There are two types of skaters, vert skaters and street skaters. Vert skaters are better in the air, and street skaters have more balance. Depending on which type you choose, the goals and locations of S-K-A-T-E will be different accordingly to the skater's skill. +------------+ -----+ A) FOUNDRY +----- +------------+ In my eyes, the foundry is divided up into rows. First, there's the general starting area that has quarterpipes and suchlike, then there's a halfpipe, then the two molten pools, which is then connected by three pipes to a long quarterpipe, and at the back there's a huge clear space with platforms, ramps and stuff. High Score - 10,000 Pro Score - 30,000 Sick Score! - 60,000 For vert skaters, the halfpipe near the start should suffice. If you're a street skater, use the rails and edges along the sides of the level. Find The Hidden Tape After you unjam 5 valves, an elevator on the right side near the front will open up. Ride up the elevator and go to the very back secret area. There, you'll see a ramp leading down to the rest of the level with the hidden tape just hovering above. Jump off the ramp to grab it. Collect S-K-A-T-E (vert) S - Above the halfpipe that's near the starting point. You'll have to jump over the hp first to get it though. K - On the right wall. Use the quarterpipe against the wall that's behind the elevator to get it. A - Also on the right wall. Use the quarterpipe that's farther behind the quarterpipe used to get K. T - Behind the molten pools, there's a long quarterpipe perpendicular to the side walls. On the left and back side, jump to reach it. E - In front of the halfpipe where the S is, there's a small quarterpipe on the left side. Jump up that quarterpipe to get the E. Collect S-K-A-T-E (street) S - It's sitting on the ledge in front of the elevator. Grind the edge or run off it to grab the S. K - On the right side near the back. Grind up the long yellow rail and jump to get it. A - At the middle back of the level, near the magma falls. Jump from the ramp or the lower platform to grab it. The most accurate way to get it is to grind the edge and jump the small ramp. T - It's on a rail on the very left side of the level, near the magma pools. Grind the rail or jump at it. E - In the halfpipe near the start point. Either run off the outside of the hp or run up the inside of the pipe. Melon Over The Halfpipe (vert) The halfpipe's quite near the starting point, and it's pretty big, so you'll need to build up some speed. Then, simply jump over the halfpipe and do a melon by pressing left+R. 50-50 TC's Rail (street) TC's Rail is located between the molten pools. Grind it with a BS 50-50 by pressing A with no direction. Un-Jam 5 Valves You have to unjam 5 valves by grinding over them. 3 of the valves are located on the right side, so just ride along, find them and grind them. The next one is located on the back wall on the left side. The last valve is on the middle pipe behind the molten pool area, near the T. Drain The Molten Pools Ride the elevator to the top, and head towards the back. After landing in the secret area at the back, look for a switch on the back wall in the middle. Do a lip trick on it to pull it down and drain the molten pools. Wallride The Magma Falls On the back wall of the level, there's a grate in front of the magma falls. Jump off the tiny ramps on either side platforms at a slight angle towards the grate and wallride it. Easier said than done though. Stat Points 1) Floating in the air above the right back side of the halfpipe. 2) Above the back of the right molten pool. Drain the pools, hop in, and jump up to get it. 3) In the large empty area near the back, there's a long quarterpipe with a gap in it. Jump and bridge the gap to collect the stat point floating above it. 4) The quarterpipe behind the molten pools is divided by the three pipes. Jump off the qp and bridge the divide to collect the stat point floating above it. 5) Ride the elevator up. Build up some speed in the quarterpipe area first, and then grind the middle yellow rail that's heading toward the back. Jump off at the end to get the stat point. Deck Before you get the deck, you'll have to boost your air, hangtime and speed stats. To get the deck, jump off the back side of the halfpipe with such speed and angle towards the right that you somehow get the deck :) Or you can grind the rail above the quarterpipe against the wall (start from the rail with the valve) and then let yourself hit the bright red column and you'll fall right into the deck. Complete 5 goals to move on to Suburbia. +-------------+ -----+ B) SUBURBIA +------ +-------------+ Suburbia is pretty much divided into three areas. On the back left side, there's a bunch of old buildings and ramps and a halfpipe on the left wall. On the front left side, there's a construction site. On the right side, there's newer houses. High Score - 35,000 Pro Score - 70,000 Sick Score! - 120,000 For both vert and street skaters, I recommend the old houses area. You can grind along the edges of buildings connected by string, and there's plenty of quarterpipes to boot. Find The Hidden Tape After you help the thin man, you'll open up his backyard. Go down the new alley that's in front of his house. At the end, jump off the quarterpipe at an angle towards the back so you land in his secret backyard. Jump into the back right pool, then jump out of it by holding up and grind onto the copper coloured bar at the back left of the pool. Kinda difficult. Grind towards the right, jump off at the end, jump off the end of the house and grab the tape. Collect S-K-A-T-E (vert) S - Visible from the beginning. Go up to the quarterpipe next to the start to grab it. K - In the construction area, there's a long wooden ledge in the house structure. The K is located on it. A - On the right side near the front, there's an area with ramps, rails and quarterpipes. In front of the the pool near the barbecue is one of the quarterpipes, and above that qp is the letter A. T - Go down the streen from the start, and turn when you see the Utopia sign. The T should be visible from there. Use the quarterpipe facing you to get it. E - Behind where the thin man is, is a quarterpipe with the E above it. Collect S-K-A-T-E (street) S - If you just go down the street to the Utopia sign, you'll noticed it has a string connected to it. Above this string is the letter S. Anyways, turn into the old houses area when you see the Utopia sign, and then up the ramp on the building where the other end of the string is connected. Then, grind the string down and collect the S. K - Go to the right of the building which you just went on to get the S. Just follow the L-shaped building and you should see the K hanging above a gap between to quarterpipes. Transfer the qps and grab it. A - In the construction area, at the back end near the right, there's a quarterpipe with the A above it. T - Behind the red house is an entrance to the backyard. The T is just to the left of this entrance. Grind the planter and jump. E - On the other side of the house is another entrance created by a wooden board. Grind this board or simply jump over it to get the E. Nosegrab 'Tween The Ramps (vert) If you watch the demo, you should be able to find the ramp. Just go down the street, and then turn when you see the Utopia sign. Then turn right before the quarterpipes and you'll head straight for the gap. Do a nosegrab by pressing up+R while jumping across the ramps. Heelflip The Pickup Hop (street) The trailer is near the back middle of the old building area. You should be able to locate it by watching the demo. Anyways, just jump over the pickup from front to back or vice versa and do a heelflip (right+L) in the air. Smash 5 Pumpkins 1) On the left wall right next to the start. Go up the ramp to hit it. 2) Go down the street from the start, and turn when you see the Utopia sign. You should be able to see the wall with quarterpipes on both sides of it. On top of that wall is a pumpkin. Just go up the qp to hit it. 3) Go down the street from the start, and keep going straight. When you get to the red house, you should see a pumpkin sitting on a ledge. Smash it. 4) Sitting next to the thin man. 5) Near the right of the barbecue, there's a bench with a pumpkin on it. Help The Thin Man On the back side of the construction site, you'll see an axe. Grab it and bring it back to the thin man near the back right corner. Make sure you don't fall, or you'll lose it. Feed the Hungry Hobo First, get a hotdog from the barbecue behind the nice red house. Then, go to the old houses, and near the back left corner, you'll see an old guy sitting against a building. Give 'em the hotdog. Stat Points 1) To the right of the hobo is a quarterpipe on a building leading up to a stat point. 2) On the very right side of the old houses area, there's a small wall with quarterpipes on both sides. Use a qp to get the stat point located above this wall. 3) At the end of the alley which opens up after you help the thin man, there's a quarterpipe with a stat point floating above it. 4) In the area in front of the barbecue, on the very right wall near the front corner, there's a quarterpipe with a stat point above it. 5) In the construction area, there's a giant pool in the front left corner. In the back right corner of that pool is a stat point. Jump up to get it. Deck Follow the street on the right side down to near the front. There, you'll see an alleyway going farther right. Travel down there, and at the end is a quarterpipe with the deck above it. Complete 12 goals to go on to the next level, Rio. +--------+ -----+ C) RIO +----- +--------+ The Rio level is a competition. It's basically one big park of pipes, ramps, rails, etc. If you want to get a gold, you should try to get over 50,000. The pooled area in the middle of the level is awesome, whether you're a vert or street skater. You can either grind or jump up the pool edges, and there's lots of gaps to find, which'll boost your score. Don't forget to use your rider's special tricks; methinks the judges love that. Stat Points 1) To the right of the start point. Just grind the rail and jump. 2) If you go around the block that's in front of you from the start, you'll find a pool and should be able to see stat points #2 and #3. One of them is above a long ramp from that first block. To get this one, jump from one of the quarterpipes perpendicular the ramp. 3) Near the front middle of the skate park there's blocks with quarterpipes around them. You should be able to see the stat point between them. Just jump from the front of one qp to the front of the other qp. 4) In the very front part of the skatepark, there are blocks like you saw in #3, and there's and a stat point floating off to the right of them. You'll have to jump off the quarterpipe at an angle to get it. Remember that the curved part will throw you off. Win a medal (third or higher) from this competition to unlock the Airport. +------------+ -----+ D) AIRPORT +----- +------------+ The Airport is basically four floors connected by long escalators, stairs and flat ramps. The top two floors are pretty bland, but the bottom two are busy with people, neat-o airport-like stuff and tons of things to grind on. High Score - 55,000 Pro Score - 110,000 Sick Score! 200,000 The airport is like a haven for street skaters. There are a helluva lot of benches, railings and counters to grind on. Catch some air to do your skater's specials and this shouldn't be too hard. Vert skaters, there's always the halfpipe in the secret airplane area, but using the same strategy as street skaters still works great. Find The Hidden Tape From the start, turn towards the quarterpipes behind you and jump onto the ledge above. You might have to grind and let yourself fall on the side. Go towards the right, turn, and at the end, jump and get the tape. Collect S-K-A-T-E (vert) S - Right behind you at the start. Jump across the quarterpipes to get it. K - Down one floor from the start, there's a quarterpipe on the front right side. Jump up it to reach the K. A - Down another floor, there's these weird quarterpipes that are supposed to be those boards giving you info on flights. Anyways, above the one on the right is the letter A. You oughtta know what to do by now. T - On the bottom floor, against the back wall to the right of the stairs and escalators are two quarterpipes. Between and above them is the T. You know what to do .... E - On the bottom floor against the middle of the right wall is a quarterpipe with the E above it. Collect S-K-A-T-E (street) S - From the start, head towards front middle where the stairs are. Grind down the right rail and you'll get the S. K - On the second-to-top floor, there's two round benches. On the front one, there's the letter K. Jump at it or grind the bench. A - Between the two middle floors, there's a staircase. Grind the front-most rail and you'll get it. T - Between the two bottom floors, there are escalators. Grind the right side of the right escalator to get the T. E - On the bottom level, there's a bench on the very left side with the E above it. This one might be a little tricky, because you have to grind the back of it, not the seat, and you have to go kinda slowly and then jump. If you're too fast, you'll miss it. Airwalk Over The X-Ray Machine (vert) The X-Ray machine is on the next-to-bottom floor. At the back wall, you'll see a quarterpipe with ramps on both sides. Grind and jump across the ramps and do an airwalk by pressing down+down+R in the air. Crooked Grind South Bench (street) The south bench is in the very front left corner of the bottom floor. Grind it with an FS or BS Crooked or Overcrook (up+right+L or up+left+L, depending on which way you're facing). Find The Lost Skateboard On the bottom floor, there's two conveyor belts going around and around. And on these conveyor belts, there's five suitcases, two on the left belt and three on the right. Run into all five suitcases to unlock a new deck and complete this goal. Bring Tickets To The Family The tickets are on the top floor, right side, on the counter. Grind the counter or jump over it to get the tickets. The family is on the bottom floor, in the front middle. And remember, don't drop the tickets. Grind Over The Airplane Go back to where the X-ray machine is. Hold up and jump off the quarterpipe there to smash through the glass to enter a secret area where the plane is. Grind one wing of the plane, and then jump and land in a grind on to the other wing. Stat Points 1) When you jump over the X-ray machine (vert) or try to jump into the secret area, you should be able to catch this stat point too. 2) On the bottom floor, in the front right corner is a quarterpipe with a stat point above it. 3) Above the right conveyor belt. You can just jump off the conveyor belt and get it if you have enough speed and good stats 4) In the secret airplane area, at the back right corner there's a qp with a stat point above it. Complete 20 goals to advance to the next level, L.A. +---------+ -----+ E) L.A. +----- +---------+ L.A. is basically four blocks separated by two roads intersecting each other. Just to make things a little easier for me, I'll be referring to these areas like so: . , ` , ` 1 ,` 2 `, 3 ` ` , ` , ` 4 `, ` . High Score - 75,000 Pro Score - 150,000 Sick Score! - 300,000 The fastest, easiest and cheapest way to get a sick score is to go to the 2nd area and jump from the rounded outside rims of the four planters there. If you're willing to take a risk, do a trick in the air quickly. Keep it up for a big long chain that could potentially multiply your score by almost twentyfold. Find The Hidden Tape After you complete the earthquake gap goal, a new quarterpipe will appear next to the start. Jump up this qp with speed and grind up the short metal bar. Jump off and on to the street. This might take some practice. Then, jump back down onto the roof of the building to the right of the start. Go along the roof, and pick up some speed. After the bend, grind the second rail you see. You should be turned onto a black wire. Just keep grinding until the very end (this'll take awhile), and then jump off and get the tape. Even with high speed and great balance, this is very hard. But I've found something that might help a bit. Fall off the wire and onto the next building after the white one (the roof is green and grey). Then, go to the back, turn around, pick up speed and just before the roof ends, grind the wire. Don't forget to jump off :) Collect S-K-A-T-E (vert) S - In the 2nd area, at the back, above a quarterpipe. K - From the S, go left. It's hovering between two quarterpipes on the left side near the corner. Jump across them. A - Go forward from the K, but remain behind the block that says "Car Wash". It's above another quarterpipe in that back road area. T - The T is on top of the car wash block, still in the same area. Use a qp to jump on top, then get into the halfpipe. It's above the halfpipe on the left side. E - In the middle of the road between areas 2 and 4. Use the sign board in area 2 to launch up and grab it. Collect S-K-A-T-E (street) S - Watch the demo. Grind the rail just in front. K - In the 1st area, on the bottom edge by the street, there's a rail with the a K above it. Grind that rail. A - Across the street from area 3, near the front right corner, it's just above the sidewalk. Jump up and grab it. T - On the front middle side of area 4, the T floats between a long ramp and a table. Grind the front rail of the ramp and jump or jump off the table. E - On the left side of area 4, there's another long ramp. At the top of the ramp, there's the E. Grind the rail on the ramp or the rail above to get it. Tailgrab Over The Divider (vert) In the front right corner of the 3rd area, there's a sunken area with a quarterpipe, a divide, and a skinny quarterpipe in front of that. Make sure you can see the skinny qp first before you try this. What you have to do is a tailgrab by pressing down+R while jumping from the qp to the skinny qp or vice versa. To get to the skinny qp, go in front of the purple ramp opposite the pipes. Bluntslide The Monster (street) In area 4, there's a nice big dinosaur in the middle of it. Grind it with a bluntslide or a nosebluntslide (down+down+A or up+up+A). Find 4 Earthquake Gaps 1) In the 1st area, on the front edge by the street, there's a rail with earthquake marks on the sidewalk underneath. Grind that rail. 2) In the 2nd area, at the left side, there are quarterpipes lining the side and the car wash. On the car wash quarterpipes, you should see earthquake marks lining both of them. Jump the gap between the qps. 3) In the 4th area. You should be able to find it by watching the demo. It's on the back right side of the low, open space. Wallride the grey wall with the earthquake marks 4) Across the street to the right of the 3rd area, there's a quarterpipe with earthquake marks on it (find it yourself). Do a plant on it. Lights, Camera, Action! This incredibly hard line gap has three parts. Lights) On the right side of the 4th area, there's stairs. Pick up some speed and special, and then grind back to front, the leftmost rail of those stairs. Before the rail dips down, jump and grind the black beams. Land in a manual and head leftbound. Camera) To the left of Lights, there's a an anchored camera. Grind it, and make sure the manual connects it. It's possible to jump straight from Lights to Camera though. Keep grinding along the trailers, and then jump off when the door of the trailer turns you into a new direction. Action) The door should put your right in line with the top of the dinosaur. Grind down the dino, et voila! :) This line gap will take some practice, but it mostly takes time. Stop The Pickpockets Basically you gotta crash into five pickpockets They're dressed in all black. 1) Right next to you when you start 2) In the 2nd area, walking around behind and to the left of the car wash. 3) In the 2nd area, walking forward and backward to the right of the car wash block. 4) In the 4th area, walking around the back of the large open space. 5) In the 3rd area, walking around in the sunken portion on the right by the "Tailgrab Over The Divider" goal (vert). Stat Points 1) Turn around from the start. It's above the gap between two quarterpipes to the right of where you start off. 2) On the front side of area 2, there's some rails annd a stat point floating just off the end. This one is so low you can just jump off the ground or grind the rail and let yourself fall off. 3) In area 4, it's floating between railings on the right side. Again, this one is low enough for you to just jump off the ground or slide off the rail from a grind. 4) In the 3rd area, located on top of a blocky orange C-shaped wall with quarterpipes riding up the opposite sides. Just ride up the side of the front qp and you can reach it. Deck The deck is located on a narrow purple beam held up by columns in the 3rd area. Found it? Good. Now what you have to do is jump up the opposite side of the round C with a girl in it. Then, grind along the beam (doesn't matter which side) until you get the new deck. Complete 28 goals to open up the next level, Tokyo. +----------+ -----+ F) TOKYO +----- +----------+ The second competition and last level in Career, Tokyo is a large, colourful skate park jam-packed with tons of stuff. This park is, IMHO, a street skater's dream. The rails here are amazingly long, and I'm not talking about the ones that go around in circles. Some other notable things are that the objects you trick off of are quite close together, so it's easy to get a wide range of different gaps, link combos with a revert, and move from one trick hotspot to another. It shouldn't be too hard to get gold as long as you don't fall, and score long combos on the rails or using gaps and the revert. Also, the level is symmetrical front-back. Just so's you know. Stat Points 1) When you go down the ramp at the start, you should be able to see this stat point. Grind the yellow rail just under the point from either quarterpipe that it's connected to. 2) Keep going straight from the very start. Don't turn at all. When you get to the quarterpipe that's obstructing your way, just hop over it by holding up on the D-pad. Soon fter that, you should be able to see the stat point floating on another yellow rail. Grind the lefter one and jump to get it. 3) On the very right side near the back (but not in the back right corner area), you should be able to see the shadow of a stat point in a gap between two quarterpipes. Bridge the gap and to grab it. 4) This stat point is against the very back wall in the middle, above a divider between two quasi-pools. Jump off one of the qps at a certain angle while holding up to bridge the divider and nab the stat point. It's quite tricky, I'll admit, but you'll get it. ------------------------.----------------------------.------------------------- ========================| CAREER MODE - SPONSOR TOUR |========================= ------------------------'----------------------------'------------------------- To unlock the Sponsor tour, you must complete ALL goals and win both gold medals in Pro tour. Good luck! The Sponsor tour is very similar to the Pro tour. The only difference is the locations of S-K-A-T-E, a few goals, and hidden tapes. Therefore, I will only list how to accomplish changed goals, as I refuse to repeat myself. And just so you understand what I'm saying when I refer to the back, front, right and left sides of the levels, here's a crappy picture of the shape of a level: . back , ` right , ` ` ` , ` , front left ` . +------------+ -----+ A) FOUNDRY +----- +------------+ Find the Hidden Tape The hidden tape is high in the air between the molten pools. After draining the molten pools, jump into one of them, and then hop back out by holding up. When doing this, jump towards the tape. Don't forget to build up speed, angle yourself correctly and don't overshoot it. Collect S-K-A-T-E (vert) S - In the halfpipe near the start. Just jump up the back side to get it. K - The K might be hard to see at first, but it's high above the rail going up the molten pool area on the front side. You'll have to jump across the gap between the two quarterpipes on the side. A - In front of the halfpipe on the left side, there's a quarterpipe with the shadow of the A on it. Get some speed and jump up that qp. This can actually be pretty hard, because you'll need lots of speed and an accurate angle. T - On the left side of the long quarterpipe between the molten pools and the open area at the back, you should be able to see this letter. Jump up the back side of the qp. E - On the back side of the molten pool area is a long quarterpipe, just like the one where T is. Jump over the three pipes by using that qp and you'll grab the E. Collect S-K-A-T-E (street) S - Watch the demo. To get it, jump up from the further quarterpipe on the right side and grind the rail. Quickly jump to get the S. K - It's at the back of the level, right in front of the magma falls. Jump across the gap. A - In the middle front of the level, or just to the left of the start, there's a curved incline down towards the halfpipe. Above it is the A. On the sides are two quarterpipes. Jump across the qps at a steep angle, but make sure you still go off the rim of the qp. This is actually pretty hard, 'cause the gap is big, and the qps face away from you. T - Go up the elevator. Grind the middle of the yellow rails going back and then jump off at the end to get the T. E - Get to the secret area at the back. On the left side, you'll see the E just floating off outside of that area. To get it, you'll have to jump off the quarterpipe at an angle and over the yellow rail. But keep your jump low by not jumping off the rim, or you'll overshoot it. Stat Points 1) This one's visible from the start. To get it, just jump over the flat platfrom under the stat point by holding up while jumping from either quarterpipe. 2) Ride up the elevator. The stat point is floating above the gap between the quarterpipes sandwiching the pathway heading back. Jump across this gap to get it. 3) Ride the elevator. Gain speed by grinding rails and head towards the back. Now, this is kinda tricky. When you jump across Tiny's Gap, land in a grind on the right rail. At the end, jump and you should at least see the stat point, if not grab it. An alternative method is to jump Tiny's Gap and then stop yourself on the platform. Then, align yourself with care, grind the right rail and then jump. 4) Go to the long quarterpipe behind the molten pools. This stat point is at the back side, above the gap in the qp created by the three pipes. Bridge this gap by using the qp (duh). Deck Against the right wall before the long incline to the back, there are two long quarterpipes. High above the gap between these two qps is the deck. To get it, ride up the elevator and then jump off the left side of the area where the quarterpipes are. I did it by jumping over the yellow rail at an angle. Complete 7 goals to move on to Suburbia. +-------------+ -----+ B) SUBURBIA +------ +-------------+ Find the Hidden Tape Go into the thin man's backyard. At the left side, there's a quarterpipe. Use it to get onto the roof to the left, where there's a weird halfpipe. Jump out of this hp from the back side, and you should then land into another halfpipe higher up. Jump up the right back side to grab the hidden tape. Collect S-K-A-T-E (vert) S - From the start, jump over the low in the gate to the right. You should be able to find the S by watching the demo. Then, just jump up the qp under the S to get it. K - At the right corner of the level, near the barbecue, there's an array of quarterpipes against the wall. Above a divider is the letter K. Jump over the divider by using one of the qps. A - Above the right side of the path leading into the thin man's backyard, but near the road. Go into the red house's backyard, wallride the thin man's blue shed at the back, jump and grind the top of the fence between the two houses. Jump when the fence splits, and then jump at the end. Quite difficult. T - In the front right corner of the old building area, you'll see the T. Just jump up the quarterpipe beneath it. E - At the back side of the construction area, there's a quarterpipe facing the back. Simply jump up it. Collect S-K-A-T-E (street) S - From the start, get into the mini skate park in the backyard of the red house. Then, head up a ramp that leads onto the roof. Jump on the roof and head down the left part. Jump at the S. K - Go to where the thin man is. To the left of him is the K. Perpendicular to the stairs are stubby edges around the walkway. You can grind them if you jump when you're near them. Anyways, jump from a grind on either edge that's perpendicular to the stairs. A - Near the middle right of the old area, there's the letter A sitting on a string. Get up onto one of the houses connected to this string, and then grind it. T - In the middle back of the construction site, you'll see the T sitting on the frame of the house. To the right of the T is a quarterpipe, which you may use to get up and grind the frame. E - From the start, turn around and go into the alley in the corner. Halfway down, you'll see the E. To get it, grind the front dumpster that sticks out and then jump at the end. Smash 5 Pumpkins 1) Turn around from the start and you'll see an alley. Go down it, and at the end, jump slightly off the quarterpipe and grind the fence rightways towards the front. The pumpkin's sitting on the fence, and you should've seen it when you were going down the alley. 2) To get the one seen in the demo, go up the ramp to the left of the quarterpipe under the pumpkin. Then, smash into it. 3) Go into the thin man's backyard. At the left side, there's a quarterpipe. Use it to get onto the roof to the left, where there's a weird halfpipe. Jump out of this hp from the front side, and then run into the pumpkin near the edge. Go slowly for this one. 4) Near the middle right of the old area, there's a pumpkin at the top of long box with a quarterpipe on the long edge and a ramp behind it. Forgive me for the bad description. If you're a vert skater, watch the demo for Nosegrab 'Tween the Ramps, and you might see it. 5) In the construction area, it's sitting on the wooden frame near the front of the new house. Go up the quarterpipe to the left of it, and then grind towards it. Help the Thin Man The axe is still in the construction area, but now it's located at the top of a quarterpipe in the back right hand corner. To get up to that qp, you must grind the board at the front right of the house structure and then quickly jump off when you get angled towards the platform. Once you're on, stop yourself and then jump up the qp. Stat Points 1) After helping the thin man, jump into his backyard and you should get this easy stat point. Just don't overshoot it. 2) Go up the ramp mentioned in pumpkin #1. From atop the quarterpipe, you can jump onto the roof of the red house. Go towards the left, and grind the apex of the roof. Jump off at the end. 3) On the left side of the old building area, near the icky halfpipe, the stat point sits on top of a building. Get on top of the building by going up a ramp on either side. Deck Go into the thin man's backyard. At the left side, there's a quarterpipe. Use it to get onto the roof to the left. There's a weird halfpipe on his roof, and above the front side is the deck. Jump up and grab it. Complete 15 goals to go on to the next level, Rio. +--------+ -----+ C) RIO +----- +--------+ Stat points 1) From the start, go backwards down the ramp and the left down another ramp into the pool area. You should see a stat point. Get it by jumping from the front side of one of the quarterpipes against the ramps on either side (phew). This might be kinda tricky, 'cause it's easy to overshoot or jump over it. 2) Go to the place where you used to start back in Pro mode (it's the back side of the park, in case you forgot). There, is a stat point floating above a ramp sandwiched by two quarterpipes. Transfer the qps. 3) At the back right corner of the park, there's a stat point floating on a telephone wire. To get up to the wires, you need to first find one of the four blocks that are like the ones you start on. Then, jump from a *slanted* ramp on the sides before you hit the flat part. Angle yourself towards the wire and grind. Don't worry, it's easier than it sounds. Win a medal (third or higher) from this competition to unlock the Airport. +------------+ -----+ D) AIRPORT +----- +------------+ Find the Hidden Tape Bust into the secret airplane area. Jump into the airplane, and then simply jump up the back left and get the tape. Collect S-K-A-T-E (vert) S - From the start, just turn around and bridge the gap between the quarterpipes behind you. You'll have to jump pretty high. K - Go down to the second-to-top floor. On the back left side near the back escalator you should see the K just off of the edge. You can just crash into the railing :) or you can do it the proper way and jump up the quarterpipe underneath. A - On the left side of the second-to-bottom floor, the letter A hovers above the curved flight info boards. Simply jump to it from either side of the white boards. T - The T is on the bottom floor, up against the left back wall. Find two large quarterpipes against the back wall and jump across them. E - On the bottom floor against the right wall, there's two quarterpipes. Again, jump across them. Collect S-K-A-T-E (street) S - From the start, turn around, jump up a quarterpipe and onto the ledge above. Run along wall and at the end, jump. K - On the second-to-top level, go to the back escalator and you'll see the K. Jump at it, or go down and grind back up the escalator. A - It's above the quarterpipe used to get into the secret area. Simply jump up that qp. T - The T is above the south bench you grind in another goal. You'll need to jump off the bench to get it, so grind slowly. E - Against the back right of the bottom floor, there are two large qps and a large gap between them. Bridge the gap and get the E. Stat Points 1) Against the right wall of the second-to-top floor, there's a quarterpipe and a stat point above it. Just jump straight up. 2) Against the back wall by the right in the secret airplane area, there's a quarterpipe and a stat point above it. 3) In the back left corner of the bottom floor, there's quarterpipe and a stat point above it. But instead of using the qp, go to the second-to- bottom floor, and grind the left side of the bench that leads towards the stat point. Jump at the end.
