Dark Illusions ########################### Dark illusions are very powerful traps, that can be activated 1 time every stage, you don't set them youself like normal traps, but curtain conditions must be done, in order for them to work. They are recorded in the museum, under Dark illusions., once you avtivate it for the first time. 5.a) The Devil Trapez ------------------------ Location: Old Castle (Entry Hall) How to do it: - Ignite all 4 flames spouts, located around the wooden crate at the bottom of the stairs, to do this its recommended that you place a Flare rock, or a Fireball trap on top of them. - Then place a vacuum floor, or bear trap, between the 2 electric pillars, but as close to the right stair case as possible. - Then set a trap near the activation switch at the top of the stairs. - Now lure the enemy into the trap in between the 2 pillars you set earlier. - Run about half way up the stairs, and activate the activation switch at the top of the stairs, setting off the electricity. - Run to run the middle of the room, at the top of the stairs, to the pulley(Make sure the Victim is still frying in the electricity when you reach the pulley). - And watch the cool cut-scene! 5.b) Feast For The Beast --------------------------- Location: Old Castle (Guardroom) Extra note: This was probably the hardest one to activate, in my opinion, so beware! How to do it: - You will see a water-wheel surrounded by water, so first of all place a Sparkrod trap, in the water, that surrounds the water-wheel. - Place a Pendulum in the water, so if a enemy got hit by it they would fly into in water-wheel. - Now lure the enemy into water, so they are a position to hit by the Pendulum. - As soon as you do the last step, activate the Sparkrod Trap you set earlier(Make sure your out of the water), which will shock them, and make the water-wheel spin faster. - While the shocks still going through the water, activate the Pendulum, which should make the enemy go flying into the spikes, of the water-wheel. - And enjoy the Dark Illusion Cut-Scene. 5.c) Human Cannonball ------------------------ Location: Old Castle (War Room) How to do it: - First set an Vacuum floor trap, adjacent to the cannon on the stairs. - Then place a push wall trap, adjacent Vacuum floor trap, on the wall. - Immobilize the enemy with the floor trap, as the run up the stairs. - Before you activate the push wall, activate the switch for the cannon.(Yellow diamond thingy) - then use the Push Wall trap pushing the victim into the cannon. - And Enjoy. Extra note: Make sure you activate the activation switch before you push the enemy into the cannon. 5.d) The Man-Eating Music Box ---------------------------------- Location: Mansion (Hall) Extra note: This is probably the easiest to activate out of all the dark illusions, and you can activate this at the very start of the game, this is probably my personal favourite. How to do it: - 1st of all, you need to light the candles on the right side of the hall using a trap, almost any trap will do. - lure the victim into the bloodstained rectangle area in between the 2 candle stands.(Make sure you DO NOT run into it yourself) - done! Now watch my personal favourite of all the dark illusion, you will now see why I call it my personal favourite. 5.e) Heaven's Judgement -------------------------- Location: Mansion (Belfry) Extra Note: This is also an easy one! How to do it: - There's a ball and chain that drops from the ceiling in regular intervals, place a powerful trap behind it, on the wall side. -When the ball drops activate the trap sending the Ball on the chain, to go flying into the bell destroying the bell in the process. - Now lure the enemy into the circular mark on the ground where the bell was destroyed. - And Enjoy. 5.f) Cry Of The Fallen One ---------------------------- Location: Mansion (Basement Stairs) Extra note1: IF YOU MESS THIS UP YOU MAY HAVE TO START THE LEVEL AGAIN. Extra Note2: Starts regardless of whether or not a victim is in the target area. Extra Note3: This was a let down in my opinion. How to do it: - Set a trap under the Devil's Head that can come lose from the ceiling, but don't activate it yet.(quake bomb, and hellfire are good examples) - set a push wall on the wall aiming towards the Devil's Body at the bottom of the first set of stairs.(Push Walls the only one that I have found to work) - Now dislodge the Devil's Head with the trap you set in the first step. This will cause the head to roll down the stairs -As it is rolling down the stair activate the Push Wall at the right time, so it hits the head and continues down the stairs, and hit the devils body. - Now it should activate, sorry no fancy cut-scene this time. - This activates with luring the enemy into the area, so I ran into it myself just to make sure I got it in the museum. 5.g) Seal Of Eternity ---------------------- Location: Sealed Room Extra note1: This only works against the final boss Malphas. Extra note2: If you use this on yourself its instanced death. How to do it: - Knock down all four spiked pillars at the top of the room, using particular any trap, that has an area bigger then 1 square. - All you need to do now, is lure the Malphas into the purple glowing rectangle to activate this dark illusion. Extra note3: You can only inflicted damage on this boss after you activate this dark illusion. 5.h) The Fated Shredding --------------------------- Location: Palace(Clock Hall) How to do it: -1st you need to activate the pendulum behind the clock. Doo this by either hitting it with a trap, or knocking an enemy into it. I found it easier to run into it yourself(But will take damage that way, but not much). - Then you will need to set an immobilization trap(LikeBear Trap, or Vacuum floor) on the yellow square, on the bridge. - Now lure the enemy onto the yellow square, and activate the trap. - While they are stuck on the sqaure, quick run behide the bridge and activate the yellow switch. - Done! ########################### 6.
