" ------------------------------------- - Go into the door directly in front of you. --------------------------------- Location "Reactor Access Hallway" --------------------------------- - Go down the stairs and make your way through the steam filled room to your right. GO to your left at the end and go into the door that you find here. ---------------------------- Location "Induction Chamber" ---------------------------- - Get past the electrical burst here. Just wait until the one in front of you shuts off and quickly go/roll past it. Go into the door when you reach the other side. -------------------------- Location "Reactor Chamber" -------------------------- Scene - Go around to the other side of the reactor in the center of the room and use the control panel. Before you do that though you will need to get rid of the guards in this room. Scene - Now go to each of the three pumps around the sides of this circular room and use the pumps pushing back and forth until each one snaps into place. Be prepared everytime you snap one into place guards will show up. Scene - Use the Checkpoint and then go into the door next to it. ----------------------------- Location "Emergency Corridor" ----------------------------- - Get the Medpack and shoot one of the mines in front of you. - Follow this corridor to an elevator and use the Checkpoint near it before going into the elevator. Watch out for guards along the way protecting this corridor. - Use the Elevator to go up to the Colony Yard F1. ----------------------------------------------- Location "Yard Surveillance Area (Second Time)" ----------------------------------------------- - Use the green Console to your left. - Use the door you now have unlocked. - Go out the door to your left and go out to the Colony Yard. ----------------------------------- Location "Colony Yard (Fifth Time)" ----------------------------------- Scene - Boss Battle "Fernando" You can try the same technique as you did with the other boss battle. However it seems this guy is a bit faster on the draw sometimes. I have also found a way to beat him without even taking any damage. Lead him near to the walkway that you first got to the Colony Yard with and once he is there quickly run to the other stairs that leads up to the Electromagnetic Clamp. Go to your right along the railing and take cover behind the large pipe that goes along the railing. When he gets into view aim for him from up here. You will be able to shoot him and anytime he tries shooting you with a rocket the big pipe in front of you will block it. - Once you have beaten him get his access key. - Before you do anything else go to the left side of the stairs that lead up to the electromagnetic clamp and scan the wall here. Blow it up with your explosives and get the "M" Amuze Emblem. - Now go across the bridge that you haven't used yet (near the Checkpoint). Use the control panel to the left of the big door. ********************************** * VIII. Tunnels to Manufacturing * ********************************** ------------------------------ Location "Loading Area Access" ------------------------------ - Go into the doorway ahead. ----------------------- Location "Loading Area" ----------------------- - Go up the stairs on the far right of this room and follow the walkway around to the right. Go into the door you come to. ----------------------- Location "Storage Room" ----------------------- - Get the Medpack and the Level 2 Code Disc. Use your code breaker to be able to unlock the level 2 Security doors. Leave this room once you have done that. ------------------------------------- Location "Loading Area (Second Time)" ------------------------------------- - Go down the stairs and into the Level 2 Door to your left. ------------------------- Location "Freight Tunnel" ------------------------- (Note: These areas coming up makes me think of Stargate-SG1's Replicator insect bots attacking. You will run into many insect robots in this area. Just take your time. Kill them fast without letting them get near you and you should be fine.) Scene - Follow the Tunnel to the right to find a gate. Scan the padlock on it and then shoot it off. - Continue on to the large circular area to the left. Scene - Boss Battle "Tick Bots" They are fairly easy just back up and start moving to the right around this circular room shooting at them and you should be able to kill them off without even taking damage. - Use the Valve wheel in this room to open up the gate. Go in and Scan the wall in front of you. Place your explosives next to that wall and shoot it from a safe distance. Use the Checkpoint before going on. - Go in the hole that was made. ------------------------ Location "No Man's Land" ------------------------ - Follow the walkway to the right. Jump over the gap and then hang off the other side of this walkway to shimmy past the broken portion of this walkway. - Climb back up and go to your right. Drop down to the walkway below. - Use the ladder that you find here to go down and then go down to the ground with the stairs. - Go towards the area with the big shipping crates are being moved along a conveyor belt. Use your scanner when you are below those crates and look to your right. You should find a weak wall to place explosives at. You can also find the weak wall by listening for the tapping of the insect bots feet. Before you blow up the wall you may want to back up quite a bit as quite a few bugs will come out of the hole. - Go into the hole and up the stairs. Go into the doorway to your left. ----------------------- Location "Loading Area" ----------------------- - Make your way down the corridor to your right while running alongside some of the shipping crates to protect you from the lasers. - The first laser you will want to run along the left side of the shipping crate. - The next laser you will want to run along the right side of the shipping crate. - The third set you will want to wait until the first laser goes behind the wall sticking out on the left. Quickly run between the two walls and run along the left side of the shipping crate that comes along. - Quickly shoot the ticks that show up and use the checkpoint here. - Use your scanner and look for the weak wall here. Use your explosives on it. - Go into the hole that is made. - Go down the corridor and into the door to your right. - Boss Battle "Ralph" This guy is less hard then the pass two guys you had to battle. Just use the same tactics you did with the others and you should be fine. - Take the Fuse he drops. Use the Fuse on the Fuse Panel. - You will need to watch the cargo/pipes that moves along a conveyor belt when you place in the fuse. Pull the fuse at just the right time that the cargo/pipes won't be blocking the gate on the left that you can see near the moving cargo. There is a glitch here that I should warn you about. If you try going through the conveyor belt when there is not enough room you will run a chance of getting stuck in the conveyor belt area and you will have to start from wherever your last checkpoint or save was at. - Go through that gate and climb up on the boxes that you can see to your left when you come out on the other side of the conveyor belt. - Go along the walkway on the left and use the green Console. Scene - Go down and put the fuse back in to unblock the gate on the right. Climb up to that hole that the shipping crate you moved when into and go into that hole. ********************* * IX. Manufacturing * ********************* -------------------------- Location "Loading Station" -------------------------- - Go along the walkway to your right (go into the door to your right if you need ammo). - Go down the stairs to your left and after you have killed the guys in here. Face the wall to the right at the bottom of the stairs. Follow the wall to the right and you will find a Level 3 door. Remember where this door is you will need to come back to it later (for an Amuze Emblem). - Go to the conveyor belt directly behind you and use the Checkpoint to your right (Use the door near the checkpoint to get ammo or a medpack. - Use your Fuse on the Elevator's Fuse panel to your right (near the stairs). -------------------------------- Location "Loading Area Elevator" -------------------------------- - Go down to the "Furnace B1". - Get out of the elevator and into the door to your right. ------------------------------ Location "Furnace Access West" ------------------------------ - Go up the stairs and into the doorway at the top. - Follow this corridor to the next doorway you go into. ------------------ Location "Furnace" ------------------ - Go up the ladder to your left. Get the grenades and Fuse up here. - Go back down the ladder and go back to the elevator and return to the "Assembly Area F1". -------------------------- Location "Loading Station" -------------------------- - Take the Fuse from the Elevator Fuse Panel. You should now have 2 Fuses. - Put one of the Fuses into the Conveyor Belt's Fuse Panel (If you have your back to the elevator it's directly in front of you). - Put the other Fuse into the Fuse panel of the door (If your back is to the Elevator it's to your right). - Use the control panel next to those doors to open them and go inside. You may want to use the Checkpoint again before you go inside. --------------------------- Location "Transport Tunnel" --------------------------- - Make your way down this corridor past the lasers the same way you did it earlier by using the shipping containers as protection. - Go into the door you find at the end of this corridor. ------------------------ Location "Assembly Area" ------------------------ Scene - Take care of the guys in this room and then take notice of the Assembly machine to your left. You will be back here a bit later. Use the Checkpoint that is near this machine. - You need to go into the door you just unlocked. -------------------------- Location "Elevator Access" -------------------------- - Go into the door ahead of you. ------------------------------ Location "Freight Elevator F1" ------------------------------ - Pick-up the Anti-Toxin to your right. Go back to the "Assembly Area now. -------------------------------------- Location "Assembly Area (Second Time)" -------------------------------------- - Go up the stairs to your right and go into the door that you find at the end of the walkway to your right. -------------------- Location "Side Room" -------------------- - Get the Ammo and go into the next door. Use your Anti-Toxin either right before you enter or right after you enter. ------------------------------ Location "Control Room Access" ------------------------------ - Quickly make your way through this gas filled corridor. - Go into the second door you come to on your right and take out all the guys in these rooms. - Get the Anti-Toxin and the Ammo in this room. - Use the Control panel that you see in this room. The Letters you need to push are: A, C, D and E - Get the Medpack in the other room and then use the Anti-Toxin again. - Go all the way back to the "Freight Elevator F1" (where you first got Anti-Toxin). -------------------------------------------- Location "Freight Elevator F1 (Second Time)" -------------------------------------------- - Pick-up the Anti-Toxin again., - Use the control panel straight ahead to use the Elevator. - Go to "Assembly Area F2". ------------------------------- Location "Workstation Facility" ------------------------------- - Once you exit the elevator kill all the guys in this area. - Locate the ladder on the side of the elevator to climb up on top of the elevator. You may want to shoot the guys from up here they seem to be less accurate shooting up. - Get all the items on top of it and then go back down the ladder. - Go to each bridge control panel to lower the bridges on each side of the elevator. You can go to either room first if you want. I just preferred getting the one without the Checkpoint out of the way first. - Go across the bridge and into the door that has the brown crate to the left of it first. Use your Anti-Toxin before going into that door. --------------------------- Location "East Maintenance" --------------------------- - Quickly make your way through this corridor while killing guys here. - Go into the door at the end of the corridor. --------------------------- Location "East Workstation" --------------------------- - Get the Medpack and Fuse in this room. Use the Fuse on the Fuse Panel next to the door that you just came in. Scene - Take the Fuse back and Go back to where the Elevator was. ------------------------------- Location "Workstation Facility" ------------------------------- - Go into the door straight ahead (the one that you have not gone into yet.) --------------------------- Location "West Maintenance" --------------------------- - This corridor is guarded by two turret rocket launchers. The are not that hard to beat once you get use to them. When they first come out of the ceiling aim at them. When you see it fire a rocket at you quickly roll out of the way while still aiming. Quickly shoot it and roll out of the way again when it shoots another rocket. Do it this way for both and you should have no problem with destroying them (this will take some practice to do it well). - Go into the door they are guarding. --------------------------- Location "West Workstation" --------------------------- - Get all the items in this room including the Anti-Toxin and Utility belt 2. Use the Checkpoint once you have done that. - Go back to the Elevator and go down to "Assembly Area F1". ------------------------------------------- Location "Freight Elevator F1 (Third Time)" ------------------------------------------- - Go to the door with the big C over it. Use the Fuse on the Fuse Panel next to it. - Go into that door. -------------------------- Location "Elevator Access" -------------------------- - Proceed through the next door. ------------------------------------ Location "Frequency Modulation Area" ------------------------------------ - Go down the stairs in front of you. You will want to kill as many of the guys as you can in this room first before doing so. - Climb up on the walkway to your right and go to your left. - Jump across the gap you come to and use the control panel to your left. Scene - Jump back across the gap to the walkway you came from and drop down from the opening you made to your right. - Go to your right and use the control panel to your left. Scene _ Go back to the walkway and jump across the gap to your left again. - Go to your right and drop off the edge here to another walkway. - Go left and use the control panel to your left near the gap at the end of this walkway. Scene - Go left and drop off the edge of the walkway that you opened up. Turn around and climb up onto that first walkway you used earlier. - Go to your left and drop off the edge of the walkway to your right. - Go right and use the control panel to your left here again. Scene - Now go all the way back to the second walkway again. - Go to your right and up the stairs you see in front of you. - Go left and drop off the edge to your right. - Turn around and get the "Navigation Unit" near the computer consoles to your right. - Go back to the first walkway and go to your right. Jump across the gap and then use the console to your left. - Jump back across the gap and make your way back to the door you first entered this area with. When you are facing the door turn to your left and go up the stairs directly in front of you. - Follow this walkway to the Frequency Modulator. Use the Navigation Unit on the Frequency Modulator. - Look at the top of the machine to see a number (204). - Go back the way you came and down the stairs. Go up the stairs to your right and use the control panel to your right at the top of the stairs. - You will need to form the numbers that you saw above the Frequency Modulator. Use these letters to complete this puzzle: A, B, D, F and G Push Next and then use these letters: A, B, C, D, E and G Push Next and then use these letters: B, C, E and F Push Send Scene - Now leave this room and head back to the "Freight Elevator F1" area. -------------------------------------------- Location "Freight Elevator F1 (Fourth Time)" -------------------------------------------- - Take back the Fuse and go to the door with the big B over it. Use the Fuse on the Fuse Panel next to it and go inside. -------------------------- Location "Elevator Access" -------------------------- - Proceed through the next door. -------------------- Location "Fuel Area" -------------------- - Go down the stairs to your right and use the Checkpoint at the bottom of the stairs. - Kill the guys behind you and follow the walkway that they are/were guarding between the big fuel tanks to your right. Go to your right and then left. Go left again and to your right there is a pipe you need to hop over. - Go to your left and pick up the "Chemical A" on the ground. - Go to your right and to your right on the floor you should see the "Blueprint 1". Kill the guy to your right and go up the stairs they were guarding. - Go up the ladder that you find at the top of the stairs. You can use the "Chemical A" on the Fuel Synthesizer to your right before going up the ladder if you want or wait it is up to you. - Go to your left and out some ledges guarded by flame geysers. - Jump across the gap straight ahead of you when the fire stops for a moment. Jump across the gap to your right when that flame stops for a moment. - Wall hug the wall here and walk across the narrow ledge along the wall. - Face in the direction of the door you entered this area from. Jump across the gap to your left and then the gap to your right the same way you did before when the fire died down. - Jump across the gap to the ledge to your left and shimmy to your left while hanging off the edge. - Pull yourself up when you get to the walkway. Follow this walkway down some stairs (at the top of the stairs to your right is a Medpack if you need it). - At the bottom of the stairs get the grenades on the floor to your left. - Go left around the side of the stairs you just came down and get "Chemical B". - Use the Valve wheel that you find near the Fuel leak here to turn off the fire blocking your path. - Go up the stairs to where the Fuel Synthesizer is and use both of the Chemicals on the Fuel Synthesizer if you didn't use "Chemical A" yet. Scene - Go back down the stairs and follow the path right in front of you back to the doorway you entered this area from. Go back out to the "Freight Elevator F1" area. -------------------------------------------- Location "Freight Elevator F1 (Fifth Time)" -------------------------------------------- - Take back the Fuse and go to the door with the big A over it. Use the Fuse on the Fuse Panel next to it and go inside. -------------------------- Location "Elevator Access" -------------------------- - Proceed through the next door. --------------------------- Location "Fabrication Area" --------------------------- - Go straight along this walkway and to your left. Go up the stairs on your right and use the Checkpoint here. - Go down the ladder around the corner to your left and at the bottom of the ladder face away from the ladder look to your left and you will see some stairs you need to go up to get into the control room. Once you reach the top of those stairs go into the door to your right. - Get the Blueprint 2 and the Medpack. - In the corner of this room use the console that says Lasers Disabled to Activate the lasers. Scene - Now go back to the ladder that you came down on and climb up to where the machine that you just turned on is. - Use the console next to the Checkpoint. - The screen near that Blueprint 2 console showed you the shape you need to create. To create that shape use the co-ordinates in this order: F1, F3, G3, G4, H4, H5, F5, F9. D9, D8, B8, B7, C7, C6, D6 and D1 Scene - Go down the stairs near the door you came into this area with and use the Blueprint 1 console down here to your right. The co-ordinates should go in this order to create the shape for Blueprint 1: D8, D6, E6, E5, H5, H2, C2, C3, B3 and B8 - Go to your left and take the "Repeater" weapon that it made for you. You may want to use the Checkpoint here at this point and save your game. - Leave this room and go back out to the "Freight Elevator F1" area. -------------------------------------------- Location "Freight Elevator F1 (Sixth Time)" -------------------------------------------- - Take back the Fuse and use the doorway that has no letter over it. -------------------------- Location "Elevator Access" -------------------------- - Proceed through the next door. ------------------------------------- Location "Assembly Area (Third Time)" ------------------------------------- - Use the Control panel for the Assembly machine that is on the other side of the conveyor belt in front of you. Scene - Use the Checkpoint near you and save your game. - Go back to the "Freight Elevator F1" area yet again. --------------------------------------------- Location "Freight Elevator F1 (Seventh Time)" --------------------------------------------- - Use the Elevator to go down to "Furnace B1". -------------------------- Location "Weapons Storage" -------------------------- - Kill the guys in this room and then go down the stairs in this room. - Go over to where the Missile is and Scan it. Remember the Serial Code that it gives you in the description (6509). - Go back up the stairs and use the Fuse on the Fuse Panel near the doors. Scene - Use the Serial code on the Red Control panel and then go into the door to your right. ------------------------------- Location "Furnace Access North" ------------------------------- - Proceed through the next door. -------------------------------- Location "Furnace (Second Time)" -------------------------------- - Look to your right and remember the voltage number on the side of the large vat. Quickly make your way across this walkway in front of you. Rolling every now and then to avoid the rockets being launched at you. Go into the door at the end of the walkway. ------------------------ Location "Power Chamber" ------------------------ - Pick up the Level 3 Code disc in here and then use the checkpoint and save your game. Now is a good time to kill the guy with the rocket launcher. Use your new repeater weapon on him. - Make your way back to the "Weapons Storage" area. ---------------------------------------- Location "Weapons Storage (Second Time)" ---------------------------------------- - Use the Level 3 door near the red console. ---------------------------------- Location "Technical Center Access" ---------------------------------- - Go into the door at the end of the corridor. --------------------------- Location "Technical Center" --------------------------- - Use the Transformer in this room and input the voltage number you saw by using the numbers in this order: 20, 40, 60, 80 and -50 Scene - Now go back to the "Weapons Storage" area. --------------------------------------- Location "Weapons Storage (Third Time)" --------------------------------------- - Take the fuse and then go into the "Furnace" area. ------------------------------- Location "Furnace (Third Time)" ------------------------------- - Wall hug and walk along that narrow ledge to your right that the vat you moved was blocking. - Go up the ladder to your left. This place will seem familiar because you were here earlier. Use the Fuse on the Fuse Panel. %%%%%%%% Optional %%%%%%%% If you want the "U" Amuze Emblem (and other items) you will want to keep the fuse with you first and go into the door here. Go back to the Loading Station area. Where I mentioned the Level 3 door that is under the staircase you couldn't use at the beginning of the Manufacturing area. ----------------------------------------- Location "Furnace (Third Time continued)" ----------------------------------------- - Go down the ladder and back across the narrow ledge to the rotating bridge. Go to the control panel to your left that you just powered up and use it. Before you use the control panel you may want to go to a checkpoint and save your game because a boss fight is coming up. Scene - Go into the door to your right (the only door you haven't used yet with some ammo on the sides of it).. ---------------------------------- Location "Smelting Chamber Access" ---------------------------------- - Go into the door at the end of the corridor. --------------------------- Location "Smelting Chamber" --------------------------- Scene - Boss Battle "Che" If you have played Dead to Rights this fight should seem a bit similar (because you end up having to dodge a riot shield wielding boss). Don't bother shooting at her right away as she has a Metal Riot Shield to block your shots. When she comes at you with her sword you will want to roll to your right (If you do this while aiming at her you will aim at her quicker compared to not aiming at her). This seems to be her blind spot and she usually doesn't hit you when you do this (if you time it right). Quickly shoot her while her back is to you and unprotected (you can only do this when she does a double swing). If she only swings once just try dodging her again and hope she does her multiple swing attack with the sword. When she uses her grenades just keep moving to avoid them. Also, watch out for her flame attacks that go around the room. Repeat the method of rolling around her and shooting her (I recommend shooting her with the Ak) in the back until she is defeated. (Alternative Strategy) Hold L2, R1 and hold right when you first enter the room (this will cause you to circle around her while aiming). When she gets near you roll to your right while still holding down L2 and R1. If you do this right you should roll right around her. Just keep doing this until she attacks with her multiple slash attack and shoot her in the back. You should be able to hold L2 and R1 the whole time during this battle. Just roll out of the way of her flame attack and grenades. I used this method and hardly got hit by her. Only time I usually got hit was from the flame attack because it's unpredictable at times and when she corners you. Stay out of the corners and you should be fine. Use one clip of the AK each time she misses you with the Multi slash and she should be defeated in about 5 or 6 clips of the AK. Scene ******************* * X. Ground Level * ******************* (Note: If you have been wondering when you would play as Jack wonder no more. You should also now be at 50 percent completion of the game if you have the Amuze emblems.) ------------------- Location "Entrance" ------------------- ~ Turn left and go down the corridor to the left of the burning car (Watch out for the steam vents along the way). ~ Go down the ladder you come to on your right. ~ You will run into a small enemy ambush group down here be prepared. ~ Once you have beaten them continue on to find another ambush group. ~ On the far side of this area you should find some grenades and a ladder that you will want to climb up. ~ Go to your left at the top of the ladder and use the checkpoint you come upon to your right. ~ Go around the corner and use the boxes near the handgun bullets for cover to take out the enemies ahead. ~ Continue down this corridor over some bridges and down the ladder at the end. ---------------- Location "Alley" ---------------- (Note: At this point you can listen in on the fighting couple in the background while walking through the alley) ~ Go straight and to your right (Go left and avoid the steam vent for a Adrenaline Booster). ~ Kill the guys here and then go to the left at the next turn. ~ Go straight and turn right at the end (straight ahead is some ammo). ~ Go up the ladder here (watch out for the guy behind you). ~ Use the Checkpoint at the top of the ladder. ~ Go across the bridge and then scan the locks on the gate with your Iris (L1). ~ Shoot all three locks off and continue on. ~ Get the Large Medpack and turn to your left at the corner. ~ Go out to the open area ahead. Scene (You will meet the offspring of an old rival) ~ I recommend using one of the shipping containers near to where you entered for cover against these guys. ~ Once you have beaten them go to the doorway you came from and face your back to it. Go to your left along the wall and you will find a little opening to the left where a valve wheel is at. ~ Go over to the door Redwood went and use the Valve wheel near the door to go inside. Scene ******************************** * XI. Tunnels to Entertainment * ******************************** Scene (Note: This part is rather annoying because you will sometimes have a hard time seeing the ticks) ------------------------ Location "No Man's Land" ------------------------ ~ You will need to protect Che from ticks by using a sniper/rocket rifle (to use the rockets hold down the fire button). My main advice is to memorize where the ticks are coming from and shoot them when they first appear. You will want to use the rockets when Che is near you. When she is farther away you will want to zoom in a bit and take out the ticks with the rifle until she eventually gets behind that skinny rock formation in the middle of the far area. When she gets near that skinny rock formation you will want watch to the right of the formation for some ticks and then also to the left side of that formation. When she reaches the very top of the area you will want to watch out for the ticks that come from the upper left of the screen and also down near the lower left area of the skinny rock formation. This just takes practice you will eventually get through it like I did. I will give rough descriptions as to where they will be coming from depending on where she is at (if you have a better solution on explaining this part I’m all ears). When she is near you they will come from the upper left area and then the upper right area of where she is. When she gets closer to that skinny rock formation they will come from the upper left and below area of where she is at. When she reaches near the left side of the skinny rock formation they will come from the upper left and from behind that skinny rock formation. When she goes up along the side of the skinny rock formation they will come from below her and from the upper left. When she reaches the very top part of this area they will come from left )the same place they have been coming from). Scene ~ Collect the ammo near you if you need it and then go down the ladder. ~ Run fast to the door that Che went into and use the control panel to the right of it (here is an incentive to get into that door quickly. If they kill you the whole sniper/rocket gun part that you just completed will need to be redone all over again). ~ Use the checkpoint you find in here and then down the ladder. ------------------------ Location "Sewer Tunnels" ------------------------ ~ You can find a Medpack behind the ladder at the bottom of it. ~ You will see a fork here in the tunnel. You can go in either direction they go the same place (Don't shoot the rats along the way you will just be wasting bullets). ~ Go down the tunnel those tunnels go to. Scene ~ You now have some new deadly play toys to play with. You will want to back up while aiming and shooting. ~ Follow the tunnel they came down and you will start having worse vision due to the humidity in the tunnels (watch out for the ticks and your new enemy along the way). ~ You will eventually come to a large tunnel go all the way to the end of it and go to your right. There is a rocket launcher turret here to deal with. ~ Continue on to your left and go straight (if you turn left you will find some explosives). You will come to a little short railing you will need to hop over to your right at the end of this tunnel. ~ Use your explosives on the wall with a hole in it at the end of this short tunnel. --------------------------- Location "Drainage Chamber" --------------------------- ~ Use the Checkpoint to your left. ~ Jump across the gap to your right and pick up the ammo. ~ Go down the ladder and fight all the bugs that come out to play (if you are running low on ammo use your repeater). Scene ~ Deal with more of them and then go into the hole they made. ~ Use the Valve wheel to open up a gate. ~ Go out and to your left. You see above the crates a ladder with a lock on it. Scan the lock and then shoot it. ~ Go up the ladder and then go to your right and hang off the ledge near the crates. Shimmy to your right and then go into the gate you opened up. ------------------------ Location "Sewer Tunnels" ------------------------ ~ Kill the ticks to your left at the end of this tunnel and get the ammo near the dead body. ~ Go the other direction to meet a group of your favorite kinds of robots (You may want to back up into the tunnel that leads to the drainage chamber they don't seem to follow you that well down it). ~ Continue down the tunnel they came down and follow the tunnel to your left. ~ Go into the door at the very end of this tunnel (not the tunnel with the gas in it). -------------------------- Location "Drainage Tunnel" -------------------------- Scene ~ Take the ammo you find down here and go down the only tunnel you can. ~ Watch out for the army of ticks coming down the tunnel to your right. ~ Continue to follow this tunnel and watch out for the rocket launcher turret you come to near the end of the large tunnel. ~ Climb up onto the ledge to the right after the rocket launcher turret. ------------------------ Location "Sewer Tunnels" ------------------------ ~ Use the Valve Wheel here. ~ Go through the gate that opens up to your left and go out to your right. ~ Go back into the Drainage Tunnel. -------------------------- Location "Drainage Tunnel" -------------------------- ~ You will see some circular Electric Relay panels in this room. Scan them with your Iris and then shoot them with your Shocker weapon. ~ Go across the bridge that comes up and use the checkpoint to your right. ~ Go into the door to your left. ----------------------- Location "Loading Area" ----------------------- ~ Go straight down this corridor and up the stairs to your right. Use the control panel near the end of this walkway to your left. ~ Go out the door it opened up. Scene ********************* * XII. Entertainment * ********************* ---------------------------------- Location "South of Media Fortress" ---------------------------------- ~ Get the Explosives near the door ahead of you and then go down the stairs near you. ~ You should see some blue wires going on the wall away from the stairs that lead to a blank area of the wall (if you are unsure of what wall I am talking about just use your scanner and scan all the walls until you find the weak one). Use your scanner on that wall and then use your explosives on that wall. ~ Use your scanner on the yellow Fuse box that you find behind the wall and use your shocker weapon on it. Scene ~ Go into the door that the lasers are no longer protecting. ------------------------------ Location "West Outer Corridor" ------------------------------ ~ Go down this corridor and pick up the small medpack to your left before going to the checkpoint here. Scene ~ Use the Checkpoint and then continue down the corridor. ~ Scan the yellow Fuse box around the corner of the corridor (try to do this before the guards see you). ~ Doing this will unblock the door farther down the corridor. The bad part is that it also activates cutting lasers. Use the boxes along this corridor to get past the lasers and then enter the door you unblocked. ---------------------------------- Location "Wild West Studio Access" ---------------------------------- ~ Go up the stairs around the corner and into the door at the top of the stairs. ---------------------------------- Location "Wild West Studio Access" ---------------------------------- (Note: I liked their choice of music for the setting of this place. I do think they should have used the music they did for the motorcycle parts from the original headhunter during more of the game. Not for the western part I just mean the other parts of the game. I just thought I would mention that since I'm on the subject of choice of music they used. That might just be me because I liked that fast paced music). ~ Go down this hallway and to your right to get some grenades. ~ Go down the stairs to your left and use the checkpoint here (you may want to save here also just incase). ~ Go over to the swinging doors. Scene ~ I recommend moving/rolling as much as you can and be the fastest gun in the west here. ~ Once you have cleared them go to the building at the far end of the street. ~ Once you have taken care of these gunslingers head into the building and up the ladder in here. ~ Go along the walkway to your right and drop off the ledge to your left. Scene ~ Boss Battle "Colony (Gunslinger) Inmate" This guy is easy just crouch and shoot him repeatedly (He didn't even hit me once talk about the lousiest aiming gunslinger in the west). ~ Go over to the door behind you and look at the top of the door for three symbols. ~ Go over to the slot machine that the gunslinger was protecting at the end of the street. Use the Slot machine and line up the three symbols on it that you saw over the door. Scene ~ Go into the door that it unblocks. ------------------------ Location "Studio Access" ------------------------ ~ Go into the door at the end of the corridor. ---------------------- Location "Porn Studio" ---------------------- ~ Clear the guys in this room and then go into the door to your left. ------------------------ Location "Studio Access" ------------------------ ~ Use the Checkpoint to your left and then go out the door near it. -------------------------- Location "Props Storage B" -------------------------- Scene ~ Go into the door to your right. -------------------------------- Location "Prison Storage Access" -------------------------------- ~ Go out the at the end of the corridor. -------------------------- Location "Props Storage C" -------------------------- Scene ~ Boss Battle "Jay Rhino" You will want to use the same tactics with this boss as you have with the previous bosses. Sneak up behind him and shoot him (I recommend the AK for him). Scene ~ Go over to the buttons in the corner that it showed you and pick a button (Choose the ones to the left and right of the corner one. The left one should open up the secret room behind the psycho star picture. The right one should lower a ladder down). If you choose wrong you will get some unwanted visitors in this room. ~ Go up the ladder that came down near you. ~ Follow the walkway to your right to find some stairs (to your right is the Utility Belt 3 that you want to pick up). Scene ~ Slot machine 2 should now have power. ~ Use the Checkpoint and then go back out to the "North Broadcasting Tower F2" corridor. ---------------------------------------------------- Location "North Broadcasting Tower F2 (Second Time)" ---------------------------------------------------- ~ Go down the corridor and into the door to your left. ----------------------------- Location "North Tower Access" ----------------------------- ~ Go into the door at the end of the corridor. ------------------------------ Location "TV Control Facility" ------------------------------ ~ Kill the guys in this room and then use your scanner to look at the symbols at the top of the door near the slot machine. ~ Use the Slot machine to get those symbols that are over the door to open it. ~ Go into the door you powered up. -------------------------- Location "TV Control Room" -------------------------- Scene ~ Get the Medpack and then get the Enhanced Vision upgrade for your Iris in the center of the room (Push R3 the Right analog stick down to use it). The upgrade basically gives you thermal goggles to see heat with. They are good to use if you want to see through walls where guards are at to sneak up on them. ~ Use the checkpoint and then leave this room. -------------------------------------------- Location "TV Control Facility (Second Time)" -------------------------------------------- ~ Go to your right and into the door to your right. ----------------------------- Location "South Tower Access" ----------------------------- ~ Go into enhanced vision mode and shoot the invisible mines in here or just shoot them without using the enhanced vision. ~ Use the green control panel to get through the next door. -------------------------------------- Location "South Broadcasting Tower F2" -------------------------------------- ~ If you have not gone to the lounge yet go through the door to your right that leads to the lounge with various items in it. If you already have been there go to the elevator and use it. ~ Go down to the "South TV Tower B1". ---------------------------------------- Location "Props Storage C (Second Time)" ---------------------------------------- ~ Step out of the elevator and use your scanner to look at the wall to your left (where the blue wires go to along the wall). Use your explosives on that weak wall you see. ~ Go into the hole and you should see the blue wires go to a black area on the wall. Use your Enhanced vision mode and then your scanner to scan that black area to find a Fuse Box. ~ Use your Shocker weapon on that Fuse Box. Scene ~ You have now unblocked the final Slot machine. You will notice the blue wires going along the wall from that slot machine. Follow the blue wires to the "Props Storage B" area. --------------------------------------- Location "Props Storage B (Third Time)" --------------------------------------- ~ Go over to the door on the right protected by lasers and look at the symbols above it. ~ Go back to the "Props Storage C" area. --------------------------------------- Location "Props Storage C (Third Time)" --------------------------------------- ~ Go to the slot machine and get the symbols from on the door on this machine to unlock it. ~ Go back to the "Props Storage B" area. ---------------------------------------- Location "Props Storage B (Fourth Time)" ---------------------------------------- ~ Go into the door that is now no longer blocked by lasers. ------------------------------- Location "Horror Studio Access" ------------------------------- ~ Go down the hallway to your left and follow it all the way to a large room with pictures. ------------------------ Location "Horror Studio" ------------------------ ~ Use your scanner and scan the statue in this room. This will give you a hint as to where the hint for this puzzle is at. ~ Look at the window behind the desk in this room. You will notice the sun's and moons pictures on it. This is the key to continue on. ~ The pictures in this room have two sides a night side and a daytime side. ~ Turn the pictures until they match the pattern that is on the window. Use your Enhanced vision and scanner on that black area. ~ Use your Shocker weapon on the Fuse Box you found. Scene ~ Go into the door you just unblocked (up the stairs and into the door to your right). ------------------------------ Location "East Outer Corridor" ------------------------------ ~ You will need to deal with another two of those rocket launcher turrets in this corridor. ~ Once you have dealt with them go into the door they were protecting after getting Medpack if you needed it. ---------------------- Location "Prison Area" ---------------------- ~ Pick up the ammo and then go into the door near the Checkpoint. Scene ~ Go out the door to your right. Use the checkpoint before going out that door though. ------------------------ Location "Prison Access" ------------------------ ~ Use the green control panel and go out the door it unblocks. --------------------------------------- Location "Props Storage C (Fifth Time)" --------------------------------------- 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 -------- Optional -------- ~ Go out the door to the left of the Elevator. ~ Follow the yellow line into the "Props Storage A" area and use your Enhanced Vision near the Checkpoint in this room. Use your explosives on the weak wall. ~ Use your Enhanced Vision plus Scanner to scan the black area inside the hole you made to find the Fuse box. ~ Use your Shocker weapon on that Fuse Box. Scene ~ Get the Weapons upgrade and Amuze Emblem "Z" in the room that was behind the Psycho Star Picture. Go back to where the Elevator is once you have these things. 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 ~ Use the Elevator and go up to the "South TV Tower F1" area. ---------------------------------------------------- Location "South Broadcasting Tower F2 (Second Time)" ---------------------------------------------------- ~ Go left and into the first door to your right. ----------------------------- Location "South Tower Access" ----------------------------- ~ Shoot the guys in here and then go into the door on the other side of this corridor. ------------------------------ Location "TV Control Facility" ------------------------------ ~ Go into the door near the slot machine. -------------------------- Location "TV Control Room" -------------------------- Scene ~ Boss Battle "Psycho Star" Avoid him while he is zooming around the room. When he stops he will make clones. Roll out of the way of the clones and quickly aim and shoot at Psycho star (You may want to use your shotgun if you are close to him). When he starts doing his laser attack just roll out of the way of it. Just keep rolling out of the way of the clones and shooting him until he is defeated. He will become faster and send out more clones the more health you take out of him. You may want to use one of your Adrenaline Boosters during this fight to take less damage during this battle. Once you run out of shotgun bullets switch to a faster gun (like the Ak) or when he gets faster. All you are doing in this battle is to test your dodging and shooting. ~ Go over to Psycho Star when he is laying on the ground. Scene **************************** * XIII. Stern Corporation HQ * **************************** Scene ---------------- Location "Lobby" ---------------- Scene ~ Like Jack says clear out the low-lifes in this lobby (Keep your distance from them and you should be fine). Scene ~ Take care of the other low-lifes that have shown up. Scene ~ Take the elevator up to the "Board Room". --------------------- Location "Board Room" --------------------- Scene ~ Shoot the monitors if you want (you don't get anything from it I just like destroying stuff) and then go out of the door near the checkpoint after using it. ---------------------- Location "Roof Access" ---------------------- ~ Go up the stairs here and take the first aid kit at the top of the stairs to the right before going out the door to the roof. Go up the stairs to your right. Scene ~ Boss Battle "Redwood Jr." Quickly take cover behind the block shaped thing behind Jack to his right when your facing away from Redwood. I recommend using your Sub Machine Gun. You can just roll out shooting him a few times then roll back behind some cover until he is defeated. It should only take 3 clips of the machine gun to finish him off. Scene ************************* * XIV. The Maze Studios * ************************* ----------------- Location "Cell B" ----------------- Scene ~ Leave your cell and go to the cell to your left. ----------------- Location "Cell A" ----------------- ~ Get your Iris glasses in this cell. Go to Cell C to get a Medpack. -------------------- Location "Cell Area" -------------------- ~ Go down the stairs near Cell A and go out the door to your right. ------------------------- Location "Arena 1 Access" ------------------------- ~ Use the Checkpoint and save your game before going through the next door. ------------------ Location "Arena 1" ------------------ ~ Pick up the Law Enforcer Pistol in the center of the arena Scene ~ This mazy is similar to a fun house mirror maze. Hit the glowing button on the floor and poles with electrical charges flowing between them will appear. You need to find a path through the poles where there is no electrical charge. You can tell when it has an electrical charged wall only when you are very close to it. You need to avoid that laser while stepping on the glowing tiles that light up around the room to light up the lights over the next doorway you need to go into. You will need to watch out where you step. There are two main tiles you want to avoid stepping on: 1. The tile with the lasers on it (I think this is obvious). 1. The tile that has a very bright star on it (you want to avoid these because during the next changing cycle these turn into laser panels. ~ You will want to try using the single and double star tiles to get around this room while avoiding the laser chasing you. ~ You will need to light up 10 Lights over the door to complete this challenge. Just stay calm and look for a good path to the lighted up switch in one of the corners of the room and you should be fine. ~ Once you have completed it climb up into the door you opened. ------------------------- Location "Arena 3 Access" ------------------------- ~ Get the Ammo/Ak and then use the checkpoint. ~ Go into Arena 3. ------------------ Location "Arena 3" ------------------ ~ This is room is the Royal gun rumble room. This means you will need to survive gun carrying low-lifes that they drop down into this room. When you first enter this room I recommend quickly going to the far right of this room. This is the side of the room that the low-lifes drop out from first. You will want to take care of these guys quickly and then take care of the guys on the far side of the room (If you do this fast enough you should not get hit very much). Each time you kill off a set of guys more of your cover will disappear. There is 3 sets of guys you need to kill to beat this challenge. ~ Collect all of the Ammo in this room once you have cleared the room and before you push the glowing button. Hit the button in the center of the room once you have collected up all the ammo and health. Scene - (Bonus Challenge) Boss Battle "Big Spider Bot" You will want to get use to beating this spider because you will run into many more smaller versions of it later on. The spider is actually fun once you get the hang of beating it. It's flame thrower attack is the only more difficult one to avoid because you can't time the dodge just right at times. All you need to do is run/roll out of the way of the flamethrower attack and then it's next move right after that is a charge. Roll out of the way of it charging and just run behind it while it's claws are stuck in the ground. Quickly shoot it in the back with your AK. Once it gets unstuck quickly run away and repeat the process until it is defeated. Don't try to target and roll away to dodge it's charge attack as you are more likely to get hit at times. (Note: When you face future spiders you can Use your targeting button (R1) to target it and when it charges at you roll to either side quickly before it hits you (I usually roll left). Doing this will usually place you almost directly behind them.) Scene ******************************* * XV. Abandoned Subway System * ******************************* Scene ------------------------ Location "Subway Access" ------------------------ ~ Go to the end of this corridor and get the ammo before going down the ladder (don't bother with the wooden boxes they are empty). ~ Slide down this ladder (with X) to avoid most of the fire and then climb out of this shaft behind you. --------------------------------- Location "North District Station" --------------------------------- ~ Follow the corridor to your left and then go towards the subway tracks to your right (Use the Checkpoint straight ahead if you need to). ~ Look to your right and you will see a locked gate. Use your scanner on the padlock and then shoot it off. ~ Go in and you will notice this power station needs a power cell. ~ Go out of the gate and Drop down to the subway tracks to your right. Follow the tracks to the right. ~ Watch out for the ticks near the door without a valve wheel. ~ Continue down the tracks and you will notice on your radar there is a little room separated from the tunnel you are in to your left. Use your scanner on the wall here and scan it to find out it is a weak wall. ~ Go farther down the tracks and get the valve wheel and explosives to your right in a little opening. ~ Go farther down the tracks. Scene ~ Start backing up and shooting your company that appears. Don't back up too far and turn around because there is two trying to sneak up behind you. ~ Go farther down the tracks to get the ammo and get the power cell in a little opening to your left. ~ Go back to where the weak wall was and use your explosives on it to get some grenades. ~ Go back to the gate with the missing Valve wheel and use the Valve wheel to raise the gate. Get the Power cord that is behind that gate. ~ Go back to the power station and use the power cell on it. Scene ~ Go over to the powered up subway car and use your Power cord on it. ~ Go inside of subway car doors that open. ------------------------------ Location "North Subway Tunnel" ------------------------------ ~ Go left and jump out the other side of the subway car (the rundown subway car reminds me of the Silent Hill 4's Subway cars) ~ Quickly shoot the ticks that show up ahead and then continue down the tracks. ~ Near the end of the tunnel you will notice a corridor on your radar to your right that is separated from the tunnel you are in. ~ Use your scanner on the wall there to find a weak wall. Use your explosives on that wall. ~ Go down this corridor and get the medpack to your left. Use your scanner on the lock of the locked gate and then shoot it off. ~ Use your scanner on the Electric Relay and then use your shocker weapon on it. Scene ~ Go back out to the tunnel to your left (you will have a little company here to deal with) and into the gate that you opened to your right (You will need to get through the gate quickly before it closes or you will have to go and use your shocker weapon on the relay again). ~ Quickly go down the ladder to avoid the flames and go into the door at the bottom of the ladder. ----------------------------- Location "Maintenance Tunnel" ----------------------------- ~ Go to your left and avoid the lasers here by hiding behind pillars with good timing to make it through the next door. ~ Make your way past more lasers in this room the same way and go through the doorway on the far side of this room. ~ You should notice on your radar another small separated from the room you are in to your right with a crack in it. ~ Scan the wall and then use your explosives on it. ~ Get the Valve wheel in here and then use it on the pillar near the door you came in from to raise some pillars. ~ Make your way past the lasers quickly before the pillars sink back into the ground and then go into the door once you reach the other side. ~ Take the ammo and then use the Checkpoint. ~ Quickly go down the ladder and out the doorway at the bottom of the ladder. -------------------------------- Location "Fortune Hills Station" -------------------------------- ~ Go to your left and watch out for a group of arachnid. ~ Follow the tracks down to the subway platform and Watch out for the gun turrets along the way. Climb up on the Subway platform and you will notice a gate with 4 signal lights on the right side of it. There is 4 Electric Relays that you need to hit with your shocker weapon to open up this gate. ~ Look up and to the left of the gate. You should see the first Electric Relay. Use your scanner on it and then use your shocker weapon on it. ~ Look along the wall to the right of the gate. You should see "Fortune Hill" on the wall. Use your Enhanced vision and look above that to see a cloaked Electric Relay (It is right above the final L in Hill). Use your scanner on it and then the shocker weapon on it. ~ Go to the edge of the platform facing the tracks and to your right you should see some ammo in a little fenced in area. Use your Enhanced vision and look above that little fenced in area to find another cloaked Electric Relay. Use your scanner on it and then use your shocker weapon on it. ~ Drop down onto the tracks and go to your left. Follow the tracks down the tunnel to the crashed subway car at the end with the final Electric Relay on it (you can get an adrenaline booster to the left of the car in a little opening). Scene ~ Go into the gate that opened up. ---------------------- Location "Subway Exit" ---------------------- ~ Follow this corridor around to a ladder and climb down it. ***************************** * XVI. Research & Execution * ***************************** -------------------------- Location "TV Control Room" -------------------------- Scene ------------------------ Location "Colony Access" ------------------------ ~ Follow this corridor and get the medpack. ~ Continue down the corridor killing guys up ahead and then go up the stairs to your right. ~ Use the control panel to your left and then go in the door that opens. ------------------------------ Location "Identification Area" ------------------------------ ~ wait for the computer to Identify and turn off the electricity before going into the next door. --------------------------- Location "Colony Reception" --------------------------- ~ Kill the two guys in this room and then go into the door that is in front of you (under the research and execution logo). ------------------------- Location "Office Hallway" ------------------------- ~ Go into the door at the end of this corridor. --------------------------- Location "Chief's Office A" --------------------------- ~ Get the "Research Memo A" next to the Checkpoint. ~ Use the Checkpoint and then save your game (you should be at 83 Percent). ~ Go back out to the "Colony Reception" area. ----------------------------------------- Location "Colony Reception (Second Time)" ----------------------------------------- ~ Go to your left and use the elevator to your left. ~ Go down to the "Chemical Research B1" area. --------------------------------- Location "Research Area A Access" --------------------------------- ~ Go down this corridor killing the guys along the way and go though the door at the end of the corridor. -------------------------- Location "Research Area A" -------------------------- ~ Kill all the guys in this area and then face your back to the door you came out of from. ~ Go to your right and down the hallway here. Go down the stairs to your left and into the door on your left. ---------------------- Location "Biomech Lab" ---------------------- Scene ~ Shoot and kill your new unknown enemy. ~ Go to the corner of the room and pick up the Utility 4 Belt. ~ Take the Level 6 Code key near the door and then use the green control panel to leave this room. ---------------------------------------- Location "Research Area A (Second Time)" ---------------------------------------- ~ Go left down the hallway and use the Checkpoint that you come to on your right. ~ Go back to the Elevator that you got down here with (watch out for the gun turrets down the corridor leading to it) and go up to the " Colony Lobby F1" area. ---------------------------------------- Location "Colony Reception (Third Time)" ---------------------------------------- ~ Go to your right and use the Level 6 Elevator that you find at the far end of this room to your right. ~ Go down to the "Biomechanical Research B1" area. --------------------------------- Location "Research Area B Access" --------------------------------- ~ Do the same as before follow this corridor and kill any guys that you come upon (Stealthfully would be best especially for the second guy). ~ Go into the door at the end of the corridor. -------------------------- Location "Research Area B" -------------------------- ~ Do the same thing you did in "Research Area A". Kill all the guys in this area and then face your back to the door you came out of from. ~ Go to your left and down the hallway here. Go down the stairs to your right and into the door on your right (If you go to the right, down the stairs to the left and into the door to the left you can get some ammo plus compressor weapon in that room). --------------------------- Location "Specimen Storage" --------------------------- Scene ~ Go to the checkpoint in front of you and use it. ~ Look to your right and up. Use your scanner on the padlocks that are on the vent cover on the ceiling. Shoot off the padlocks. ~ Climb up the ladder ------------------- Location "Air Duct" ------------------- ~ Go through this air duct and climb down the ladder you come to on the other side of it. ------------------------ Location "Main Crossway" ------------------------ ~ Kill all the guys in this area and then face your back to the ladder. ~ Go into the door down the corridor to your left (where the tracking signal is at). ----------------------- Location "Control Room" ----------------------- Scene ~ Use the Checkpoint here and then leave this room (take the grenades in the corner if you want). -------------------------------------- Location "Main Crossway (Second Time)" -------------------------------------- ~ Take the explosives near the laser grid ()if you have not already) ~ Go down the corridor to your left and out the door at the end of it. --------------------------------------- Location "Research Area A (Third Time)" --------------------------------------- ~ Kill the guys here and then go down the stairs to your left near the door you came out of. ~ Go into the door to your right. ----------------------- Location "Chemical Lab" ----------------------- ~ Kill the guys in here. ~ Go over to the control panel near the locker with the Anti-Toxin in it and use it. ~ Take the Anti-Toxin and then leave this room. ---------------------------------------- Location "Research Area A (Fourth Time)" ---------------------------------------- ~ Go right and into the door to your left (use your Anti-Toxin before going inside). ---------------------------- Location "Processing Access" ---------------------------- ~ Quickly make your way through this corridor and into the door at the other end. -------------------------- Location "Processing Area" -------------------------- ~ Pick up the Anti-Toxin near the door and then Pick up the Remote trigger near the checkpoint. ~ Use the Checkpoint and leave this room (Use the Anti-Toxin before leaving it). Go back to the "Main Crossway" area (when your in the research area a go to your right and into the door to the right at the top of the stairs). ------------------------------------- Location "Main Crossway (Third Time)" ------------------------------------- ~ Place an explosive on the generator in front of you and then go to the corridor on the far side of this area to do the same at that generator (I recommend placing them near the wall closest to the laser grid). ~ Stand in front of the laser grid blocking the elevator and use the Remote Trigger. ~ Use the green control panel to your right to turn off the lasers and then use the elevator to go up to the "Chief's Office F1" area. --------------------------- Location "Chief's Office B" --------------------------- ~ Take the rockets near the checkpoint and then use the Checkpoint. ~ Go out the door that was unblocked ----------------------------------------- Location "Chief's Office A (Second Time)" ----------------------------------------- ~ Get the "Research Memo B" from that little area that was opened up behind the bookcase. ~ Go out to the "Colony Reception" area. ----------------------------------------- Location "Colony Reception (Fourth Time)" ----------------------------------------- ~ Use the Level 6 Elevator to the right and go down to the "Biomechanical Research B1" area. --------------------------------- Location "Research Area B Access" --------------------------------- ~ Go down the corridor and into the door at the end of it. ---------------------------------------- Location "Research Area B (Second Time)" ---------------------------------------- ~ I recommend using your Sub Machine gun here and kill all the guys that come up the stairs in front of you. ~ Go down the stairs they were coming up and into the door at the bottom of the stairs. -------------------------- Location "Elevator Access" -------------------------- ~ Go to the door at the end of this corridor and take out the gun turret guarding it before using the door. ~ Use the Voice Recognition systems on each side of the door to open it and go inside. ----------------------- Location "Zoo Elevator" ----------------------- ~ Take the Medpack to your right and then use the elevator to go down to the "Zoo B2" area. ~ Take notice of the Emergency door to your right. Go to your left and kill the guy here before going inside the door. --------------------- Location "Zoo Access" --------------------- ~ Kill the guys in this corridor and then use the Checkpoint near the door at the end of the corridor. I recommend also saving your game at this point. ~ Go into the door. ---------------------- Location "Biomech Zoo" ---------------------- ~ You will notice there is weird creatures in here. Go into the door at the other end of this corridor. ----------------------------- Location "Candy Floss's Lair" ----------------------------- ~ Boss Battle "Candy Floss" You will notice he has a bubble shield protecting him and he will be throwing green gas in your direction. Keep moving around the room (circling around him is what I normally do just try to keep him away from you) and avoid the green gas. You should see in each corner of this room a shield generator. You need to take out the active ones (the ones giving off light) to knock out his shield. Use your Shocker weapon on the Shield Generator to take it down. Once his shield is down go into enhanced mode and shoot him. He will also send metal minion playmates for you. You will want to try to just concentrate all your fire power on him. If they are in your way just kill them off. The lower his health goes the more shield generators will turn on. When you have 3 or four generators on you will want to drain some of them partially of power before taking out all of them. You do this because if you take to long to take them out he will turn them back on. Keep taking out the shield generators and shoot Candy Floss with the shotgun in Enhanced vision mode once the shield generator(s) are down and you should have no problem defeating him. The disadvantage during this fight is that you won't be able to see him, radar or your health in enhanced mode. Watch out when he sends out his minions because they one usually shows up in front of you and any others are behind or on the side of you. Only use Enhanced mode when you need it otherwise you will have a hard time health wise. Scene ~ Use the Checkpoint and save your game to make sure you don't have to do that battle again. ~ Leave this room the way you came in. ------------------------------------ Location "Biomech Zoo (Second Time)" ------------------------------------ ~ Take out a strong weapon and kill the weird creatures that have escaped from their cages. Don't let them get too close as their swipe attack is quite damaging. Go out the door on the far end. ----------------------------------- Location "Zoo Access (Second Time)" ----------------------------------- ~ Use the Checkpoint and then make your way down the corridor past the ticks and gun turrets into the door at the end. ----------------------- Location "Zoo Elevator" ----------------------- ~ Use the control panel to the right of the Emergency Exit door to open it and go in. Scene ***************** * XVII. Liberty * ***************** -------------------------- Location "Path to Liberty" -------------------------- ~ Follow Leeza's Dad and shoot any ticks/arachnids that show up along the way. ------------------------ Location "Sunken Bridge" ------------------------ ~ Cross over the bridge. Scene ---------------- Location "Foyer" ---------------- ~ You will notice a yellow console to your left. Don't use it yet and instead use the Checkpoint in this room on the opposite of where this yellow console is at. Save your game and then use the Yellow console. ~ This is a random IQ tester. You will need to follow the instructions on the screen fast and accurately to complete it all the questions or challenges that it ask you to do. There is not much other help I can give for this part. If you fail this test it will send out many ticks you will more then likely die from them overwhelming you (you can survive it though I have done it). If you survive try the IQ test again until you pass it. You just need to be a fast reader and have fast eye and hand coordination. Scene ~ Talk about a bad incentive for passing the IQ test. Deal with the 2 big spiders the same way you did with the very large one from arena 3. You will need to keep an eye on both of them and roll out of the way when they charge. Wait until they both have their claws stuck in the ground before shooting one. One full clip from the machine gun usually takes care of them. ~ Once you have defeated them pick up the Neural Transmitters they dropped and use it on the input port near the big door that is near the IQ tester console. Go inside once the door opens. -------------------------- Location "Main Bus Access" -------------------------- ~ Go down the stairs and go into the door at the end of the walkway. ------------------- Location "Main Bus" ------------------- Scene ~ Kill the Spiders in this room and then use the checkpoint in this room. ~ Go to Jack's left and go clockwise around this room. Use the control panel next to the second door that you come to on your left and go into it (the door with the red light flashing above the control panel). Scene ~ You can just quickly run in and hopefully the door closes behind you before the spider even knows what is going on. -------------------------------- Location "Assimilation Access 1" -------------------------------- (Note: I recommend just running past these guys in here if you want to save on ammo) ~ Follow this walkway to the right and then to the left after jumping the gap. You will come to a gap that gets blocked by a pillar. Turn back and go back a little ways on this walkway and jump the new gap to your right. Go into the door at the end of this walkway. -------------------------------- Location "Assimilation Access 2" -------------------------------- ~ Follow the walkway in front of you to the right and it will be blocked off. Go back and jump across the gap to your left (near the door). ~ Go down the path to the left the pillar in the way will move (go to the right if you need ammo). ~ Follow this walkway to a circular elevator and use it to go down to the "Assimilation Chamber Access B1" area. ~ Go out and down the hall to the left. -------------------------- Location "Melting Chamber" -------------------------- (Note: Just avoid the enemies in here and use the control panels to continue on) ~ Once you make it into the large room use the control panel to your right. Make your way around the sides of this large room finding the other 3 control panels to use. Scene ~ Go through the gate that was just blown open for you. -------------------------------- Location "Assimilation Access 4" -------------------------------- ~ Go into the door at the end of this hallway. ------------------------------- Location "Assimilation Chamber" ------------------------------- Scene (You will be hearing voices for awhile now) ~ You should be facing in the direction of the chamber that Leeza. ~ Use the 3 part checkpoint near it to your right. This will open up a Input Port. You will now need to get the Neural Transmitter for it. ~ Go out the door that you have not used yet (facing the chamber leeza was in it is to your left). --------------------- Location "Elevator A" --------------------- ~ Use the elevator in front of you and go to the "Main Bus F1" area. ~ Leave the elevator and go into the door ahead of you. ------------------- Location "Main Bus" ------------------- ~ Go counter clockwise around this main bus area and use the checkpoint in front of the "Presidential Chamber" (The second door to your right). ----------------------------- Location "Presidential Suite" ----------------------------- ~ You can see the President to your left. Go to your right and Neural Transmitter ~ Go back to the "Assimilation Chamber" area (Go back the way you came). Just avoid any enemies you run into along the way. --------------------------------------------- Location "Assimilation Chamber (Second Time)" --------------------------------------------- ~ Use the Neural Transmitter on the Input Port. Scene ~ Quickly get into the elevator (just avoid the enemies that show up) and go down to the "Central Processor B3" area. ---------------------------- Location "Central Processor" ---------------------------- ~ Exit out of the Elevator and head down to the other side of this room. Scene ~ Head back to the elevator. Scene ~ You should be fairly good at beating these spiders by now. Defeat them and continue towards the elevator. ~ Go to your left (where one of the spiders came from) and go into the "Co-Processor A" doorway to your left. -------------------------------- Location "Co-Processor A Access" -------------------------------- ~ Go into the Co-Processor A door. ------------------------- Location "Co-Processor A" ------------------------- Scene ~ Use the Elevator here and go up to the "Synthesis Chamber Access B2" area. --------------------------- Location "Synthesis Access" --------------------------- ~ Follow the walkway ahead to the end and then back track to jump the gap to your left that opens up. ~ Follow this walkway around the corner to the left. Scene ~ Go down the walkway to your left and get the Medpack near the Checkpoint. ~ Use the 3 part Checkpoint panel and then save your game before going in the door near you. ---------------------------- Location "Synthesis Chamber" ---------------------------- Scene ~ Boss Battle "Chris Robot/Jack's Son" First, you need to do is sneak up behind him and shoot him in the back with your shocker weapon until the health bar goes all the way down (you will want to do this by sneaking along the outer wall of this room to not let him notice you quite as fast. I also recommend rolling (while holding L2) as it seems to help you catch up to him faster). Be sure to stand still and fire the shocker weapon to give him it's full effect. You will know when you have drained it completely when you can no longer target his back. Next, use one of your weapons to blast him while rolling out of the way when he charges at you (roll right before he swings his arm at you). When he goes to recharge the suit blast the power cell of the recharger above him with the shocker weapon. The faster you take out that power cell the less health he will regain back. Repeat this method and you will eventually beat him. Scene ----------------------------------------- Location "Synthesis Access (Second Time)" ----------------------------------------- ~ Get the Medpack to your left and use the Checkpoint. ~ Follow the walkway back to the Elevator and use it to go down to the "Co-processor A B3" area. --------------------------------------- Location "Co-Processor A (Second Time)" --------------------------------------- ~ Leave the elevator and go to the door in front of you. ~ A laser will start coming through the room from the other side of this room. Climb up onto the platform you see near you with the grenades on it to get away from that laser. Stay up here until the laser goes back to the wall it came from. Scene (the scene may take a moment before it starts) ~ Drop down and go into the "Co-Processor B" door (near to where the laser came from). -------------------------------- Location "Co-Processor B Access" -------------------------------- ~ At first glance this room looks very easy. You may think all you need to do is crouch anytime that single laser comes at you. If you think that you are only half right. Use your Enhanced vision and you will see what I mean. ~ Get past all the lasers in this room and use the Checkpoint to your left after you get past them. ~ Go in the door you are near. ------------------------- Location "Co-Processor B" ------------------------- ~ Kill all the enemies in this room. Scene ~ Proceed through the Co-processor bus door (If the door is still protected by lasers you better look around the room more for more enemies). --------------------------- Location "Co-Processor Bus" --------------------------- ~ I recommend just running\rolling down this walkway and go into the next door (If you are unsure why I say this walk a little forward and you will find out about the 2 rocket launcher turrets). ~ Quickly get into the door before they fire at you. ------------------------- Location "Co-Processor C" ------------------------- ~ Kill all the enemies in this room (If the door is not blocked look around the room more.. Scene ~ Go into the door you unblocked. -------------------------------- Location "Co-Processor D Access" -------------------------------- ~ Use your Enhanced Vision again here to get past the lasers in this corridor. ~ Use the checkpoint to your left and then go into the door here. ------------------------- Location "Co-Processor D" ------------------------- ~ Stand on the platform to your right quickly and shoot all the arachnids here. Scene ~ Go into the door you unblocked. -------------------------------- Location "Co-Processor D Access" -------------------------------- ~ Go out the big door ahead (don't worry no lasers in this corridor). ---------------------------- Location "Central Processor" ---------------------------- ~ Two of your favorite enemies are in this room. ~ Kill them off and take their Neural Transmitters from them. ~ Use the Transmitters on the Input ports that are exposed. ~ Go into the elevator that opens up and use it to go down to the "Core Antechamber B4" area. --------------------- Location "Elevator C" ---------------------- ~ Exit out of the Elevator and head into the big door ahead of you. ------------------------ Location "Core Anteroom" ------------------------ ~ Go into the door ahead and you will come to a big room with some tiles on the floor. ~ Go over to the Checkpoint and use it twice. ~ Use your scanner plus Enhanced vision and zoom up to the floor trigger map above the big door near the checkpoint. (Note: I hope at least some of you will understand my explanation of this puzzle) ~ You will notice there is red squares and white squares on it. This shows you what each tile in the room is (The red one in the upper right corner is the tile closest to the checkpoint). To solve this puzzle all you need to do is step on all the white or red tiles depending on which you want to do first. You might say that sounds easy enough and if you try that you may ask why doesn't it work. It does not work because you have to step on the tiles in a certain way. Think of it as connecting the dots. Pretend that when you walk from tile to tile you are drawing a imaginary line. You need to connect all the white tiles together in a row with that imaginary line without crossing over any of the red tiles or crossing over already lit up white tiles (or red tiles depending on which ones you are doing first). The same goes for the red tiles (connect all of them without crossing over white tiles or red tiles that are already lit up). Go inside the door and get the Neural Transmitter. ~ GO back to the checkpoint and reset it to do the red tiles. ~ Once you have stepped on all the red tiles a door will open. Go inside the door and get the Neural Transmitter. ~ Use the Neural Transmitters on the door that is next to the checkpoint and then go inside. --------------- Location "Core" --------------- Scene ~ Boss Battle "Generator" There is four main steps to this battle: 1. Shoot the metal shell protecting the generator in the center of the room. Avoid the lasers by moving with the walls as cover for the lasers or roll past the lasers. I recommend waiting until the wall stops moving before coming out and shooting at the metal shell of the generator. If you hear an alarm at anytime during this battle you will want to take cover behind the one of the moving walls because the generator is firing rockets at you. 2. Once you have exposed the Generator you need to use your Shocker weapon on it. 3. Once you depleted the generator's health bar it will activate the console panels on the moving walls. Go and pick up all the ammo you can while there is no lasers and then use the control panel. 4. This is similar to the IQ Test the only difference here is you need to press the sequence of buttons it shows you quickly and accurately. Don't pay attention to the timer just concentrate on putting in the correct button sequences (when it shows arrow keys use the D-pad to push in that direction). If you correctly put in all the button sequences the wall will raise. If you don't put it in correctly the wall will stay there and you will have to use your shocker weapon on the generator again to activate the control panels again. ~ The good news that comes out of making a wall go up is that you are one step closer to beating this final boss. The bad news is that you are one wall short for defending against the lasers and whenever you raise a wall the amount of lasers increase (not to mention the walls seem to move faster). Once you have raised one wall you will need to repeat step 1 all over again (take out the metal shell, Shock the generator, Use the control panel and input the button sequences). ~ Once you have raised all four walls your work is done.
