If you have access to a broadband internet connection then it may be downloaded for free from the PlayStation Store on PSN and the Marketplace on Xbox LIVE provided that you have an account on each service. The full game of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is due out in North America on September 16, 2008, Japan on September 17, 2008 and Europe on September 19, 2008. ---------------------- Default Control Setups ---------------------- X - Saber Attack Y - Force Lightning B - Force Push A - Jump RB - Target Lock LB - Force Dash RT - Force Grip LT - Block LS - N/A RS - Center Camera Start - Game Options Back - Player Options Left Analog - Move Right Analog - Rotate camera D-pad up - Action Camera (N/A in demo) D-pad down - N/A D-pad right - N/A D-pad left - N/A * D-pad = Directional Pad, LS = Push in on left analog, RS = Push in on right analog ---------------------- Starkiller's Move List ---------------------- --> BASIC MOVES - Saber Attack (X) Starkiller swings his saber. - Force Lightning (Y) Starkiller fires force lightning from his hand. - Force Push (B) Starkiller fire forth a blast of force in front of him - this may be charged once enough enemies have been defeated allowing the move to level up. - Jump (A) Starkiller jumps. A double jump may be performed by tapping the A button twice. - Block (LT) Starkiller holds his saber in front of him to block. This may be used to guard against both physical attacks and laser blasts. This will actually reflect a laser attack and the laser actually can hit an enemy. Sometimes lasers will still get through Starkiller's deflection however and he usually cannot block a physical attack and deflect lasers at the same time. - Force Dash (LB on the ground or in the air) Starkiller dashes forward quickly through the power of the force. As noted, this move can be performed in the air. - Force Grip (RT, hold the button to keep object suspended in air) Starkiller lifts the targeted object or enemy into the air. Use the left analog to move the object into the background or foreground and use the right analog to lift the object up or down. The object may be moved from right to left with either analog. Hold in a direction then let go of RT to toss the object in the desired direction. Much like targeting, force grip may be changed to "toggle" through the options menu. See the "Force Grip Combos" below for extra moves that can be performed during a Force Grip. - Target Lock (RB while an object is auto-targeted) Starkiller can target an enemy or object by pressing and holding the R1 button. He can move sideways by tapping to the right or left with the left analog and also perform a sideflip by tapping to the right or left and pressing LB. Targeting is set to "hold" by default, but it may be changed to "toggle". - Sideflip (LB + left analog direction left or right while locked on with RB) Starkiller will move in the tapped direction with a flip while the enemy is locked on to with RB. --> SABER COMBOS Please note that both timed and normal button presses can be performed in a combination, so you can mix up the first two combos. You can also mix timed and normal saber presses into the force push and force lightning combos mentioned further below. - Combo 1 (X, X, X, X) This is Starkiller's most basic combo. All hits consist of single slashes from his saber. - Combo 2 (X, (pause), X, (pause), X, X) The player must pause slightly between the first and second button tap and the second and third button tap in order to perform this combo. Each attack after the first, is composed of a series of saber slashes. - Leaping Slash Air Combo (X, X, X, X [in air]) Starkiller performs four single slashes in the air. If this is performed directly out of an air dash then the combo will automatically begin on the second slash since the dash will cancel the first overhead hit. --> FORCE PUSH COMBOS (Note: The following combos do not take away energy from the force gauge. Some of these may also be used to damage doors slightly.) - Saber Blast (X, B) Starkiller hits the enemy with the saber then charges his hands and lets out a force blast forward. - Saber Sling (X, X, B or X, Y, B) Starkiller ends the combo by swinging his force-powered saber into the enemy, much like a home-run swing. - Saber Slam (X, X, X, B or X, X, Y, B) Starkiller charges his left hand with force power then hits the ground at the end of this combo. His force charged hand produces a shockwave of force power that knocks surrounding enemies into the air. If you can get the proper timing then you can jump right after the force pound then attack the enemy with air slashes. This is a really good combo for crowd control purposes. --> FORCE LIGHTNING COMBOS (Note: The following combos do not take away energy from the force gauge.) - Sith Strike: (X, Y) Starkiller charges his saber with force electricity to deliver an electrical slice to his enemy. - Sith Swipe: (X, X, Y) Starkiller charges his saber with force electricity then performs a spinning slice while stepping forward. - Sith Saber Smash: (X, X, Y, Y or X, X, X, Y or X, Y, X, Y) Starkiller holds his saber behind him and charges it with force electricity then slams the light blade of the saber directly to the ground in front of him. - Sith Slash (X, Y, Y) After performing an electric slice, Starkiller quickly steps forward while the saber is still electrified and performs an uppercut slice. --> FORCE GRIP COMBOS Keep in mind that all of these Force Grip moves can be combined for an even greater rate of damage. Like performing an Impale followed by a Cannonball. - Impale (Lift with RT, X) Starkiller lifts his enemy into the air and tosses his saber at the enemy. The saber impales the enemy while the enemy floats. Starkiller's saber will not return until a few seconds. At that time, he cannot use a physical attack - he is stricken to force attacks for a few moments. - Lightning Grenade (Lift with RT, Y) Starkiller blasts the floating enemy or object with a lightning charge. The lightning charge surrounds the enemy or object and it will detonate when the target is tossed at a wall or other object. - Cannonball (Lift with RT, B) Starkiller charges a force blast and sends it directly toward the enemy while the enemy remains suspended. This works really well as a finisher after the two moves listed above. --> SPECIAL TECHNIQUES - Auto Deflection While moving toward an enemy that is firing laser blasts, Starkiller will deflect the first laser blast automatically with his saber or his hand (through force power) while his saber is equipped. He will usually not deflect the rest unless the enemy stops firing then fires again. This defection can cause the laser blast to bounce back toward an enemy much like it does when Starkiller blocks laser blasts. - Parry (LT the second before a physical attack) If Starkiller blocks right as the enemy is about to hit him then he will parry the attack and the enemy will be momentarily stunned. This can only performed on Militia Troopers in the demo. Militia Elite have a physical attack in their close range gun hit but I can't get a parry of the attack. - Charged Force Push (charge B then release in air or on ground) Starkiller charges his force power then lets loose a powerful blast in front of him. The air version is extremely useful for crowds! This move is really the best choice for a room with a lot of enemies and a lot of objects. The force push will cause objects to fly into enemies from all around the area in front of Starkiller. In a room with explosive crates this can cause a chain reaction of exploding crates and plenty of flying debris. NOTE: Starkiller must defeat enough enemies in order to level up the normal force push before this charged version may be used. - Sith Flurry: (A + X [grab]) Starkiller reaches out and grabs the enemy then slams him to the ground and finishes him off with a stab from his saber. This may only be performed against human enemies. - Leaping Slam (Charge X in air) Starkiller charges his saber with force power then falls to the ground and sends a shockwave of force in all directions around him. - Stab (X while standing above a grounded enemy) While standing above a grounded enemy, Starkiller finishes off the enemy with a brutal stab. - Air Recover (A shortly before hitting the ground) Just before hitting the ground, Starkiller quickly suspends himself in the air upright then lands on his feet. ------- Enemies ------- Please note that in terms of health: Elite > Trooper > Saboteur > Stormtrooper -- Imperial Stormtrooper The Stormtrooper is the most basic enemy in The Force Unleashed and incredibly weak to almost any attack. A Stormtrooper will only attack by firing off his laser gun. These enemies can still be quite a nuisance in big groups however. -- Militia Saboteur Militia Saboteurs are just as weak as a Stormtrooper and they usually attack with their laser gun as well. The main aspect that sets these enemies apart from Stormtroopers is that they will toss grenades that can take quite a bit of damage depending on how close Starkiller is to the blast. The grenades can be tossed back at the Saboteurs by grabbing one with the force grip then throwing it. -- Militia Elite Militia Elite soldiers are some of the most deadly enemies in the demo because of their laser gatling gun. They can easily spam Starkiller with constant laser blasts and chip away at his life in a matter of seconds if you don't guard or stay on the constant move. Always make an elite soldier your number one priority in terms of defeat when one is found in a group of Saboteurs - at least knock him down with a force push so you won't fall victim to constant fire. Blocking will deflect any of the laser fire, but they usually don't stop shooting unless a laser blast is reflected back at them through blocking. The best way to defeat one of these enemies when you can't toss an object with force grip, is to knock him down with a force push or by some other means then run over and stab him with the saber while he is on the floor. Force Lightning also works well for stunning them in place and a Charged Force Blast from the air can easily knock them down along with whatever group of enemies they are with. -- Militia Trooper Troopers are almost as weak as Saboteurs but they can receive damage a bit better. They can actually block your physical hits also. They attack with a combination of their rod and physical kick attacks. The best way to defeat these enemy types is to hit them from a distance with any of your force powers. They are most deadly from close range, but they never are actually that much of a threat unless multiple Troopers surround Starkiller. Since these are the only enemies that make physical attacks a priority in the demo, they can be parried by blocking shortly before one of their attacks. The parry does little to help Starkiller out but it is rather interesting to try. Also, while blocking, Starkiller will hold his saber at a different angle than usual to block their physical attacks - it's quite interesting to watch. ------------------ Experience Bonuses ------------------ Starkiller gains experience for every enemy that is defeated - their names will appear on the top left of the screen to signify the experience gain. You can also get experience bonuses by defeating an enemy using a special method. What good is leveling up? Well, in the demo, it will allow Starkiller to gain his charged force push. If you struggle to perform tons of bonuses and defeat many enemies then you will be able to level up to the third level. Sadly, Starkiller will not gain any new moves as his level rises in the demo. The following experience bonuses will appear on the top left of the screen when performed. Just as a little note, some of these don't always activate when they are supposed to. -- Cannonball Force Grip an enemy then blast him with your force push (B). -- Crush Bonus Use Force Grip to toss an enemy into a wall, crate or any other type of object. You can also get this bonus by tossing a crate or object at an enemy. -- Destruction Bonus Finish off an enemy by tossing an explosive crate or toss an enemy into an explosive crate with Force Grip. -- Frenzy Bonus Defeat enemies quickly in a row to get this bonus. The bonus will begin after the third enemy is defeated and you will get the bonus after each enemy that is defeated quickly thereafter. -- Impale Use Force grip to lift an enemy then toss your saber at him with the tap of the X button. -- Lightning Grenade Use Force Grip to hold up an enemy then blast him with force lightning to surround him with electricity. Toss the glowing enemy at a wall or other enemy to receive this bonus. -- Long Way Down Bonus Use Force Grip to toss an enemy off the side of a bridge or walkway. -- Slam Bonus Use Force Grip to toss one enemy into another to defeat them. [WT00] =============================================================================== W A L K T H R O U G H =============================================================================== After choosing to begin to the demo, you will have a choice of three difficulties: Apprentice (Easy) Sith Warrior (Normal) Sith Lord (Hard) For each rise in difficulty, Starkiller will take more damage when he is hit by an enemy attack and he will not gain as much from green orbs after defeating enemies. I'd recommend starting on "Sith Warrior" for your first time through, but if you want any real challenge, you'll need to switch to "Sith Lord". This guide was written while playing on "Sith Warrior", but the strategies will work for "Sith Lord" also. You mainly have to be in tune with your force powers should you choose to play on "Sith Lord". == Hallway Outside the Hangar == After the opening cutscenes are finished, you will be in control of Darth Vader's secret apprentice - the apprentice known as Starkiller. Eclipse (the pilot of the Rogue Shadow) will leave Starkiller in the hallway that leads to the hangar then fly off. You'll want to become a bit familiar with the controls while no enemies are present. There are some droids up ahead but they are harmless. The A button is used to jump - tap it twice to perform a double jump. Tap the X button to perform attacks with the lightsaber, tap the Y button to perform a lightning attack, tap the B button for a force push. Both the lightening and force push take a certain amount of force power from your blue force meter displayed above the green life bar on the top left side of the screen. This gauge will replenish itself over time. Without any force power, Starkiller cannot perform any force moves. Tap the Y and B buttons directly after performing a lightsaber swing to extend or end a sequence of attacks with the desired action. Starkiller also has three extra special moves - a throw (A + X), a mid-air ground pound (charge X in the air) and a stab (X while near a grounded opponent) all of which have some good uses. Hold down the RB button to lock-on to an auto-targeted object or enemy. Press the LB button on the ground or in the air to perform a force dash. Press the LB button while holding either to the right or left while targeting an enemy to flip in that direction. While an object or enemy is targeted, hold the RT button to lift the target using the force (force grip). Use the left analog to push or pull a target into the background and foreground, use the right analog to move a target up or down. Both analogs can be used to move the target to the right or left. Hold in any direction then immediately let go of RT to toss the target in the desired direction. While holding an enemy with the force you can also tap X, Y and B for a saber stab, electric shock and force push respectively. Got all that, my gaming apprentice? Good. The windows along the sides of the hallway ahead can be broken open with an attack or object and the nearby objects will travel out into space. The airlock doors will seal the destroyed window eventually. Sadly, you will not have a chance to use this as an advantage since there are never any enemies nearby while windows are present. Many environmental objects around this hall and the rooms ahead may be interacted with by using Starkiller's various attacks. Go ahead and move down the hall. You can slice through the droids if you want. Be sure to practice lifting some objects with your force powers - this is REALLY needed on the hardest difficulty. At the end of the hall, you'll come upon a locked door. Tap the B button to force push right through the door and make it bend open - it may take more than one force push. == TIE Fighter Hangar == Enemy Encounter: Imperial Stormtroopers Well, the master said to finish all foes, so go ahead and plow through those two Stormtroopers up ahead. You'll start off at a distance from them while on the catwalk, so use the force grip to toss objects at them... or you might want to just toss the Stormtroopers over the catwalk. Collect the red --UNLIMITED ENERGY-- power-up from the end of the catwalk then jump off the side to the area below. Enemy Encounter: Imperial Stormtroopers and Militia Saboteurs The unlimited energy powerup will provide Starkiller with unlimited force power but it will only last for a few seconds, so be sure to make sure to spam your force powers at the beginning of this fight. The force lightning is one of the best force powers to use quickly, so jump into the middle of the Militia Saboteurs in front of the hangar doors down below then perform several lightening blasts with the Y button or you might want to use a force blast with B. Be sure to use the saber to destroy their 8-web turrets, so they can no longer use them. Saboteurs sometimes toss grenades, so be on the lookout for them then move away - you can also pick one of the grenade with the force grip then toss it back at them. Turn your attention to the right then run toward the Stormtroopers in the back of the hangar and defeat them. You might want to force grip the glass shield and toss it in the back of the hangar since it can get in the way. The TIE fighter flying vehicles suspended from the ceiling can actually be grabbed with your force grip and tossed at enemies in this area. Starkiller moves them slowly, so it is best to grab one then slam it straight to the floor if you want an instant attack. Starkiller's force push should eventually be leveled up after enough enemies have been defeated. The force push can be charged for a more powerful force push by holding the B button at that time - keep in mind that it can be performed in the air just like the normal force push. If you leap all the way to the top of the crashed spaceship in the middle of the room and get on the back extension, you can double jump up to the middle catwalk that overlooks the hangar from up above. Travel to the far side of this catwalk and collect the --HEALTH DRAIN AURA-- powerup. This powerup drains any nearby enemies of their health and replenishes Starkiller's health in the process. Jump down below with the new powerup and attack the Saboteurs and Stormtroopers. Groups of Stormtroopers will enter the hangar from an elevator that will rise on the right side of the crashed ship. Run over to the group and perform a leaping slam (charge X in air) directly into the middle of them then hit them with lightning and force pushes - if you have your charged force push already then charge it in the air while facing the group of Stormtroopers to take down a good majority of them. You can also use your saber, but mix in Y and B attacks along with the saber hits for better crowd control. Depending on the difficulty, more and more Stormtroopers may enter the hangar via the elevator. Once the carnage has come to a close and the area is quiet, run over to the sealed hangar doors directly across from the front portion of the crashed ship and face the doors. Use your force grab to grab a hold of the square metal piece with the red arrow pointing to the left then move it to the left with the right analog. Once the first seal opens, force grab the square metal piece with the red arrow pointing up and drag it upwards with the right analog. == Hallway Outside of Hangar == A small droid occupies the hall up ahead. Move toward the sealed door further down the corridor then hold the B button to charge a force blast and release the button to perform a charged force push. If you didn't defeat enough enemies to level up Starkiller's force push then simply tap the B button a few times to push the doors open. Enemy Encounter: Militia Saboteurs and Militia Elite Defeat the two Saboteurs directly ahead - you could easily toss the nearby crate at them. Run down the hall to the left. A group of Saboteurs and a Militia Elite will rush out from the hall to the left. The Militia Elite has a gatling gun that fires laser blasts. Block with the LT button if he ever starts to fire at Starkiller or you can run and jump to the side to avoid the laser blast also. You'll really need to take him down first or handle the whole group altogether with a mix of leaping slams, lightning blasts and force pushes. If you ever knock the Militia Elite down, then run over to him while he is on the ground and stab him with an X press while standing up above him for some major damage. You can also use your charged force push while in the air to inflict massive damage on the entire militia group! Find the next two sealed doors at the end of the hall then use a charged force push to knock each one open. The right room has an --INCREASED DAMAGE-- powerup inside. Grab the powerup then quickly knock down and move through the next set of doors. == Hallway to Outside Walkway == Enemy Encounter: Militia Saboteurs, Militia Troopers, Militia Elite, Imperial Stormtroopers Move down the hall then pick up one of the explosive crates to the side with your force grip then toss it into the background as the Militia Saboteurs and Militia Elite rush down the hallway in a group. Toss a few of the explosive crates at them to defeat the majority of them. The Militia Troopers carry rods and they are slightly tougher than a Saboteur, but they can only attack from close range. A Militia Elite is among them so you'll probably have to take him on from up close. Toward the end of the hall, a door to the left will open and Stormtroopers will begin to charge into the hallway. Defeat them with saber attacks mixed with force pushes or lightning. You can also use a charged force push while in the air to knock down the whole crowd. Eclipse will contact Starkiller once you move next to the sealed door on the right side of the hall. She tells him of some TIE fighters that have been sent to a nearby location. Use the charged force push to break open the sealed doors then rush outside. == Outside Walkway First Floor == --> Enemy Encounter: Militia Saboteurs, Militia Elite and TIE Fighters Force grip the explosive crates off to the left (with the red glowing lines) then toss them toward the group of militias that move across the walkway toward Starkiller. A Militia Elite is in the mix of them, so you'll have to take him down with physical attacks most likely. TIE Fighters will fly by and fire at Starkiller - their gunfire makes shockwaves along the floor, so jump whenever one of them flies by to avoid getting hit. The best way to get away from them is to finish off the militia troops then simply hurry toward the gap in the walkway further ahead and leap to the other side. You can toss objects at them to destroy them and you can actually force grab the steel columns along the side of the walkway and bend them outward so the TIE Fighters fly straight into them. The TIE fighters keep flying by though, so it's really useless to fight them. ** EASTER EGG - HIDDEN CLONE TROOPER HELMET ** Before hopping over the gap to the side along the walkway where the TIE fighters swoop by, if you want to see a hidden helmet easter egg, then use force grip to stack up a few crates next to the rooftop of the tunnel at the end of the first walkway then leap up to the rooftop of that tunnel. It is best to stack a cylindrical crate on its side (standing up) then stack another cylindrical crate on top of it or stack two rectangular crates on top of the cylindrical crate. Position them with the left analog then set them down lightly by using the right analog to lower them before letting go. Either way, make sure the crates are stacked right below the rooftop then hop on top of them and double jump to the rooftop. Use the force dash (LB) to help gain some extra air time during the double jump if needed. It is best to attempt this on the easiest mode since the TIE fighters will be swooping by and firing at Starkiller the entire time from the left side. The helmet will be at the end of the rooftop. It can't be collected. Stare in amazement then drop down and get back to the situation at hand. If you're out of crates, you can also grab the nearest column (steel girder) with Force Grip and stretch it toward the walkway. Jump on top of the steel column then double jump and force dash onto the rooftop. Sometimes the column can be hard to bend properly in order to get on top of it though. Another way to see this is to jump off the right side of the walkway that leads up to the AT-ST boss - the long piece at the beginning of that walkway. After blasting through the door, shortly after riding the elevator up, move to the far left edge of the right walkway then perform an extremely extended double jump and air force dash while moving toward the rooftop of the tunnel on the walkway below and you'll land on the rooftop and be able to see the helmet. Please note that this jump has to be very extended and you will have to press the jump button (for the double jump) and force dash button only after you have traveled a great distance in the air in order to maintain greater air time while moving toward the rooftop. You can also jump to the steel girder to the right of the rooftop then perform another double jump and dash over to the rooftop from the girder. The steel girder is easier to jump to, but you'll have to perform two sets of double jumps and dashes altogether. (thanks to PerfctWeapon, catkiller904, sdk_mal and many GameFAQs users) ** GRABBING A TIE FIGHTER WITH FORCE GRIP If you stand next to the gap in the bridge, preferably on the other side and look up toward the TIE fighters as they swoop by, you can actually see a auto- targeting cursor for a split second as they fly overhead. If you look up as they fly by and can time your force grip just right, to press it right when the targeting cursor appears then you will be able to catch a flying TIE fighter as it swoops by. You can also stand on the piece of walkway that extends off to the left just before the gap in the bridge to try this (the portion with the crates). (thanks to catkiller904) --> Enemy Encounter: Imperial Stormtroopers, Militia Saboteurs, Militia Troopers Jump over the gap in the walkway then move up ahead. Stormtroopers will be engaged in a right with Saboteurs and Troopers. Toss explosive crates at the groups of enemies up ahead to thin out their numbers then defeat any stragglers with whatever move assortment of your choosing. Walk over to the sealed doors off to the left and perform a charged force push to knock them open. --> Enemy Encounter: Imperial Stormtroopers Stormtroopers will attack from both sides of the room. Toss crates at them or leap into the air and perform a charged force push to one side of the room to knock down some of the Stormtroopers. Eclipse will eventually contact Starkiller and tell him to use the lift to reach the floor above. There is nothing useful through the doors on the other side of the room, so run over to the lit up circular room past the doorway off to the right when first entering this area then step onto the lift and it will automatically move to the floor above. == Outside Walkway Second Floor == --> Enemy Encounter: Militia Saboteurs and Militia Troopers Use an air charged force push to knock down the many militias in the back of the room then run toward them and take them down one by one - one of them controls an 8-web turret, so be sure to knock him away from it. The sealed door to the right will only lead to a dead end gap. Approach the sealed door off to the left and knock it open with a charged force push. --> Enemy Encounter: Imperial Stormtroopers and Militia Saboteurs Militia Saboteurs and Stormtroopers will be engaged in combat and scattered along the walkway up ahead. Toss objects at them to easily defeat them or practice on your physical attack combos. As Starkiller approaches the other end of the walkway, an elevator carrying an AT-ST and a group of Stormtroopers will rise up from the very back. ++++ Boss: AT-ST (Walker) -- Attacks: Stomp shockwave: AT-ST hits the floor with one its legs Avoidance: Jump into the air or keep your distance. Laser blasts: AT-ST shoots rapid fire lasers from one of its shoulder guns Avoidance: Run around the side of the AT-ST or block. Grenade: AT-ST fires a grenade from its left side. Avoidance: Move out of the area of the grenade. Mouth Laser: AT-ST fires two laser shots from its middle gun (the mouth). Avoidance: You can't block these two laser shots, so run to the side or jump to avoid them. The best way to approach this battle from the beginning is to focus on taking down the Stormtroopers that are around the AT-ST. Run around the AT-ST and fire at the Stormtroopers with Lightning to easily defeat them while Starkiller continues to run. You could also try using an air charged force push while facing the group to knock away the Stormtroopers - possibly knocking them off the side. Don't ever stand in front of the AT-ST or attempt to attack it from its front side or it will fire a rapid fire laser from either of its side guns. Try not to stand near one its legs either since it will eventually lift one of them up then stomp the ground and produce a shockwave that will knock Starkiller off balance. If it ever manages to knock Starkiller off balance then quickly tap the A button before landing on the ground to recover instantly. There is a -- DAMAGE INCREASED-- powerup along the left side of this area that can come in handy but the AT-ST running over to collect it will expose Starkiller to the AT-ST's guns and you'll more than likely get shot at. You need to be careful about standing too close to the edge of the platform since the AT-ST can easily knock Starkiller off the edge. In order to defeat the AT-ST, get behind it then jump into the air and hit it with constant leaping slams (charge X). This will almost always hit it with a single air slash then the AT-ST will be hit by two leaping slams in a row per attack since it is so big. This will put constant pressure on the AT-ST and stagger him after every hit. The AT-ST cannot even perform a single attack if you can keep this up. If the AT-ST somehow starts to attack then you can blast it with force electricity to stun it for a brief few seconds. Constant leaping slams will completely annihilate this boss however, if you can keep performing them one after another while near him. In a way, you don't have to be behind it to defeat it with leaping slashes but you risk getting hit with laser fire from the AT-ST's front side. You'll have to trigger a button tap sequence in order to finish off the AT-ST. Step in front of the AT-ST when it only has about 25% of its health bar remaining or less then watch for the X button icon to appear. Tap the X button to trigger a button tap sequence that will finish off the AT-ST boss. ** Button Tap Commands: A, X The demo will end shortly after the AT-ST has been destroyed. UPDATE: Physical lightning attacks with the Y button can be used to stun the AT-ST boss also. Perform a normal lightning attack to stun it then hit it from the ground with X, Y, Y or any other combinations of X and Y attacks to stun it with each Y press. This will take it down just as fast as the other method described above. (thanks to catkiller904) UPDATE 2: You can also stand far away from the AT-ST and toss crates and Stormtroopers at it with Force Grip. If you get far enough away from it then it shouldn't even fire lasers at Starkiller. Objects take some major damage from it, so by the time you get close to it the AT-ST should have no life at all, and will be waiting for you to execute the finisher sequence! (thanks to Ryan) UPDATE 3: Lift up objects or enemies with Force Grip then electrify them with force lightning and then toss them at the AT-ST. UPDATE 4: Work the AT-ST toward the left corner walkway without any railing (with the power up) and use Force Push to knock it off. I have found it easiest to work it over this way with the leaping slam, but you can also use force push. (thanks to the anonymous users that posted in the following blog post on my blog: http://tinyurl.com/5t78nm) [SE00] =============================================================================== S E C R E T S =============================================================================== -- Hidden Clone Helmet Easter Egg Location: Outside Walkway - Above the tunnel in the back of the walkway Before hopping over the gap to the side along the walkway where the TIE fighters swoop by, if you want to see a hidden helmet easter egg, then use force grip to stack up a few crates next to the rooftop of the tunnel at the end of the first walkway then leap up to the rooftop of that tunnel. This is not really a per se, but it can help you to get a bit more enjoyment out of the demo. In order to make extra enemies spawn in the demo, wait until Starkiller makes it to the walkway right before the AT-ST boss fight then commit suicide by jumping off the ledge. Starkiller will start at a checkpoint outside the doors to the walkway. At that time, run over to the side of the right portion of the walkway and jump to the walkway below. Enemies should appear down below once again and respawn in the areas ahead. Backtrack all the way to the elevator room to fight some extra enemies along the way. By doing this, you should be able to level up to the second or possibly third level, although there are no special moves to be unlocked after level one. If you go even further back to the halls that lead to the first floor outside walkway then you might be able to get some Militia Elites to spawn again on the way back.
